Don Mattingly deserves a chance in the Bronx.
No ….David Cone
@@dgcmusi I would say Coney for pitching coach if Matt Blake wasn't our most valuable coaching asset.
He doesn’t want that job, if he’s smart. The expectation level will be above the reality.
Josh Donaldson pimping almost HRs and getting thrown out - No motivation and accountability from Boone to him on those
Why would there be? He apparently knows Boone will keep playing him.
they play who they pay.
If you see with your own eyes a player not doing well on the field you put them on the bench Boone has to go the end.
I completely agree. I've never seen a Yankees team quit like it appears this one has. This NEVER would have happened under Torre!
Torre wouldn't even had a chance to dressed it George would have it completely under his control .....
I would agree
Even with 2004 the Yankees still were hitting better than this team in games 4-7.
Even Girardi's teams played hard for him
Something else baffles me, all year Boone said according to their team analytics IKF was among the best shortstops in baseball, so NOW you bench him for a rookie? You benched Peraza at the end of the season then wanna throw him in big time play off games after getting no playing time? The team doesn't trust or play hard for Boone, we all can see it, they've gotta make a lot changes or the stadium is gonna be half empty, nobody is buying the BS Cashman and Boone are selling anymore
100% agree. In the post game interviews Clay and Cole both showed confusion and anger towards Boone. Even the players are turning on him
Completely agree with you. Rizzo or Judge hitting lead off? Are you kidding me? Why is Donaldson on this team? Time for Boone and Cashman to go. The roster construction was atrocious. Get rid of the drift wood (Donaldson, Hicks, etc) and let the kids play.
Our 2 lead off hitters are hurt. Benny and/or DJ would be batting lead off. It's easy to just say fire him but it's so lazy to just say that when the team has been injured. Cashman is more to blame.
Jim, you have a great point. However, they have hurt guys too, yet they are one game away to the World Series. The criticism should be spread around to the whole organization from the front office down to the players.
@@juanmayet1729 Don't be mad at Boone because our players can't hit. IKF is the best hitter this postseason that is a problem. Regardless of where they hit in the order not 1 person on their team is doing their job besides Gerrit Cole.
@@dukedematteo1995 Michael Brantley, one of their best hitters is hurt. They have a bevy of young pitchers that they were counting on that are on the 60 day il. Yordan Alvarez, their big bopper as well as Jose Altuve are both mired in slumps. The bottom part of the Astros lineup has been has been the most productive.
@@joebo1499 Joe, you are right. Boone is the easiest target, but that does not solve the problem which you have stated, they are not hitting.
I saw a tweet that perfectly described the Yankees under Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman. They're built to get to October, but they aren't built to win in October
The Fact that Cashman & Boone will still have a job if we lose makes me sad to see the lack of accountability!
its easy to impress an owner who doesnt watch any games
Reggie Jackson once said the .most important person in your organization is the owner in other words were screwed
Derek, I have a question that maybe you can answer. I am still fuming from yesterday's game where Gleyber Torres had a 3-1 count and swung at ball 4 when they were down by 5 runs. I talk all the time about baseball IQ and Torres' lack of it drives me nuts. So my question is: Isn't that really on Boone? Can't the manager simply signal the batter to take a pitch? You correctly pointed out yesterday that a homerun means absolutely nothing in that situation so why the hell is Gleyber swinging for the fences? It's just not smart baseball.
Yea. The manager can send a take sign
I have supported Boone all year and now I think now may be the time to release him from our pain. Throwing players under the bus, horrible bullpen usage, and a different lineup every day just fir starters. Yankees are done and it's a real shame after all the promise they showed. I will never discard the Yankees but with the Cashman - Boone drama it's depressing.
Cashman, Boone, Hicks & Donaldson. That's the golfing foursome right there.
You don't have a middle reliever and closer, starting pitching is suspect and no reliable left hand hitter.
release the whole dam team
The bullpen is not horrible, it's that Boone burnt out the bullpen again. Using 6 pitchers in a nine inning game is just ridiculous.
@@johndirado7210 I meant his usage of the bullpen. I remember Joe Torre shortened a few guys careers by overusing them
The NyPost's Dillon Lawsom article from this morning says it all. The hitting issues with this team are an organizational issue. Begins and ends with Cashman.
Especially when that's not how the team got scorching hot the first half of the season.
