T'Challa was like: "Storm, who?!!" 😆😆😆 Would definitely enjoy a video about Varnae. I'm really enjoying the subtle references to Conan and Kull. I'm curious to know how Selene would interpret this event? I would definitely be open to a Conan appearance in this storyline. Great broadcast! Squad Up!!!
Conan is out of the question if I’m not mistaken. Marvel lost the rights to him a year or so ago…which honestly is a good thing given how horrible Disney has been with these properties these last few years.

@@IStevenSeagal Which is ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, I like Ka-Zar, but he shouldn’t be able to do that to someone as strong as Hank, who I believe is on par with Spider-Man if I’m not mistaken.

@@roddprime Different character, Dracula's daughter Lilith from the 70's Era will Marv Wolfman writing. She last appeared in the X-men vs. Vampires war a while back.
I'm happy to see creative writing connect the first vampire with Conan, Kull, and Atlantis. The only question is whether Conan is supposed to be a descendant of Robert E. Howard's Atlanteans and if they are the same as Marvel's blue-skinned Atlanteans. If Bast is supposed to be an elder God, the same as Gaea, where does Crom fit into all this? I wish Marvel would bring back Crom and use him more.
All this would've been easily fixed if they stuck to Bill Everett's original idea of them not being from Atlantis
Shame that Marvel no longer has the rights to Conan. I'm still upset about them losing the rights to Rom the spaceknight, not so much Godzilla (Godzilla works better outside of Marvel).

Great recap. I knew Varnae was coming back when they started dropping all those Atlantis references in the beginning of this event.
I wish Thor was out of town for this event, as he’s too powerful with the Odin power to be sidelined so easily.
They way they were collecting his blood, seems they are going to use it in some ceremony to bring Varnae back.

Varnae was destroyed by Dr. Strange back when Blake was just a human who was immune to the bites of a vampire, Hannibal King, the vampire Detective turned by Deacon. Frost was 70% of what the “day Walker“ version of Blade has become..
I hope if marvel comics listen it has their pulse on the reaction to these type of fan videos on UA-cam, don’t short change Dracula.
Give that character his moment because he and Varnae have Unfinished business. Especially since Dracula is at least 1000+ years old and if we could project the first vampire Lord age 2 actual events on earth, at least 15,000 years old if not 30,000 years old.
The patronizing of the monster Atlantean sorcerer of the East Asian nobleman would be incredible and actually more interesting than anything that could happen to any of the so-called heroes.
Marvel has a chance to actually do an event right and not make it feel rushed. You could have an interesting twist that’s essentially based on two people/figures/characters who are directly responsible for putting blade into the position and situation he’s in.
Hopefully, one of these tying stories with tie back into blades, first appearance, fighting the tomb of Dracula.
Dracula is about 400 to 500 years old, and Varnea is about 20,500 years old. Varnea's body was destroyed, but he now possesses the body of a vampire named Night Terror. This happened in 1994's Blade: The Vampire-Hunter Vol 1 5. I'm hoping that we will see Varnea in his new body or a mutated version of it in this Blood Hunt run.

I'm wondering 2 things on this one: First did this take place before Bashenga or after? I mean he existed about the start of the Bronze Age some 5,000+ years ago, and Wakanda was already formed thanks to Vibranium over a million years ago. Varnea became a vampire 500 years before the sinking of Atlantis 20,000 years ago. So I'm thinking with Khonshu being an Egyptian god, but was called a member of Ennead. This name was given to them during the Hyberian Age 10,000 years ago, and back when Egypt was called Stygia. That this event possibly took place between 8,000BC and 3,100BC? The second thing I'm wondering about is will we seen Varnea in his new body? His original body was destroyed, and he took over the body of a vampire called Night Terror in 1994.

T'Challa's story is always wild and full of love interest the man gets caught up with a clear mind, calm and cool and collected. Its good to be king.
