I love the X5 but IMO the M Sport Pkg is the best way to have it, I think it looks cooler, you get better brakes, and you get upgraded adaptive M Sport suspension (rides just as good as the Luxury Line ones with optional air suspension while handling superior and being less complex)
Ben, wish you would start making it a standard part of your review to mention whether the vehicle is equipped with a spare tire or are they trying to get by with something short of that. BMW seems to be loosening its insistence on run flats on some models. I love the engine and most aspects of this vehicle but can't get past the screen controls. Maybe next time you can demo how easy (!) it is to change radio stations or do something else while driving at speed on the highway or in heavy traffic!
I have a 2024 X5 and have no problem selecting radio (Sirius) stations on the move. Merely select media using the control knob and a list of current stations appear , scroll up or down and push to select. You can also use voice commands to select stations. I had a 2021 X5 with programable push buttons which I rarely used. You can also select with steering wheel controls.
@@jeffsena9140 That first option sounds pretty reasonable. I have a new Grand Highlander and I usually need to use the steering wheel controls where you have to sometimes cycle through all of the presets to get where you need to go. I once had to pull over to do something on the touchscreen. Thanks for the info. If you have run flats, how are they doing from noise, smooth ride, etc.?
@@brianbarbe9646 , I have run flats but also the M sport package with adaptive suspension. Pretty good most of the time but harsh impacts can be felt. BMW offers the option of regular tires with a spare for additional cost. It must be ordered, they don’t come that way!
X5 is in the middle as in VFM? The comfort of the rangie is incomparable to the other two though. X5 somewhat matches the sportiness of the Cayenne. @@CarGeek360
@@rohangigigeorge7595 yeah the X5 is def closer to the Cayenne than the Range but they’re all great cars, my dad cross-shopped all 3 along with some other stuff and he will be placing an order for a 2025 BMW X5 40i M Sport fully loaded within the next one-two months, we’re gonna wait it out a little as we have plans to travel a lot this summer and we don’t want the car to show up while we’re in the middle of our vacation
I Rented A 2024 X5 in Dallas, drove for 2 weeks, the ride quality is no comparison to the X7 I rented last year. With the X5, My kid in the back asked me why is the car so bumpy. Engine is great, effortless merging on the fast freeway in Dallas. But ride quality really sucks, I’d suggest getting the air suspension.
Definitely don’t agree. No idea what kind of roads you were driving on or what may have been up with the one you had but in no way is the ride quality bad on this generation of X5.
Picking mine up at the BMW performance center in SC on Wednesday. So excited.
that's awesome. You should post a video of that experience.
Congrats on the purchase! It’s an amazing car, you def made a right choice!
Man can t wait to pick up my 2025 bmw x5 m60i beginning of July
@@ThuyNguyen-xf3rm congrats! That’s an amazing SUV!
I have a 2023 and it has been the best SUV we've had....replacing our 2020 RRS. Really want the facelift now.
Best SUV looking right now
Difference between the previous version (2024)?
The black out grill looks better on a BMW love the interior I have to say BMW built a cool suv

Ben with the Green Giant pose in the thumbnail 😆
review the 50e please!!
Are both the Cayenne and the RRS in a different league or are the 3 comparable apples to apples?
RRS is the most luxurious, Cayenne is the sportiest, I’d say the X5 is in the middle, all great cars for sure
Middle? So you mean VFM as the other two are at a higher price level, 30% markup at least @@CarGeek360

Because I can
Whats gross is you have to option out a lot of shit for the advanced pilot assiss
So, it's about $30k cheaper than a new Ram truck
Ram truck is a lot more vehicle.
$76,000 Not a bad price for a cellphone car
Have you ever tested a vehicle and actually ran out of gas?
