On its way to being a full blown track bike by 2025 :) Ohlins up front, rearsets and a track fairing and good to go!
don't need ohlins for the track. especially his skill set. clip ons and rear sets and just set the suspension under your weight. it's very nice just not necessary for the track.
@@russiancommy agree, but you do need them to be full blown by 2025! But talking sensibly yeah sure he doesn't really need anything for track days, could run any 600 stock unless you've got really obvious set up problems. Maybe stronger springs if he's a big guy.

/Protip for ya ~ I always use a short piece of rubber hose to start spark plugs. As long as it's snug on the top half of the plug, you can fish it down to the most hard to reach/cramped spaces, and still have a good feel for starting them by hand and you don't have to worry about dropping it or cross threading it \m/

I had one of those torque wrenches and the same thing happened. I trashed it and bought an old school torque wrench with the bar indicator like grandpa used. Never going back.
he's using a 3/8 drive to do 9ftlb go kick dirt.
I suggest you use brake cleaner to clean all that dry oil and dirt on the frame. It works really good

We’re did you the non universal throttle control assembly??? On domino they have only universal but they have the ability to choose cables for the cbr
thats what it is. thats the only difference. u can use an r6 tube, but cables are a bit short for comfort so getting longer cables and an r6 throttle tube would be the same effect, up to you to pick the route
Great job done! Just a quickly friendly notice: at 9:16 to 9:17 You can hear a ticking noise for a second, it might be faulty CCT.
I left some of the bolts loose from the fairings on the brackets I believe it's just them rattling due to the vibrations. I will keep an eye on it though, thanks for looking out!

It’s only a huge benefit if he is currently pushing that bike to its absolute limits in the corners right now on the track. Otherwise it was a waste of money.

Looks good! Isn't the bike lower now? Thought it looked like the Ohlins was tad shorter then the original one.
Edit: The spring itself is shorter but the overall length is the same I rewatched a few times lol.

Hero.. Im the guy thats been hounding you about buying your RVT. You need an ABBA bike stand dude. I own a vfr800 and a cbr600rr like you and it is the best purchase i ever made.
Not just the stand, I apologize. You need an ABBA sky lift. You can get the mechanics bundle and it comes with adapters for like 50 different bikes
I’ve wanted one for a while but they’re kinda expensive. I recently just bought a tire machine and now looking into a larger trailer haha but eventually I’ll pick one up. 👍
@@HeroRR They are a bit expensive but you and I both do as much of the work as we can before going to a shop and it is worth the price. Reach out to them and see if they will send you one for a review video. You could get it for free.

Lmao it would take like 15k at this point for me to sell it haha. And I know it’s not worth it but that’s just how much I have into it and I’d rather keep it than sell it for like 7k which is on the upper end of what I’d expect to make.
