I see myself having a relationship with my son like you two have in a few years. This will his first year for my son living on his own and he has asked me to help him grow some tomatoes at his place. I just ran across your recent video on growing peas and decided to check out some of your other videos. I love growing and then canning the tomatoes for later use. I moved from Seattle to New Mexico in 2016 and have been trying to figure out growing methods that will work in the high desert here. We only get 5 to 7 inches of rain and often experience temperatures in the the triple digits during the late spring and into the fall. Your tip regarding growing corn on the west side of yor peas really caught my attention, so I thought I would subscribe to your channel and check out your videos for great nuggets of information to grow vegetables successfully.

I am so grateful to have found your channel just recently. I also am an avid gardener and was amazed by the size of your tomatoes and eggplant. I have never grown anything that big before but have certainly tried. My largest tomato was a big Zac and Sicilian saucer. 12 years ago I moved out of the city. I purchased a 10 acre lot and jumped into homesteading with both feet. I just found your channel! So excited to learn more from a seasoned grower. I've always dreamed of growing my own food. God has blessed me with a beautiful acre that had been abused with trash strewn all over, not a worm or bee in sight. Cleaned up property, put in raised beds, hauled in soil, wood chips, amended with my compost, planted flowers to attract pollinators. I give God all the glory for what my little garden has produced! Just found y'all channel few days ago and really enjoying and talking notes. I love growing tomatoes and corn the most. I grow 200 tomatoes and give away 40-50 plants every year. 8-10 different varieties every year. Still looking to grow my most favorite. I do have my top 3 year after year but add more for excitement.

I grew a 3 pound tomato last year. The variety was Carbon. I love the taste of the black tomatoes. I have been doing 'Back to Eden' with some modifications that work here in the Middle of America. My first garden was 61 years ago when my family planted 3.5 acres. I have a few videos on UA-cam and watch YT for gardening tips and success stories...like yours! I grew a 25 pound sweet potato a few years ago...

I usually tell people that it takes 3 years to build up the soil for a decent garden so please don't be discouraged, keep trying and if you follow our videos I think you'll see improvement in your gardening skills! plus you'll be eating more nutritional food,just being outdoors moving,bending,breathing,stimulating your lymph system all help to improve your health! Just found your channel this morning! Watched the pea episode. Growing in NE Pennsylvania on our .10 acre urban farm 😉 Ramped up the garden and food preservation 2 years ago after tragically losing our oldest grandson. Therapeutic being outside growing nutrient dense organic food for our family and friends. Thank you for your content!

I stumbled across your channel & subscribed after watching just one video. Love your approach to seed starting. I need your Giant Tomato seeds. I can sauce every summer to keep us sustained in pasta recipes all year. Pizza too. Lol. I'm 70 & learned to garden helping out my father when I was 5 years old in a suburban garden outside Chicago, IL. Been gardening ever since. Thanks for sharing your knowledge & videos.
