Use PVC instead of wooded pole and run your tubes through it. No ugly tubes hanging out and no wood rotting in a bucket of water. You can paint the PVC if you don't want white.
@@mitziballs It's just a bunch of soda bottles with twine tied at the neck, hanging on the window grill by s hooks. Aluminum foil and black socks for sunlight protection. The plants go in tiny polymer bound plugs that just fits the bottle mouths and the whole thing is done kratky style. You'll have to do refills once in a while, once a day when a plant is near maturity. I currently have 2 well producing kale, 4 cut and come again lettuce, 4 gai lan, 1 leaf lettuce not big enough to eat from yet, 11 lettuces waiting for transplant and 4 lettuces still germinating.
great video, I did the 2l bottle planting this summer but found it got to dry between waterings, this is a perfect solution..after the rubber stopper:)
