Woman From Tokyo
When a Blind Man Cries
Flight of the Rat
Deep Purple is to good, "Highway Star" is one of my top 10 all time favorite songs. "Smoke on the Water" another amazing classic, written about a FRANK ZAPPA show that ended in the entire venue/casino catching fire. What a more fitting way to introduce yourself to some Zappa. Which I'm still here for!
Yes Zappa-cosmik debris!
So many Zappa songs to react to. Maybe start with Don't Eat The Yellow Snow?
@@jameskirschling7887 haha he might as well just do the entire albums of apostrophe, one size fits all and overnight sensation as a start. 😆
@@kevingruenofficial One Size Fits All is my favorite Zappa album so I'm good with him starting with that album. 😂
ITS TIME
I love the classical elements of the music, in this song. Ritchie Blackmore was one of the first guitarists to bring that into rock music. One of my all time favourite guitarists.
Next up, Deep Purple's "You Fool No One" from the same album.
one of the best songs by deep purple. and coverdale/hughes are in my opionion the best duet ever.
That inspired Me to go watch Glenn Hughes live shows. On here
Usually I don't really enjoy watching reaction videos to music but my god you are the best! You are the only guy I've seen do this stuff that understands the music! Your talking bout the musical stank face and swinging to that deep purple! LOVE.
Queens of the Stone Age “I sat by the ocean” or “the way you use to do”
Queens of the stone age is a definite
Ian Paice is the most underrated drummer of all time. He is unbelievable. This song proves it!
You enjoy live performances there is one of this song from the Cal jam that will knock your socks off. For some more DP try out 'Woman From Tokyo', 'Highway Star' or 'Knockin at Your Backdoor.'
I love your open minded enthusiasm. I need to be more of that, myself. Thanks for your ability to appreciate. This track has been dear to my heart since '76 when I discovered it. I learned that guitar solo note for note and play it a few times a year just because. All band members were monsters on their instruments.
Oh man, you've got to do "Mistreated" off this same album. Sooo good.
Live, yo. California Jam.
Yes, what a JOURNEY we have been on! it's a journey again to see some of these old songs I sort of forgot about over the years. And its so cool to see someone enjoy them for the first time. I remember exactly where I was the first time I ever heard this song. It was on an 8 track tape cassette in the back of my dad's Chevy Impala as we were doing a road trip to Reno Nevada up HWY 395... surrounded by mountains and desolation,
as i was trying to learn how to play poker with my older brother. I was 8 years old!
needless to say, i remember playing this song over and over again.
I would definately like to see you do "Pictures of Home"
Savoy Brown very underrated ! Please a reaction to "I'm Tired" and or "Hellbound Train" you won't be disappointed
Deep Purple was my favorite band in my teens and 20's going forward and Led Zeppelin was my 2nd favorite. Saw DP Mach 2, Aug 1972, Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, and 1974 saw DP Mach 3 in Cleveland!! Absolutely ass kicking!!!! Saw Led 1973 and 75. Led had no warm up band, they played over 3 hours at both concerts! OMG both groups absolutely killer live. 10 times better live than in the studio and the studio albums were kick ass!
great Deep Purple songs Anyone's Daughter,Fireball,A Strange Kind of woman,Demon's eye,Never Before,Pictures of Home,Highway Star (A must hear cruising song),Lazy,Space Truckin',Anya,My woman from Tokyo,Mistreated also check into Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow
There Is a reason they were in the Guiness book of world records as loudest band for years! Hit ALL the DP collection.
Who remembers hodrods, hot women, cold beer, good friends+field parties rockn to this in high school in the 80's!!??😉
Mid 70's, not 80's. But always great.
True, it is a great, intense journey. And both solos in this song are breathtaking! Thank you for the nice video, as usual!
Great reaction - definitely check out 'Speed King' and 'Hard Lovin' Man' from the album 'Deep Purple in Rock' - they will blow you away.
Thank God someone mentioned ' speed king.'
That smile when you heard the opening riff made me happy. I did the same thing the first time I heard this song.
"Child' doesn't rhyme with 'burn'". ;^)
Or learn or return for that matter.
@Paul Provenzano It's 'SPAWN' not spem!!! Devil's spawn - scans and makes sense.
@@peterwilliams8922 he missed a 4 suggestive rhymes for burn, : worm , squirm, firm, germ
@@peterwilliams8922 It really is Devil's sperm. It's written on the vocal scores, so I mean...you can't argue with that.
I had always thought it was 'devil spawn' until I tried it on karaoke years ago...
so much talent and their songs showcased all of it.
This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✌️
This song “attacks” my senses. I was sweating afterwards. Love it.
Give a listen to Deep Purple's "Woman From Tokyo"
You right man Don t forget woman from Tokyo
Perfect Stranger one of those their last album's Perfect Stranger that is a classic
I always thought it said "devils spawn"
Same here.
Deep purple "Mistreated" Live at California Jam or the Studio version, Choose you poison. Pure "Blues love essence". You will never forget it.
Sniff ‘n’ the Tears - Driver’s Seat - long version
Sweet - Love is Like Oxygen - long version

Deep Purple - Highway Star ... you gots'ta
..they used "devils sperm" because "devil's child" doesn't rhyme with burn.😃
This one is THE BEST song in the history of the universe. PERIOD. PERIOD.
Do Stormbringer next, best and funkiest Deep Purple album IMO
For Mark 2...
What kind of pot do you smoke to find any funk in "Storm bringer"??
@@jeremieyvars6888 Glenn Hughes is funk bassist
The bass during ritchie’s guitar solo on “gypsy” is amazing
When I searched for Deep Purple on your channel, this was the first one I had to listen to. This is such an incredible album. What a fantastic lineup, and for my money, David Coverdale was one of the finest rock vocalists ever.
My favorite DP album is actually there last if the 70's with Tommy Bolin(replaced Bkackmore) on guitar. Album " Come Taste thw Band".
Check "Dealer".
jgsrhythym 100 I got to see the Come Taste the Band tour in February 1976, just 19 days before they called it quits. I've been a fan of Tommy for years, so CTTB is one of my favorite Deep Purple albums. Poor Tommy, the guy who replaced not one, but two, of rocks best guitar players during the 70's in Joe Walsh and Ritchie, but he just couldn't beat his demons. I was extremely bummed when he died.
Jamel, the drumming on this song is MONSTER!! Ian Paice is just all over the kit on this song! Badass!
Definitely check out some live versions with Glenn Hughes. His vocals are unmatched live
His acoustic version of Mistreated... Whoa! haha
@Cortland Johansen you have to check out Black Country Communion. Glenn Hughes sounds like he's 21, plus there's Joe Bonamassa on guitar and Jason Bonham on drums. 4 studio and 1 live album so far. The first one is phenomenal.
@@guillermo3564 agreed! Everyone in that band is phenomenal