BINGO….Brian Cashman is the one who assembled this team. They have no real contact hitters to help manufacture runs
@@MikeHart72 the contact hitters are hurt
@@Bearsfan15654 oh wow the only 2 contact hitters we have on this team are injured 😢 oh well better just give up
Cashman has to go but we know it won't happen.
If Boone is making these line-up moves independently, they’re terrible, fire him.
If Boone is listening to the analytics office and STILL unwilling to say, “No,” fire him. Nice guy but it’s not working.
MATTINGLY.
Donnie needs to come home.
If they bring Cashman and Boone back next year, I'm checking out.
100%
I’ve been saying the exact same thing.
If do that again i will not see a yankee and will not going yo the park again.
SAME HERE. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.
same here.
There is another factor involved in the Yankees's potential demise: Too much dependence on Analytics. If the Yankees fire Cashman and Boone and still depend on Analytics to make up their rosters and lineups the problem remains.
Dumb comment. If they were more analytical they’d be more like the Guardians, get men on base, steal, be efficient, and go deep when it’s available. They sign over the hill players and value power more than contact. The Astros also have record setting pitching and no one is focusing on that.
@@brandonman1315 I didn't say shut down the Analytics Department,. I'm pointing out the PEOPLE there might not be competent. Think before you type, Einstein
@@vincentsaia6545 "too much dependence on analytics" you meaning analytica PEOPLE wasn't obvious. Maybe write it better next time instead of projecting on a commentor Einstein
@@willkeener3090 No, I meant Too much dependence on Analytics and the Analytics people NOT IGNORING OR SHUTTING THE ANALYTICS DEPARTMEN DOWN. Maybe you should develop better reading habits, troll.
@@willkeener3090 On second thought, you're right Willy. How could I be so ungrateful to that Analytics Department who told us to get all those right-handed hitters who can't run and the front office that blindly went along with it?
If there ever was a guy that needs to be fired,it's him
They should hire David Cone….this guy knows the game and they would show total respect and would play hard for him…
I will never forgive cashman for disparage gio when he said in an interview that gio wasn't josh donaldson well this is what you get when you commited a big mistake like this
Well he was halfway right, Gio isn't Donaldson because JD is a bum.
Don Mattingly is available and should be the next Yankee manager. 🤞
I'd give him a shot no doubt
My husband (who doesn’t care about the Yankees but supports me) absolutely RANTS about Boone and the decisions he makes on pitching and lineup. He’s always asking IS HE TRYING TO LOSE?! He has no stake so it really hits when he says it. Furthermore, when you truly lose the clubhouse there’s no going back. He’s got to go. But I doubt he will.
half of our pitchers were hurt so I don’t see the blame on Boone, he isn’t the one pitching and swinging the bat, it’s that simple, Boone just working with what he got , cash man needs to either gtfo there or start making good decisions
@@boguy3242 He’s the one deciding who to put in the game though and continuously putting in Clark Schmidt in tight situations is not the answer. Dude always gives up the lead. And continuing to PH Carpenter is not the answer either. I love Carp, he was great prior to his IL stint but he just hasn’t been the same since. And as mentioned in the video, IKF should be at 3rd and Donaldson riding the bench.
The injuries don’t fall on Boone (obviously) but questionable lineups, questionable pitching decisions/bullpen management, players unmotivated and unmoved, that falls on the manager.
You have “The Hitman” Donnie Baseball sitting down in Florida waiting for his phone to ring. He never had the talent or fan support in Miami yet his players always played “hard” for him. He knows how to play small ball. Hal Steinbrenner should reach out and welcome him home!
he couldn't win with the Dodgers, like I said we need someone new with no ties to this organization
When you compare the two franchises, I think the biggest difference is that the Astros allowed themselves to completely bottom out (they had three seasons in a row in the early 2010s where they barely won 30 percent of their games, and that's just horrific) and then rebuilt from scratch using stockpiled picks from trades and being able to reap the benefits of all that losing by getting top draft picks. The Yankees don't have that luxury being who they are, and have to just retool their roster on the fly constantly while continuing to have winning seasons (they haven't had a losing season in 30 years). So the Yankees are really good every season and a contender, but they just lack the overall organizational depth and the ability to fill holes with elite, hungry, young players who were all brought up in the same baseball culture and philosophy like with the Astros. There's a limit to how many free agents you can bring in that make a difference. The Yankees' strategy can work, and has worked in the past, but it's not nearly as reliable. I truly wonder if they'd be better off just tanking and bottoming out, and building something really special that's sustainable for a decade like what the Astros did.
