Love it! It makes me wonder if the yeast made a big difference too.

I’ve been sticking with Safale S04 for a while. It seems to do the trick.

Hey Dan, great video! How much of the wild yeast do you add? Any difference between wild yeast and commercial yeast in terms of amount? The last few times we've pressed wild apples, we had to be careful because they always start unexpectedly fermenting!

Oh gosh that’s embarrassing - wrong video with comment……we are watching on the TV 😅

I just add about half an apple every 3 days. You can add less, but wild yeasts take a long time to multiply. Commercial yeast can do far more with far less for sure. Do you guys ever let your wild yeasts go and see what happens?

I just dumped Fermentis - IM-239K-F7BJ-MP Safale US-05 Dry Yeast, 11.5 g into some honey and water in a plastic jug. Will it be good?

Maybe? I’ve never done that exact recipe. Ive found that the quality of honey is one of the biggest factors. Only time will tell. Every recipe and every little change makes a big difference.

@@SustainableDan right on, I'll see what needs to be adjusted in a few weeks. Can you age wine in the fridge?
