Love the vid. ALWAYS cut ht branch while it's attached to the tree, that way the tree acts as a natural vise. If you cut the branch off, as you did, you need to find a vise.
Hello, I have just started watching your videos. I discovered you by watching your brother. It kinda seems like he has been at this longer than you have. Give it a bit more time and you will achieve greatness in all that you do. Being in pouring rain like that, for me, seems very uncomfortable. I mean, it sounds pretty, but I don't like being soaking wet. So kudos to you for staying overnight. I am really sorry that you hurt your hand. I hope it heals well with no infection. I will keep watching your adventures, good luck. ❤
Speaking of Paracord, that brings back memories of me jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft in the middle of a super dark night and dangling from my parachute's canopy and the only thing that was keeping me up there was the Paracord between me and the canopy eas Paracord.
Good shelter build first the fire will be better if you find more rocks and build a wall to place fire at bottom , then the rocks heat up and radiate heat towards you inside the lean to. Try it next time.
You went to nature and hit a looser with difficulty. You made a fire that you spent the whole time trying to keep burning. You got completely wet. Did you hurt your hand just to drink a cup of tea😂
Wounder any of these youtubers ever spend time in Army(combat arms)? I am 19D Cav Scout, 13years. Went to Ft.knox for basic and AIT. My first field training happended in January 1983. Rain, snow mix, wet from sweat from marching all day long in rain, and snow mix, THE WORST KIND. I used to liked camping, hunting but after that basic, and AIT, I never liked to camp again.
Leave a comment and Like! What did you think of this video? Here I am camping out in the rain, collecting dry wood to start a fire.
I like your boots and raincoat! Good choice!
Gotta love that cozy rain!
Another good Video from Nordic Ventures!
Thanks!
Nice my friend 💙💙💙
That was a tough challenge in heavy rain.
Well done!
Шикарное видео. Респект автору.

Its amazing video camp. So relaxing!
Good camp. It quit raining when itwas time to go. All good from E. Kentucky USA
Smart finding a fallen tree, as well a good firewood supply , hope the area drains and doesn't collect water.
Wow, what a video, your content is fantastic. Just subscribed from a fellow UA-camr in the UK😉👍
Thanks for the comment :)
No problem 👍

Just goes to show you that yes, you can always find a use for Paracord.

❤😍
Must be a new bow saw still has the sticker on it sharp to huh ....
like for motivation 😅
First, never ever trust a tree. Second, never ever make camp under a leaning tree. Use cut logs or limbs for tarp supports.
PLACE PIne tree pitch on to your cut it stops bleeding.

👍🏻🏕🌧
Not a good shelter. No protection from the rain shower and the air.
De acuerdo
