Can you still access the flap to release the seat to the engine? And still add fuel?

In the process of building a G9 and have rear seat kit 35114. I'm a little confused as to how the top supports (29163) are to be installed... Could you give me some guidance?
+RPCLCFL Using 29163, you should be able to attach them to the rear portion of the seat back upright. The G9 uses 2 different styles of seat back supports and may have to be customized. Thank you Yamaha.....

Hey, I have a yamha g16 36 volt system and I would like to upgrade. I would like torque and speed motor and a better controller no over $900 got anything on mind? Also can you make a video on upgrading the syat for a Yamaha g16 thanks.
Hopefully one day I'll get a Yamaha G16 in here and can make video's! So, keep checking back! Upgraded controller? Oh yeah! Part # 664 is a 500 amp GE Controller and at this date in time it's only $440.99 As far as motors, part # 7122 is only $465.99 and it is a 4400 rpm motor! That equals to = FAST! Keep in mind also, you will need to upgrade all the cables too!

No, only tilted forward on this model.
Exactly what kit did you install on here and what is the price. I want to install this exact one on my G2

I heard that they will but I can't say for sure. It's been over 20 years since I've seen a Yamaha G8, they didn't make many of them.
How do you get at the gas tank fill door once the seat is installed?
The actual lid has to be removed.

No, but I also have concerns about the canopy too and would like to assure a fit before I buy.
Yamaha went through 4 different top manufacturers so the odds of it fitting with out some modification to the rear structs is slim. You will most likely cut and drill to get your rears to fit.
