how do you manage to get such smooth camera movements?
i just cant seem to do it while my stand is on a baseplate cause it keeps getting stuck between studs..

Just use a cutting mat, that’s what Iv done because it’s quite sturdy and doesn’t slip but it’s easy to move. Not sure what he uses but that’s what I’ve done recently

I put my camera stand on a surface of flat Lego tiles with a single stud at the center so I can easily pan my camera on a fixed point.

I animate using stop motion studio pro, add all of the blaster effects using a program called SaberMovieFX, then use DaVinci Resolve to add the final sound effects and colour corrections. I hope this helps
