LEGO Star Wars the Clone Wars battle - 501st clone invasion of Jedha City (Stop-Motion Animation)

- Clone forces led by the 501st legion invade the separatist occupied city on Jedha in order to bring it under Republic control. The clones face heavy resistance as local militia forces have allied with the droid army to repel the 501st assault.
After 7 months in production, hundreds of digital effects, and countless hours of work, I’m proud to present my most ambitious animation to date.

Nice to see someone use Separatists that aren’t just Droids. Most of the fighting in the Clone Wars was done by local planetary defense forces, militias, rebels, and private militaries on both sides and not Clones and Droids, those were for the most important engagements and invasions and really important worlds
Indeed it’s very nice to see this style
its also great for when you dont have much droids
No really tho the whole reason the Republic used clones was because they barely had a standing military force and the only planet we know had a defence force was the naboo so the majority of fighting in the rebublic was done by clones

Agreed, I would also like to maybe see a space battle where they don’t only just use Munificents and Venators, like Dreadnaught-Heavy Cruisers (which both sides used) and maybe even the republic preator

Holy shit! That was awesome! I love how it’s separated and rebel vs republic! The blasts fired and the explosion was so epic! I originally thought this was a separated holdouts vs empire but still! This is epic!

I’m just saying it, those are not rebels, i think it are hirelings or something like that. The rebel cam a lot later then the clones

This stop motion is crazy brother. I really love how you were able to do the poses and intergrade the Battlefront 2 voice lines to make the battle so chaotic and filled with lego carnage, that it seems like it's straight out of the show. The thing I really like about this the most tho, besides from the battle; is the concept of this battle: the GAR fighting not only separatists but the locals as well I think adds more to the Clones, as their battles were not always against programmed devices of war.
In summary: I loved your Stop motion, and can't wait to see other projects you have in store 👍
Absolutely knocked it out of the park! I loved every minute of it. It reminded me so much of the big Clone Wars fights. You nailed the stop motion, the editing, just a great piece of Lego Star Wars content!

I gotta say this is the most well made Lego stop motion animation I've ever seen, it must've taken such a long time to make. Just the details especially, every guy who gets blown up having like, 20 individual movements as he flies up and then falls. It's epic.

It’s cool seeing organic separatists fighting with the droid army too. The republic had their pro fighters and the CIS had theirs.
Might be fun to see Rogue Clones and the Rebel Alliance successfully fight off the empire in a future stop motion.

The tank you have in the animstion is the older version, with Ayla secure in the set. I used to have that version, now it’s just pieces but I have the new one, a detail I loved. Hell of an animation tho
