I've had the Extreme Sonic pleasure to have heard this on both RLA sound systems PARADISE GARAGE & CLUB ZANZIBAR, it sounded incredible on BOTH, i couldn't pick one, even though ive been to the Garage just once and the only time i heard it on ZANZ's system was after the Garage closed LARRY played at Zanz and "PUMPED IT " there. I've heard it at other clubs but the experience just wasn't the same. You would truely have to heard this BACK THEN to know of what I'm saying.
I almost went to the garage I think on the last year they were open in the summer of 87. I had gotten some flyer for the garage while in the west village, but didn’t know what it was in 87. But I did manage to go to some great clubs on that trip and NYC was on fire and the whole city was jumping, even in the day time. You heard music in the streets and everyone was soaking it in. The clubs were a sweat box and everyone dance their asses off. I love the NUC energy in those days and nothing like it anywhere else. Back when it was all underground and you had to be into that scene to witness the greatness being made.

I'm so so thankful that i got to make it to the PARADISE GARAGE AT LEAST ONCE before it closed, also for getting to experience LARRY LEVAN there and then at ZANZIBAR in Newark NJ (where I'm born and raised) to hear him on both RLA sound systems was a Sonic Experience.
