What kind of RTT changes have you made?
My straps have dry rot. Any ideas for how to resew those back onto the cover?

So crazy, I bought all items (cobra buckles and straps) to install on RTT this weekend- i thought it was my own idea, and then I saw your video- and you had the same idea!! My only worry is the buckle coming undone on the highway, then flopping around into a window and shattering it.

Good video and definitely a problem. I went with canoe or kayak you down straps. They have rubber to cover the buckle to not damage to boat/tent and are also UV rated so they don't deteriorate as fast.

Those cobra buckles are typically used for carry belts and certain work belts. Very high quality
How have these been holding up??
Cobra buckle came from parachute rigs, they will hold up. Also I took my nylon strap to a local shoe repair and they stitched it for me, I don’t trust my hand sewing.