Boone should've never been resigned to begin with
agree with you 100%. i've been a Yankees fan for over 40 years and if Boone and Cashman are still employed in 2023, my support will definitely wane. Not saying i'm going to go root for another team but i'm not going to invest as much time tuning into the games as i have in years past.
Really good points, Derek; and in general, I think you are right. In my view, if Boone goes, so should most of the front office; otherwise nothing will really change (but as you said, that is a whole different video). However, I would not be surprised if the ownership changes nothing manager/front-office wise. In stead they will blame the poor performance on the players. At best they will try to lock Judge into a record-breaking deal and leave everything else pretty much the same. From Hal's point of view, the team is profitable, competitive, and relevant. So why mess up a good thing?
When you look at the lineups and the pitching staff of these 2 teams it looks like Houston has an pretty big advantage in both. That is based on a small difference of 2 million in salary. What does that tell us? That the Houston front office knows what they are doing and the Yankees front office less so. Does that sound fair? As for Boone, I agree, he seems done with this squad. It looks like he's a HS teacher the week before summer break. He just wants them to leave already. If the next game or two go as it looks like they will the Yankees should clear house. Get rid of Boone, Cashman and most of the players and start a solid rebuild based around the rookies that appear quite solid.
Moving players in position and line up has been a pet peeve of mine since the beginning of the season. I'm surprised they made it this far.
The batting order is flawed and it's on Boone.
This is that moment where Boone needs to ask the players, as well as upper management needing to ask Boone, "Why are you even here (in the postseason)?"
When you’re loosing, nothing seems to go right.
Absolutely right. I was shocked to see Gleyber taunt the Guardians at the end of the ALDS. Definitely not the Yankee way.
I’ve never liked Boone’s decision making. And frankly, while no manager is ever gonna be perfect but I’ve been praying for Mattingly now for well over a decade. Baseball lifer and wouldn’t put up with the crap some players pull.
Donnie Baseball - his time has come
talk to Dodgers fans, he is terrible too, he failed there and in Miami, we need someone that has no ties to this team
@@slappymcgillicuddy7532 - the numbers at Miami are excellent.
NL manager of the year
Led Marlins to Wild Card appearance.
He had never managed before the Dodgers.
The key is that his players love playing for him. With the talent that the Yankees have and can acquire, Donnie baseball is the man for the job.
Check some of the players he has developed at his time in Miami...
When things aren't going well, the call for heads is inevitable. Maybe Boone needs to go, but that is not the problem with this team. This is a marginal team. When you have marginal players you have shift the roster to try to get wins. If he played the same roster game after game and still loses, then you would be calling to fire him for not making changes to try to win. Monday morning coaching is easy. Doing it on the field, not so much.
This fan base don’t deserve what it’s going through right now, changes need to be made!!
I must say, I disagree.
Yankees fans throw stuff at players, throw stuff at opposing fans, boo their best player even though he's the main reason they're in the playoffs, and also broke a big time record this year, chant obscene things at a guy like Jose Altuve who is probably the least deserving player of something like that, over something he didn't even do.
I'm not saying every Yankees fan is like that, but that mentality rears it's ugly head every time I see Yankees fans anywhere.
@sk1nz28 I'm no Stan. I'm no Stan at all.
But it's just facts. You don't have to like it, but I see it pretty much every time I watch a game with the Yankees in it.
I have good friends of mine who are Yankees fans, and I really appreciate the passion. But it gets taken too far unless the Yankees are up by 5 or more.
@sk1nz28 that’s not true at all NY does have the worst fans in sports they are disgusting nasty people who have very little happiness in life that the only little joy they do have gets ruined they take it out on both teams
I Don't Feel Bad For The Fanbase They Deserved What They Got F****k Them All
@sk1nz28 So you think arguing that,”oh these teams are worse!” Is a valid excuse? That’s some next level stupid. I’m not an astros fan, I agree with the second comment. Yankees fans are obnoxious and deserve every bit of this.
There are many reasons other than Boone for what transpired this season, but Boone's issues - the horrific bullpen management, the lineup changes, the non-communication, etc. - are so severe that no team could win a WS under him.
