It's replicated, not copied all over the world. Regenerative agriculture goes a step further.
And actually in the beginning the story goes something like "what is learned in college is no good", when in fact more and more colleges are leaning more to understanding soil microbial life which lends itself to no-dig-organic farming methods, so the facts are that within the scientific community there is more and more evidence that leans away from heavy equipment farming except on very large farms, and using synthetics such as fertilizers/pesticides/herbicides.
The Amish didn't create this system. It's been around for hundreds or even thousands of years depending on the crop.
Grain however is problematic because grain feeds the world its calories and best grown on plots of land that require heavy equipment. It's either that or grains become a lot more expensive.
