I’ll never tire of seeing Ireland through your lens. It’s the next best thing to being there. Love the history and humour and it’s great to see your animation. Sound is surprisingly good without a dead cat 👍🏼 Brilliant video, Bullet.
I lived in Belfast and Dundalk for 4 years and moved out in 2020. I've lived in pretty much every continent and nothing gave me a sense of belonging like Ireland. Your videos are a portal for me to travel the roads of Ireland without being there. Keep wandering Branden.
Yeah!!!! Thanks for the update and video. Always interested in viewing towns. Oh yeah I had one of those VW wagons. Great little car. Like a tank and you would be surprised how much stuff you can jam in the back.
I do love a video with a story behind it. It’s always nice to learn something and it definitely adds to the experience. A bike is an excellent medium to deliver the narrative and experience. Well it is when you do it so well. Would I like more? Definitely 👍 cheers 😊
Here in Minnie Cold Duh (Minnesota) we already been visited by O'Man Winter with a snow fall.... our brilliant-colored leaves now crunch underfoot.... we awake to frosty mornings..... I bought a new windshield ice scraper... in a few short weeks our mornings will be 20-24 degrees below zero... but this week the weather clowns report a warm spell.... 50-60's... I think I'll fire up my 500 Classic and find a cup of coffee and piece of pie along the Muddy Miss. (Mississippi River)... and do proceed and go for your animation projects... Good Luck.... :)
Sounds like you get a proper snowy Christmas ! Here it’s usually just wet and windy, rarely have I seen snow at Christmas … probably for the best so I can still get Daisy home for the holidays 😂 cheers Mike !
Well Brendan lovely to see you back on the old interweb you have been missed. We know you are very busy with the new job, congratulations by the way. Hopefully we will get to see more in the future. If possible maybe you could give a breakdown on the costs of your foreign trips. Take care and be safe. Ron Evans.
The curent number plates in ireland came in in 1987. That vintage car i tink was a vw .and the style number plate is corect for the 70s ,white on front and red on back with raised plastic numbers an letters. Some were pressed aluminum plates in the corect colours.
Great to see a new video, been watching you for a few months now , really enjoying watching them , and have now bought a 2016 classic 500 , not sure if I should thank you or not lol , time will tell 😊
I have one of the new 350 Bullets matey! Great bike. I wouldn’t expect you to change yours but I would be interested to see you test ride one. Thanks for the videos 😅
Congrats on the new 350! Which colour did you go for? 😁 If I had the opportunity, I'd be delighted to give one a test ride and compare the two. Unfortunately there's just the two RE dealers in Ireland, both quite a distance from me and i'm not sure they do test rides 🤔
@@BulletWanderer the black and gold pinstripes and bare metal engine. I didn’t fancy the all black. Very comfy so far. I did love my classic 500 but the new Bullet was the right choice
I still film on my phone and after trying others's recommended external microphones with dead cat, I found I can reduce 90% of wind noise by putting a bit of tape over the top mic.
Spooky social media !. I kid you not I was just typing in messenger to see if you were alive and your video notification popped up. Good to see you back. Don’t know if it’s good video content but you’ve never discussed the kick start, as I remember. I’ve had Bella the bullet a few weeks and a week or so ago I thought I should learn how to kick start her. I watched a couple of videos for technique and gave it a go. Nothing I did worked and I was baffled. I did a bit of research and discovered bizarrely you need to good battery for the kick start to function. It seems weird as I always thought the kick start was a completely secondary back up starting system. Apparently no! Don’t know if it’s something you could ask viewers in a video?
Cheers Ryan! On my Summer 2022 trip I was having a few battery issues with Daisy and had to learn to get good with the kick start, which 70% of the time worked 😅 Particularly in this video: ua-cam.com/video/39lgP7nY_2M/v-deo.html , she always did eventually tick over and get going, I guess the frantic kicking charged the voltage a tiny bit. Sometimes getting her going from a run down a hill was all I could do too 😂 I think its a bit of perseverance and luck. Once I got home I ordered a nano-gel type battery which hasn't let me down, starts first kick in the warm weather, and forgivably second or third kick in the cold. Little more expensive, but its maintenance free and has been more than worth it so far! I think it was about 95 euro? Also, I don't know if Bella has the options to switch off the lights like Daisy does on her right hand switchgear above the electric ignition, but switching those off while starting helps too!
Hi Brendan. All understood and I’ve used gel batteries on other bikes. It’s just from my research you can’t kick start a bullet without a battery, certainly our age of Bullet. All I can therefore imagine is it was cheaper to continue manufacturing the engine with the kick start that redesign the cases without. But honestly I still think it’s a bit strange!
Hi Brendan, The Bullet Wanderer. You need to clean your dead cat and fit it 😉 💨 wind whistle! Your UA-cam videos should be put up when you want to put them up and not when they’re expected! No need to give excuses as your time is simply, your time! Your animations I think are marvellous and I will look at them next, your videos are also marvellous but don’t feel the need to rush them through, we are ready when you are 😉👍🏻 Enjoy Regards, DCT Dave & Butty Bach 🙂
Usually I’ll strategically plan any tour around bank holidays so that I get more bang for my holiday buck 😁 So May, early June, and late July/early Augusts are good times to do that. You can get a lot of mileage in over a long weekend /a weeks holiday 😄 Cheers!
Good to see you back, mate! Me and Oddball are just taking short trips around the neighborhood when temps permit. Getting cold here in New Mexico. So, one more month maybe work commuting on the BMW 1200RT with the heated goodies and wind protection then down for the winter. Yeah, sad to put the bikes on the chargers til spring. I did put on Duro HF307 trials tires on Oddball and they're really nice! Great traction on dirt roads. Bike sits taller a bit, center stand geometry is different so might have to weld on some steel to get the bike to cantilever on stand and only one wheel instead of both touching ground. I added 40mm ammo can panniers and they are awesome. Took a lot of work hinging the lids, machining mounting brackets and installing locks, but the room is amazing...for tools, fuel bottles, jackets, etc. You ride safely over there and enjoy your holidays.
Dad's on a BMW 1200RT now too, with all the heated goodies i'm a little bit jealous 😆 Interesting to hear that about the tires! I have Mitas ones that make Daisy a bit taller, when she's on the center stand both of the wheels are touching ground too, I'd be interested to know how welding steel to it goes. I'd say with the ammo can panniers and trials tires, Oddball is looking ready for anything 😎 Cheers Brian! Same to you!

Thanks Brendan and yes, more videos of Ireland on a Bullet 500 please. Cheers, Mick
Thanks Mick , I’ll do my best 😁

Very enjoyable and relaxing video 👍
How lovely to have found you Brenda after seeing you meet Saddlebags when he nipped over to Ireland. Wonderful ride. Thank you 👍
Can't believe I missed this one! Finishing up myself for the winter, tis getting a bit chilly even in Greece 😁😝
Great to see you back again! We were missing you! Nice to hear Daisy Bell again too!
Cheers Steven! 😁
Enjoyed the catch up, thank you. The veedub is a Type 3 'Variant' & pretty rare!
I knew someone would let me know the model of car 😆 Cheers! Didn't realise it was a rare one, a very nice model to be sure!
This was a nice watch to end the weekend 👍😁.
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Enjoyed that little trip Brendan.

Thanks for the ride, Brandon. Lovely countryside.
Hi Brendan, love you're videos but especially ones on roads around the south east cause I'm from south Kilkenny and ride those roads regularly.