It was pointed out yesterday that Dusty Baker's lineup for batters 1 thru 5 doesn't change. Something can be said for consistency in the lineup. Boone's lineup decisions simply made no sense. It what world is Rizzo a leadoff hitter? smh
Dusty Baker Would've Had Judge Batting 4th Since Dusty Knows Judge Is An Power Hitter
I agree the chemistry on this teams just not there. Poor management. Poor roster construction. We need a big change if we ever want to win the big number 28
You should make a video about Cashman being fired.
Time to rebuild this team needs ❤️ and fire 🔥 cashman needs to go.
The problem is it all starts at the top. If you remove Boone cashman will just bring in Boone 2.0. You need to clean house to move forward.
The organization needs an overhaul top to bottom. I don't see Hal making that move however. He seems to view the team as an investment rather than a team that's supposed to be built to win rather than just turn a profit. Boone is a middling manager at best.Cashman has proven over the last 2+ decades he can't put a championship team together without spending big. Even then he still had the core 4. He also handpicked Boone who's failed as well.
That’s what happens when you prioritize guys that can hit 340 ft HRs. You get atrocious contact and set postseason strikeout records. Maybe you can pull that off in the regular season. But against the best pitchers in the league, they’ll gut you.
Quick question: Do you think Boone pulled Cole too quickly in that last game?
If I had known that the entire team would only muster TWO hits you could have pulled him after the first pitch. It wouldn't have mattered.
@@thekingofbohemia1 🤣😭
8 times out of 10 Girardi got timely calls right. 7 times out 0f 10 Boone gets tough situation calls wronge.
This team is built for the regular season but when it goes up against the better pitching in the playoffs it fails and will always fail if Cashman keeps trying to live and die on the HR
Dude I agree 1000%, this is not only Pride but it’s a business, and with the old man, he was a winner. Hal needs to be Alpha like his dad. Shrude ,wise and assertive. I predict he will Go, then maybe Cashman.
Boone should of been fired a while back. It's not so much the different lineups he has going for the squad (his lineups are pretty consistent) it's where the players are placed. Example, Rizzo batting 1st and Judge batting 2nd.....90/95 home runs combined in the 1 and 2 spot They should be batting 3 and 4 or 4 and 5. Then you have Torress and Carpenter batting 4 and 5, combined 45/50 home runs. Boone has this lineup so messed up, its actually quite sad that Yanks front office is allowing this lineup to be drawn out and handed to the ump. You have a guy (Aaron Judge) batting 2 like what the..People say he would get more bats, thats bs. When was the last time we have seen Judge hit a 3 run home run, it's been a while. Last time I checked how you win a baseball game is you are suppose to score more runs than the other team. Judge comes up and hit a home run but its a solo shot, 1-0. Imagine if he was in the 4th spot with 1 or 2 guys on, 2-0, 3-0 lead. Just please take a look at the lineup that Boone penciled in last night 10/22 vs Houston, it goes against baseball strategy for more than 100 years of play.
You're spot on with each of your points. Aaron Boone is a joke of manager. As I've said on multiple channels now, if the Yankees don't have a miraculous comeback and Boone is still the manager next year, I'm parting ways with the team until they replace him. (And I've been a lifelong Yankee fan, since about the mid '90s.) The truth is, a competent organization would fire Boone even if they DID pull off a miracle and win it all. Because at this point the team would need to do it *despite* Boone, not because of him. And Cashman is a joke at this point too, with this deeply flawed team that has been put together - not built for playoff baseball against the best teams with the best pitching.
I'm just finished taking this franchise seriously when they're clearing not serious about winning a World Series, despite their empty claims to the contrary.
I knew this would come back and hurt them (different line-ups) and going after all these "big names" that were at some point MVPs, All Starts, Gold Gloves etc. He moved Judge to leadoff just to give him extra at Bats to chase the HR record. Well he got that, but now what?? The Yankees got good SS's waiting in the pipelines. Give the kids a chance to play, bat and build their confidence.
Boone is not there to motivate players, but to put them in positions to win games. Being in the playoffs should be motivation enough. Boone reminds me of Bill Belichick. Boone depends on his staff to give him the right information to make decisions. There is a chain of command and how information gets filtered to Boone is the problem. He can’t be expected to micro-manage players. Bill Belichick and Boone are cut from same mold.
