And I love the water coming down the stream with the rocks. I wish that was my back Yard. That's what God made for use and man wants to destroy. They want to build on it instead of save it. I love these camping videos.

    Getting a cooking stone from the stream was a bad idea. Stones soak up water, even dense stones. When you heat them the inside moisture flashes to steam and the stone explodes. It was interesting that the fire caused the rock above to spault and fall into the fire, giving you a nice flat cooking stone that was already heated. Usind it would have been safer.

    I love these vids but there is an element of falseness about them. He trekked up through the woods, hard going but when he took a short walk for water, there was a dirt road at the bottom of the hill. Why not walk up from the road. Plus you could see lights amongst the trees. Not as far from civilization as he would want you to think.

    • @Blizzards19
      @Blizzards19 Рік тому

      Didn't notice it till you mentioned the road. I watch alot of camping channels. One reputable guy said you should never start of fire that close to a rock cos it could cause it to fall. That's dangerous

      @nickmill5715 not sure if you watch Luke (The outdoor gear review? Not sure you noticed a piece of rock actually landed in the fire. The fire was burning the rock. Luke says the rock could come down. In this case a small section did.

    Nobody in their right mind knows you don't take a rock from water to be used near a fire, 9 times out of 10 it will explode and then you will be in a world of hurt. I hate to be picky but I can tell you haven't done this long but at least you are trying. You live in a beautiful area and with a little more practice your videos will get better. We all have made stupid mistakes, just don't make the dangerous ones. Keep working at it and do a little research.
