Interesting insights. I appreciate you combining aspects of your upbringing with your spiritual path as it is now. Attempting the same with my Jewish upbringing. Love from Appalachian Witchery
Hi Kelly-Ann I love the idea to have a manifestation box on my altar. I will give that a go too. I also was surprised to see you've got Mary on your altar. Lately I've been drawn to my Christian upbringing and it seems to blend perfectly with my pagan views. In the end it everything is an aspect of the Divine Thank you for this wonderful video
This was amazingly helpful. thanks! Would love to hear more about your astral "meetings" and how you do them. Whatever you would like to share would be really insightful. It's an area that I find fascinating but don't know that much about. Love ya! thanks!!
I love your altar. I work with the Virgin Mary a lot, it's a very pure & purifying energy that she gives, & sometimes my altar can be very contradictory cos I'd uss a pentacle or some buddhist objects and then an image of the virgin, but I don't really care for labels.
It's funny, I use to go to church with my Nana after I had been confirmed at age 11. I loved the ritual aspect. I was confirmed, but it was on my own choice. I wanted to feel closer to God (and to taste the bread and wine, as did everyone on the course) ;) I use cone incense occasionally. I love musk, and I burn it in a dragon, who has his mouth open, so he looks like he is all fired up. I have often burned through materials. I once needed to get it out the room quickly, and put it on my window ledge, which I didn't realise was PVC. There is a huge scorch mark. I find it difficult to put them out if needed. I am not allowed to light incense in my room. Very sad times... A lovely video. You have inspired me. I think am going to make a video response to this =) I will try my very best xxx
I love listening to intentions from my altar room. One wand wants to be massaged with Door Opening Oil. The Door Opening Oil doesn't want to be anywhere else. Two days ago the room wanted to be cleansed with a rattle. The room doesn't want to be accessed at night. A piece of green granite wants to have two images scried and put in my backpack, with the images in my BOS. My eggshells don't want to be replaced with a very delicate bowl. My God-cards want to be read less than my Goddess Cards!!! I have talking paintings on my channel KAM
I know, right?! It's so sweet and zingy! Love it. I really love my altar set up right now - I think it's the gold. I keep looking over at it when I'm doing other stuff and it just calls me to it.
It says, 'Holy the hideous human angels.' It's a line from a poem called Footnote to Howl by Allen Ginsberg. The lyrics are also used in a song by Patti Smith called 'Spell' which I fucking ADORE.. You can check it out here if you feel called.. Patti Smith - Spell [Live Portland, Oregon, 2001]
Thanks for this :) You inspired me to get a large and colourful plastic cast of our Lady of Guadalupe :) There is a red cranberry candle lit next to her :)
omg i love giger too! haha...i use debbie harry's KooKoo for an avatar quite often. is that low down near the floor or like you could sit at a chair with it?
I would kill so much to have an alter but I have two toddlers who can get into anything!!! Any suggestions how I could set one up? Maybe a box I can store away but it kind of loses its appeal if I can't have big beautiful candles... Also I love the idea of just keeping it set up so I can see it daily. *sigh* I guess I just have to wait until they are older... :(
Dorffen very simply put you can say this, yes. The circle's main reasons are your own protection (like no uninvited may enter the circle) and focusing energy which you can use for a ritual, chant, spell or summuning.
When I was lottle I would find magical props, like a ring in a vending machine, at the supermarket, and play Fairies with them. Now I find objects that speak to me and use them in a room (some might call an altar room) as a "backstage area" for my life. I still pretend!!! Since it is a room, I think of it as a drawn circle. I use a found stick as a wand to focus energy. you are welcome to visit my channel and google+ profile: sinda xchaefer.
It is Crone Goddess oil :) I don't have one in stock currently but I am always happy to make one if you would like one :) You can also email me through the store or on here if you need to xxx
sam wright I'm not even lying when I tell you that I found them in Poundland. :P I can't usually find them anywhere but I wasn't even looking for them when I purchased these - I just picked them up, delighted, obviously. I have a couple of US friends who have sent me devotional candles before. I have also ordered some from Etsy from US sellers but I know what you mean - the import charge isn't exactly easy on the bank account.
Oh wow! I will have to do some searching, my friend and I are going shopping in Southend on sea soon, they have some really good pound shops, I also found a lady who can make me the candles I want with the deity I'd like, sooo beyond thrilled to not have to pay shipping, you are teaching me tarot at the moment and I'd like to thank you. You really are a delight to watch xxxxxxxxxx
When I click on the link for starry eye supplies it says: You don't need to see this web site. You can go about your business. Move along, move along... WTF?
I suggest you (because I am italian and not able using english) reading "beyond god the father" written by Mary Daly. It was uploaded on google too ("beyond god the father pdf") you can read it, and you can discover the real story of christianity and their SCORN against women. with the inquisition persecution and with their horrible theology of the male supremacy. mary is not a goddess. she is the servant, she is a symbol of female submission and she is considerated only as an hymen (hymen-olatry), not as a REAL woman (or as a goddess). the cult of mary, in fact, is the denial of sexual pleasure (for women) mary is the SLAVE, the servant, of a god worshiped as a father and as a male (christ). in christianity there is not an idea of a "goddess", only about a male-god. finally, the idea of "mary immaculate" MEANS that all other women are lower and dirty as women "not used for the pregnancy of the divine male fetus". So, read "beyond god the father" written by Mary Daly and you will see that is absurd "to love mary" or "to say she is a goddess". mary is a symbol of patriarchal oppression, used to denigrate all women and to deny sexual pleasure (the cult of mary is based upon a sexual phobia: catholic people venerate her hymen not her clito or her body; the hymen was considered her greatest privilege, as saying "well, the women without hymen are dirty"). Hope you can reflect about this.

It's always gratifying to go back to older videos and listen. This altar set up is divine.
I'm such a fan.. Omg, seeing this was so satisfying :D
Nice to see someone else who loves the Great Mary! :)
mary is NOT a goddess. she is the CREATURE and the SLAVE of the father-the-god. a symbol of female submission and misoginy.

Also, thank you for sharing something so personal with us. It was very insightful and inspiring. x
great video..i work with mary a lot as well. have a great weekend lovely
If you’re not sure if the piece is fire-proof, place the incense on a small mound of salt within the bowl / plate. It keeps it from getting too hot.
With the risk of sounding like a weirdo, I am so excited to watch this video it hurts :P
Hahaha! Best comment ever! Haha! :) Oh, I have definitely gotten myself into the same weirdo state over some of your vids in the past, fo sho!

Fascinating!! Thanks for sharing. What does your tattoo say? :)

***** It's on the floor - I use a meditation cushion. :) Well, Debbie Harry is indeed a goddess.

A shelf out of reach on the wall?
I recommend lighting a candle, making a wish, and blowing the candle out, then hiding the candle
Well, shit. Now I "need" a wind-up nun. :/
amen
If you practice magic you have to do the circle?
And bad energy or entities can appear if you are using magic?

I have watched this video, oh likely a dozen times, over the years. Such a creeper for your altar videos and anything with books or journals.
Where did you get the candles of Mary?
Jesicala Dala get them in a Mexican Latin store
I know I’m very late.. but-Dollar stores always carries many saint candles! Also, I see them in Walmart.
What's the name of the oil you have from Joey Morris?
I'll find out and let you know - don't know off hand. :) I've messaged her. x

Saint Martha reincarnated in the XX century. Have you checked Elizabeth Clare Prophet? I've mentioned her to you already.
I checked her out on your recommendation and I was astounded by her. Did she claim to be the reincarnation of St Martha?
Yes, she did. Imma find it for you.