I have tried to support Boone and all but he’s really shown some moves this season and last couple of seasons that even reporters wouldn’t even make. I also think our discipline stinks. Oh and one more thing when you have a team like the Astros constantly whipping you and you make excuses like the roof or Bader not knowing he’s leading off Game2, that’s a fireable offense.
Boone you can tell has lost the clubhouse house and the sad part about this is that he’ll be back as the manager along with Cashman. Yankees will not be going anywhere if these two guys are back and Hal needs to wake up and see that!
I can’t really think who can actually replace him
He is not only not being fired .. yankees front Office are not make much moves on FA or trade market . Its my feeling :((
Probably not. They don’t wanna spend that 💰💰💰.
@@someoneyoudontknow7705 and the Next season its going to be like this . 90-94 regular season wins and goodbye at Wild card Game probably ... Must be necesary some changes ... If not .. this franchise are lose for year
He shouldn't been named the manager in the first place.
The Yankees had played around 200 games this year including spring training regular season and playoffs and today is the last game and Boone doesn't know who is the shortstop.
I can reach to Tony Peña, what do you think my fellows Yankees fans?
Hey guys, Hal Steinbrenner here, you know, I really don't make that much more money if my team gets to the World Series. I was just counting the receipts and I gotta tell ya, with the seats at the Stadium sold out I am rolling in your cash. Thanks a lot. We'll do it again next year.
With ALL this said. Makes you womder if Aaron Judge would even want to sign with the Yankess if Boone is still around.
You hit it right in the head I'm behind you 100% on everything you said!!!! 👌
Don Mattingly for manager
It’s almost like Boone is betting AGAINST the Yankees and he’s working to win that bet.
EXACTLY!!! THAT'S HOW ITS FELT TO ME!! HIS ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN HIS WORDS!!
Well said Great video 🔥
Cashman knew they should of traded Chapman when he had the chance to he failed to get the job done.
I think the trades this mid season were to bolster the team for the playoffs and that didn't pan out except for Bader. I don't know if Boone should be fired or not because I think Cashman is more responsible. He had a great run but for the past couple of years he seems tired and unresponsive to the needs of the team. What we need is to get Theo Epstein to come here. He worked wonders for two teams, red sox and Cubs: I mean is there a better recommendation, two WS wins for two historically loser teams? And as far as the fans concern you have to factor in the booing of Aaron Judge. That's just plain stupidity despite the teams horrible showing so far this season. You have to take fans' advice (including mine) with a grain of salt.
How do you take out your ace at 95 pitches and hand the ball to Trevino to save your season?
This team essentially runs its self and they got this far imagine if the had a real coach
Who is the batting coach he should be the first to go.
This is a new hitting coach😂but it’s the same outcome every year. I believe at this point it’s not just coaching a lot of the blame should be on the players to. These are all or nothing hitters, we need more hitters like Steven Kwan from the Cleveland Guardians
Jeter as new GM and Mattingly as new manager. Both know how to win and please the fans. Jeter would’ve signed Harper and Machado, while Mattingly would help with the motivation issues, as well as say something MEANINGFUL in the press conferences
Mattingly have a chance with Yankees and Jetter like management, not good.
With Marlins he sucks
I must say as a lifelong Yankees fan that Dusty Baker is managing rings around Aaron Boone, and it shows - I really think that Dusty Baker doesn’t get enough credit.
Dusty is a baseball lifer and is a damn good manager. He has a great chance to win a championship. I can't stand the Astros but I have been a fan of Baker for a long time. He actually has a higher winning percentage than Buck Showalter.
They need someone like Terry Francona that’s who I would get to run this team
He would NEVER go to New York.
The fact that they continue to play Donaldson and not Peraza is really a mistake
Honestly ya , this isn’t entirely his fault but this is definitely time needs to go to send a message
The only way this will change is by fans not coming to yankee stadium.
The team is being led by a melatonin tablet. It's a complete breakdown of trust in the coaching team seen in real time. Oh because the roof was open, oh they got lucky, oh because a bird flew by and looked at me funny. I'm really surprised he hasn't blamed climate change or Obama care yet.
I’ve been yankee fan for 33 years this team has talent ,they need leadership. This team should be at hitting practice from 7 am till the game it’s embarrassing. Sad
The only way I bring Boone back is if Judge says that's the only way he signs and then we can fire him the next season
They won't fire Boone because they are gonna say they are surprised they got this far during a roster turnover. Boone should be fired for his inability to set lineups and manage bullpen. We have holes in our lineup. Catcher, RF, SS, 3RD and our bullpen needs help. I knew we were no match for Atros. I do think Nasty Nestor will win today but after that its over. I would love nothing more to come back from 0-3 but we don't have the horses.
