I'm not mad at Cam, it's genius really. To put out several videos of Dr. Bryant schooling him on all his platforms. It's newsworthy, a conversation piece, and speaks volumes to his willingness to take the shots fired from the audience of people who disagree with him. I'm one of them, but we all have different paths and varied ideas on family...so great to see two people have a respectful disagreement, yet remain engaged and loving the entire time. Kudos!!!

I love she made him SEE that in the end he has kids with multiple women regardless of who the kids live with. She absolutely contradicted her own definition of high functioning. She started by saying a man who is too high functioning is inauthentic, can’t experience depth, connection and vulnerability, and lacks intimacy in a relationship, and by the end her definition of high functioning was completely different, but accurate by my understanding. She didn’t make sense. She talks a lot and she looks and sounds good, but after this clip I’m not interested in the interview as a whole because she lost professional credibility in my opinion. I’m not interested in the hate Cam bandwagon everyone is on. And no I don’t want to be picked by him or date him, but I also don’t want to be counseled by her. I’m with Cam in that there are a lot of things I didn’t agree with in this segment of the conversation, but not because I don’t agree with Cam, SHE didn’t make complete sense to me. I really loved to see this discourse bc u get to see the dysfunction of both genders at their respective high social levels. While the Dr. would admit that there were more wmn at low function than men by almost half. Hi functioning men were superficial bc they wouldn't engage a low functioning wmn. If high functioning means being able to identify ones own trauma& others Wouldn't it be more productive of a high functioning man & indicative of him to deal with high functioning wmn. As a HFMan if there are less than half of women operating on a level that'll will be an asset in my life. Why then would I engage all the same way, no a smart man will discern, and give interactions the energy they are worthy of. There were so many of these insights I made of her commentary, that I understood she is still very hurt& these perspcetives are dangerously inadequate for most men. Though I would not dismiss her entirely, she could.help some women.
I think you missed an important part . She was explaining that no matter how “high functioning” one is ( man or woman ) we all have some low functioning parts to us ( triggers , pain , trauma ) so while a high functioning person may have learned to regulate oneself ( that pain /low functioning part of ourselves is always there , lying dormant ) and so if and when that does come up ( because it will for man or woman as we are all humans ) are we able to support one another and be vulnerable . It is in those moments that healing and intimacy can take place . So she was making the point that if and when that does come up , if one of the “ high functioning person can’t allow space for that person to deal with it , it creates an inauthentic relationship. It means you have to hide the hurt or vulnerable places of yourself to maintain this “ high functioning relationship

This is some of the most perplexing stuff I ever heard of in my life. By her own admission she is high functioning and low functioning smh. I still don’t know what she’s trying to say😢.

yeah, but I don’t like about these comments is people are completely taking any accountability from the women that have taken part in what more than likely wasn’t agreement which was understood just like Nick Cannon these are women that understand what they are signing up for.
