Greetings and congratulations for what you are doing, I have a question or rather a confusion, namely: what do you think about the round biorb aquariums or about the round bowls of different gallons 10, 20, 30 etc... can fish be kept in them? The shape of the aquarium matters so much, I ask you that everyone gives their opinion and has certain ideas. Thank you and I wish you all the best!
Keep up the amazing work. You are the reason I got into aquascaping... even entered the Chihiros contest. Love your work and learning from you. Thank you for all you do.
Hi! So you live in the Netherlands!! beautiful country, I lived in Arnhem, Güeldres in 1973-1974! It was when I was 10 years old, love the country, love the people Ik bent geen Netherlander! But I want to come back and visit The Netherlands. I enjoy your videos, and had many ideas from them! Best Regards I’m Elanië from México City 😊
MJ u gotta' add some Gastromyzon Sp Bloody Mary Loaches to the tank. Gorgeous fish . And on topic .... Awesome scape, love your vids. Would love to see a colab with MD Fish Tanks and Fish Shop Matt ❤❤❤
Heey buurman greetings from Antwerp 🤙👊🐟 Last time I used a mos ( smoothie ) in a dry startup I used aged tank / canister filter water and spraying tank water on the wood to get a better and more bush growth from the mos I hope this can help you for the next time 👊🤙🐠
I love this scape! Looks like one of The Green Machine's old scapes and looks great! Idea: how about adding a fern at the corner? A lemon button fern would look good, or a maidenhair
When you're doing the dry start with the moss you should use slightly less water and sprinkle in some aqua soil, that's the nutrients that it needs to grow. It also helps it to attach ;)
Patience, at the end the moss grew very well! By the way, I saw a video by ‘Pachi Aquarium’ and I remember he combines a dark start (with water) for the hardscape for a few weeks, followed by a dry start for the moss without water. This worked quite well perhaps due to the fact that the wood was well soaked with water after the dark start.
Great vid! I was looking on YT if someone ever did a native dutch biotope style setup, but could not find any. Ofcourse the fish and critters are not very colourfull or anything, but it seems really cool to me
Another great scape, MJ. Bedankt voor de videos. It’s cool that you still showed the result with the moss even though it didn’t initially turn out as you’d hoped. Sometimes on UA-cam it can be easy to get sucked into believing everything is easy and goes right first time when in real life it doesn’t always go that way! Especially when you’re still fairly new and learning like me! It was so cool to see you at Horizon for the workshop with Balbi. It would have been great to chat to you but I didn’t want to distract you as you looked very busy 😅 hope all my questions aren’t causing you headaches to edit! Maybe next time 😊 tot ziens!
i remember last time you did moss smoothie you used a bit of aquasoil and said that people also use yogurt for stickiness, seems like myriophyllum matogrossense is a bit overpowering all other smaller plants, anyways very nice end result
I have a bottle of soda stream sitting at home and I can't find a suitable system. Where can I buy the reducer valves that fit this bottle? Thanks in advance!
Yeah there’s no solenoid valve on the regulator, so I’m using an “inline” solenoid. So basically from the regulator I have a little bit of tubing, then the solenoid, and then more tubing towards the diffuser
Can u help me bro? I have an aquarium light. The aquarium light is connected to a box with button. If click on box once, purple light on. If click again, purple light off. If click again, white light on. If click again, it off. If click again, pink light on, if click again, it off. I want white light only, but i dont know how to connect it to a timer so that only white light on. Please reply sir😢.
If you unplug the light while the white light is on, and then plug it back in, does the white light come back on? If it does, it will probably work with a mechanical timer cause all they do is cut the power to whatever is plugged into it.
@Anonymous-gh3wc It's hard to know what will help without knowing about the light, but if there's a connector between the aquarium light and the plug, then there are aquarium light timer and dimmers that you can purchase to go inline between that connection, and should be able turn the light on and off without switching through the spectrums.
Wheres the flow? i keep clickin on river tanks and they never got water flow. Im not talkin ragin river. some decent movement tho. This tank was pretty and all but I could'nt tell you it was a riverbank if you didnt put it in the title.

this is such a unique and cute combo choice of fishes!!!! ❤
Great learning curve. Great video. The best on UA-cam does it again.
Hi MJ, yeah, pretty nice end result. I could not envisionit at the beggining, awsome mate!
Looks great my friend as usual!!!😍
Hello from my fish room in Chicago, where I continue to be inspired by yours :)
If you want to spray , you can get like the uns atomizer mist, and in a small container with water add it in for a little to mist and then close
Another amazing aquascape. Simple but so beautiful! Great job Mark!
I always love the choice of plants in every tank you make! I wanna see you one day use the rarest plants in a tank ❤
ممنون از شما که زیر نویس فارسی را اضافه کردید❤
Amazing job as always Mark! 👊

I habe to try a drystart in my next setup, the moss looks much more natural. The rasboras are an amazing fish choice 😍

So, very simple and nice. Amano cut the moos in pieces and tied it with thread but i'm discovering your technique with a dry start. It's interresting.
Another amazing video and beautiful build!
Thank you Sr.
you can do dry start on smooth surfaces but you need little bit bigger particles of moss 😊
Brilliant 👍
Keen as for this legend
Nice aquascape
Nice video MJ. I haven't kept emerald dwarf rasbora yet, they are very attractive.
Great vid! I was looking on YT if someone ever did a native dutch biotope style setup, but could not find any. Ofcourse the fish and critters are not very colourfull or anything, but it seems really cool to me
You should try kuhli loaches, I have some and they have really cool behavior when introduced to a planted tank with plenty of hiding places
Another nice video. Next time with dry start method, consider use an air pump with a bottle. It makes it easier

And sorry if we didn’t chat at Horizon, next time just tap me on the shoulder!
If I knew 5 years ago that if you take this hobby serious it would cost a lot of money I would have never upgraded to a big tank back in the day😂
Give me luck! 🍀
Tomorrow I will do a new aquascape, maybe you will see it on IADC!
Thank you for sharing your work.😁

Can you do the same with Christmas moss?
Can you make a hardscape for a pleco tank ? its hard to make it beautiful with all those pleco caves
Hello,
During maintenance, do you clean gravel in front by stir it gently from the top or stir it deeply with a vaccum to remove debris?
Whats your tank parameters? ❤❤tank is looking awesome
What moss did you use?
wow
Can you use the same method with the "moss smoothie" to do a moss carpet?
Should work yeah, I’ve just never tried it myself
@@MJAquascaping sounds like a new video idea to me 😁
I have a bottle of soda stream sitting at home and I can't find a suitable system. Where can I buy the reducer valves that fit this bottle?

Very nice aquascape. I dont see any kind of solenoid valve on co2? How do you mantain on/off time on co2 with this soda bottle type system?
Yeah there’s no solenoid valve on the regulator, so I’m using an “inline” solenoid.

Excellent idea! Thank you man! 👍
In 12:53.... What's the other fish beside Borneo loach, is that Guntheri or Zodiac Loach.. Because they'll eat adult shrimp also
That’s a Rosy loach 😊

Hello,
Will the cryptocoryne plant thrive in sand without any nutrients at the bottom?
Yeah they will 😊