RF?
Unfortunately Nestor can't get on base and move batters over.
@@boltonyankee Very true. I am banking on his energy to wake up the bats to salvage some dignity.

I’m going to love this video
I knew we had no chance against Houston
Donaldson really pisses me off. Pimping singles off the wall all year. An automatic out. This team has some good players but the HR or nothing approach when all you need is a ground ball to score a run just blows my mind
I think your right on point Derek…What they have been doing since 2009 is not working…Look at the teams that are winning…It’s time to move on with this current baseball mindset of the Yankees…
The major issue now is the lineup management and bullpen management. There is no trust of the managers/players. Everything is under the analytics. The good thing happens from 2022 is that Yankees can really clean up its mess and change the way it manage the players development and definitely the minor leagues. Boone and Cashman really has to go.
I don't see how any batting order will create runs without hits. The roster kept changing because people were moving back and forth on the DL . Bases loaded no outs!! Is there any choice that a coach makes that is likely to keep runs from scoring especially the Astros. In the very middle of this season the manager was a genius and now he is an idiot. What changed other than the outcome.? If the criteria for coaches is outcome then fire every coach with a below average year. I am in no position to judge coaches. Seems like a team with 99 wins and a revision playoff some of that is about good coaching.
the way Boone handle the pitcher staff he trust no one in the pitching staff from one one. if Boone is gone who will you want to replace him?
Here's the main thing: Five years ago, the Yanks under Joe Girardi, took Houston to 7 games. Not only have they not come close, they've gotten progressively worse. This sweep marks the failure of the Aaron Boone/ Brian Cashman era.
Hal sees this as a business, as long as poeple show up to games he will keep going with Cashman and Boone, hes made it clear at this point he does not care about winning a world series.
Us the fans totally agree with this video, he needs to asap alongside Cashman.
They need to get rid of the analytical team. Feels like the analytics team on every other team is better than the Yankees. Firing just the manager won't do much because they'll just do the same thing Boone does
You hit the nail on the head.
I've had it with them!!! They're great when they beat the weaker teams but can't beat the better teams. Boone & the rest of the coaching staff should be fired. I can't see Judge leading off. So he hits a homerun leading off. That's only one run.
You’re 100% right at all levels, but the Yankees to see a World Series ever again Cashman needs to go as well and unfortunately I don’t see any changes in the Yankees future it’s going to be the same lame BS again next season :(
Thanks good video will update my membership today but Boone not going anywhere
I never would've hired Boone!🤔😡Joe G took a less talented team to within 1gane of the World Series and got Fired😠Boone has been a useful Tool of The Front Office and All Important Analytics squad in the back room...
Adios Boone!
he wasn’t cashmans puppet that’s why he got fired.
Y’all go through this every year with him… as a Braves fan you’re going through exactly what we did for years not being able to get through the dodgers, it happens
Last night Aaron Boone gave up.
How about Boone texting IKF to tell home he was benched.
Is this a true players manager?
Boone has to go
Wow, didn’t know about that. What a manager 😒.
I agree with decision making that Aaron boon should be fired for poor management.
But I believe where it should all start is with Mr Brian Cashman.
The Yankees need to start exiting from the top of management.
Hal Steinbrenner needs to man up and start showing what it's like to own a franchise team like his father George steinbrenner did. I can only imagine how George Steinbrenner must be feeling rolling in this grave pissed off at the Yankees organization. Lets be honest, as long as we continue to have Brian Cashman in charge, the epidemic won't go away!
What you said, I've been saying it for the last 3 years, now.
And what’s sad is judge finna become a free agent just to end the season like this smh if they lose judge it’s over
I agree. He carried the team all year.
I think they should fire Aaron Boone and bring in a new manager
Take Cashman with him. Also would rather have Hank running things over Hal. Hal seems passive. Hank was more aggressive in his short time calling the shots. Hank more like his father. We need that take no shit mentality.
First, Cashman is the guilty of all this. For me Boone is not the guilty, Cashman is the one that decided to trade for IKF and Donaldson. Pass on Machado and Rodon.
Breaking news!! Aaron Boone is going to be batting me leadoff tonight and a random fan will be playing SS.
