I know it wasn't for everyone, but I personally enjoyed the naval combat. It added a nice dynamic to the land experience. Plus it allowed us to see just how versatile an assassin's could be with this type of environment.
乇尺Smoker彡 I would also like there to be a cool cinematic experience for when you find buried treasures with your crew like in the trailer. One thing I definitely want is a fix on all the bugs and maybe a rework of the combat a little bit. Remove the heavy shot, or at least only make it viable at really close range from a damage drop off or something. Then for boarding enemy ships during combat with multiple other ships, if you incapacitate a ship and decide to board, other surrounding ships should be able to help out by either boarding your own ship, or also joining the ship you’ve boarded. That way you would have to decide to defend the Jackdaw or help your crew raid the ship you’ve boarded - or both. They need to remove the animations afterwards during combat because it just looks silly during a fight. Just choose if you want to repair, send to kenway fleet, or lower notoriety. Lastly, I would like to see some actual naval formations and strategies rather than a giant clusterfuck of ships engaged in a battle. Edit: also, while we’re on combat I would like the actual combat to be more immersive as well. Something more similar to Origins but with a 1700’s trademark like fencing style combat that we see in the trailers and cinematic cutscenes. He could still be a badass, but combat should flow better than “counter and then spam x on your enemies and kill everyone.” Combat should be fast and aggressive, yes but it should require some skill to create openings and break your opponents defensive guards and such. Like dark souls or Fallen Order, For Honor, Ghost of Tsushima, or the Batman Arkham series. So many examples, but they just need to put in a little bit of effort and it would be amazing!

At least put them on an automatic cycle or spawn randomly like the white whales. It would be sick to see Edward Kenway with the newer game mechanics and animation technology 😆
3 add more factions during the Golden Age of Piracy there were more factions such as The Portuguese the French and the Dutch and maybe the Italians and dive underwater for example you just sunk a ship and see it’s wreck after you sunk it and destroy ports and become Pirate Ports
If you swim onto a ship and kill all the sailors on board then board your ship and hit the enemy ship once, you will instantly disable it and boarding will just give you the ship.
@Xxtancianmasterxx Boil Do you mean Rogue? I haven't tried it with Rogue, so I don't know if it works in that game. It really does work in this game. The ship has to be anchored though. The ships sailing in the ocean won't sit still for you. They'll keep going on their way. So try fast traveling to a warehouse island. They're usually guarded by anchored ships with their sails up.

@@Higgs870 Edward retired from the Creed, so of course his skills would rust. And those mercenaries were Templars. Edward wins due to overall brute strength and his battle intelligence. Not to mention, more advanced arsenal and weaponry. It was stated in the lore that he took down the whole British naval fleet and army, thus gaining the master assassin title before his grandson ever did, and almost no one in the Ac community knows this because they keep d riding Ezio along with Connor.
I'll say Alexios because he is highly skilled and he has powers. Even though Jacob and evies more modern weapons give them a huge advantage alexios' powers are unmatched

I'm thinking of getting this game, but I also want RDR2 and AC Odyssey really bad. I can't decide if I should get this, RDR2, or AC Odyssey. Just don't even think of buying ac odyssey, you can just scratch that off your list. Rdr2 however is a very good game, if you like free roam on a western world, that your game, if you want to be pirate/assassin while killing british/spanish soldiers? That your game.

I actually never found anyway who are saying "This game is bad". I have seen many AC game ranking. Always Black Flag is no.1 or at no.2. This game is very famous and enjoyable among the fans. This is my fav AC game. Ac3 is the one which gets hate for no reason
