It’s why I laughed at Stroman opting out of his Cubs deal. The only way it made sense for him is if he knew he was cooked and just wanted one extra year in the league at a higher AAV than he would have gotten in free agency.
probably should of been on the roster instead of nestor though.
Forget his character issues, his fastball couldn't play on a decent high school team... another terrible Cashman move
He had a sub 4 era into September 🤦🏼♂️
Just sign world series champ Brent Honeywell
Bit of a loose cannon? Yes
Bit of a loser? Certainly
He's 33 now and may be on the way down and out with a 4.31 ERA last year and just 0.7 bWAR. We may not see 2019-2022 Stroman again, making whatever issues come along with his performance on the field not worth putting up with anymore.
Never liked him. His whole personality and wack swag is just so unlikable.
The Yankees will have eat a lot of his contract to get rid of him!
Not really, just 5-6 mil.
In this market Stroman for 12-13 million is a good deal
Stroman Twitted himself out of Toronto went he went public with his thoughts after he and the Jays went to arbitration. He didn’t like hearing what the Jays had to say about him and his value. AJ Dickey referred to him, obliquely, as high rent. High pertinence is what he meant, I think.
I think Marcus Stroman would be really good for Cincinnati Reds!🔥. Who agrees?
He goes to the A's just so they can spend enough money to avoid being punished and sued by the pa
Exactly!!! Also, SCREW JOHN FISHER!!!
