Very interesting the sound changed after some use. I wouldn't have expected that. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together! Exactly the result I was hoping for. Definitely ordering one now. Hopefully that's an affiliate link on your other video...
@@FatherOBlivion Not a problem at all 😎👍 Yes most exhausts do have a bed in period so the sound changes slightly after burn in. I'm surprised this exhaust actually did that as my expectations were fairly low to be honest. But it's currently behaving and sounding like a much more expensive product 😅. Haha no affiliate links, I'm not that famous 😂 just like to help people find a good deal. Cheers!
I wasn't expecting the Ali-Express version of the S1 to be this quiet with the baffle in. I've got the "real" sc project S1 on mine, and I haven't removed the baffle yet because even with it, that sucker is loud AF, I even had a not so friendly chat with a motorcycle cop while riding because of the noise level, the guy pulled along side me to tell me the baffle was not in (it was....), so I had to explain to him that he was wrong, fun time.
Wow ok thats pretty insane if the real one is still super loud with the baffle in. Does the real SC also have 2 cats in the link pipe like the AliExpress one?
Thank you for taking the time to do the comparison, it is appreciated. There was no need to have the 765 re tuned ? Some say the bike will re tune itself if the change is a minor one. We must also remember that if it was purchased from "Aliexpress" it will obviously be a " copy" of the genuine item. Thanks again. Regards,John ( Based in England)
@@CarrieWright-j5x Not a problem 👍 As far as I'm aware when just changing the slip on the bike won't require a retune as the cat in the headers is still in place and this link pipe has 2 additional cats as well, with a long bend, so a lot of the back pressure is kept, which is why I went for this one in particular. I did flash the Arrow Map onto my bike so it is essentially tuned for an aftermarket exhaust already. Ideally I'd suggest atleast flashing a map that is tuned for a slip on onto the bike when changing out exhausts. Cheers!
Thank you! Support is very good, we have a great dealer in the city that is super helpful and friendly, honestly probably the best dealer in SA. Rad the Trident is very fun as well as the 765, quite a bit different but both equally as awesome.
@andreas.619 Ya you can pick up a 2012 or so str for around 60k ish. Or a slightly newer 2016 for around 85-90k. Either will be a nice upgrade from the g310 😅

are loud exhausts in Cape Town illegal? Curious as I'll be moving back soon
Not at all, no one really cares, cops are more interested in licence discs, drivers licence and numberplates.
