Anyone else remember the 2008 Finals (Back in Brian Scalabrines prime) when the Celtics, thanks to Scal, led the series 3-0, but were down by 120 points in the 4th quarter with 0.1 seconds to go? They hadn't put in Scal because of the infamous 'Scalabrine Rule' which prohibited Scal from playing more than 0.1 seconds to make it fair. As soon as he's subbed in, Scal wasted no time with the full-court, quintuple pump-fake, 1069° fader, which took no more than 0.000000000000000000069 seconds. Then, he proceeds to lob it to himself from full-court and hit the between-the-legs, blindfolded dunk, which was so fast they actually subtracted time from the clock. The officals ended the game once Scal achieved a quintuple quadruple of 6969 assists, 6969 rebounds, 6969 steals, 6969 blocks, and 696969696969 points. With Scal's effort, the Celtics overcame their 120 point defecit to sweep the Lakers and win the championship, and Scal shot an impressive 169% from the field. We'll never see another player like Scal.

Why would you simplify free throw numbers? That's dumb. If anything you could show it as a percentage, but actually putting up the number 3/21 paints a better picture of his atrocious free throw shooting.

He was just saying "Jesus Christ that's so bad". I don't think he was trying to be pretentious. I'm not arguing I'm just trying to clarify what this fellow probably meant

I'm surprised to see the Spurs-Memphis as the #1. As a Spurs fan, I remember that the Grizzlies was the worst match-up for the Spurs due to size. Spurs had too many guards and not enough forwards/centers. There was also talks that the Grizzlies purposely tanked to the 8th seed to get the match-up against the Spurs.

Biggest Playoff Upset must be the '11 Dallas Mavericks vs Newly formed "Big Three" of Miami Heat. Dude, who even believes that Dallas would be in the WCF, let alone the Finals? The Heat pretty much stomps the season and to the Finals. What Dallas did was way above everyone's expectations, including themselves.

Defense is why they won but it helped that 2nd year played lophonzo Ellis had a breakout game with 27 and 17 rebs in game 4 and then Robert pack off the bench got 23 in game 5 while the late R.I.p. bison dele grabbed 19 rebounds lol

That 94 nuggets team almost took out Utah...took them to 7..as a 8th seed in round 2..who knows what they would of done vs Houston...good main 8...Ellis dikembe Williams rauf stith with pack dele and Rodney Rodgers hsmmonds as main backups ...good solid core

Nice video. I think the 1994-95 Houston Rockets were pretty insane. They only won 47 games and then went on to beat a 60 win Utah Jazz team in round 1, a 59 win Phoenix Suns team in round 2, a 62 win San Antonio Spurs team in round 3 and then swept a 57 win Orlando team in the finals. Nobody has ever done that in the history of the NBA other than that Rockets team.

The 2016 Cavs were a one seed as well and won 57 games. So as disappointing as blowing a 3-1 lead to them was, its not like a team that was supposed to be garbage destroyed beat the #1 seed, so it cant really be one of the greatest upsets ever. Plus they got a little assist from the NBA (you know what I mean).

I think the Mavs upset over the Lakers is better than the Phoenix upset seriously nobody saw them sweeping the defending champs as that year was the closest to a Kobe-Lebron matchup, heck I remember even Vegas had them losing to Portland in the 1st round they weren't favored in any series they played.

Yo that Nuggets-Sonics series was huge. The Sonics had the Rockets number that year. Though the Jazz would've still been tough for the Sonics matchup wise and was a potential 7 game series, if the Sonics got passed them they had swept the season series vs the Rockets that year.

I just wanted to say about the 99' Knicks. They did have an unbelievable run like in 1994 when J Starks could have won them a championship if not for Hakeem's block. In the 1999 finals the games could have gone either way at a bunch of points, but the Spurs kept denying the Knicks' run and playing championship basketball. (in a nutshell the 99' finals remind me a bit of the 2001 finals with A.I. winning the 1 game)

The one thing I hate to say about your #1 pick is if I remember correctly, Memphis was like a 6th seed and knew they couldn't get higher, looked at who they were playing thought they best matched up with San Antonio and literally started to bomb at the end of the season to get in the 8th spot. But my memory could be wrong here.

Awesome channel, bro! I've watched almost every single video on your main channel, and they just get better and better as time goes on. You're basically my inspiration because I want to be an NBA play-by-play announcer one day, and I love public speaking and the NBA just like you do! I take a lot of my tendencies and habits when I speak and explain things about basketball to other people from you. You make awesome videos, and the topics you come up with are SO sick and clever. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to this channel, because you've given me and thousands of other people the confidence and motivation to do whatever they want to do in their lives! Also, on another note, I somehow stumbled upon your channel for the first time around March 2016, and I have been a HUGE fan ever since. I came in to watching your videos knowing a lot about basketball (mostly the NBA,) but ever since I started watching your vids, I learned so much more! You've taught me so much behind-the-scenes time of information that is so cool to learn about, so I appreciate that very much.
    Sincerely your fan and sub,
    Jgthegoat13

I think Nelson coaching the Warriors in 2007 kind of contributed to the upset. Just my opinion. He coached the Mavs AND Dirk, so he may know a thing or two. Plus yeah, Dirk choked. I think he's still haunted and wasn't ready.
PropZ, Mike! You know your thing. True NBA fans know more than just KD, Bron, Kobe, Warriors, Curry, etc. NBA's got lots of good stuff kept inside a big treasure chest and you're bringing them out.

As a Mav fan I gotta combat this. Their coach was Don Nelson. If Pop went to coach versus the Spurs of course he'd have the code to beat them
