"Aasman Se" is my first Bagpipe and Vocals song which i put together with alot of thought and heart. This song is my poetic interpretation of the situation globally around the world, imagine if we were all like those millions of colorful stars in the sky spread across that same one sky you and i look at.
If i brought down all those stars to you, would you be able to differentiate which star belongs to which land, which of their colors belong to you, belong to me?
Just the same way, us humans are so much more and BEYOND our differences appearances, our skin, our race, our preferences. We seem to get so toiled into these things that often times it stops us to bring out our full potential and talents to this world. We are all better together, diversity and our differences is what makes us all Humans.
So embrace your differences and of others, and know that all of this is what's going to make your story someday

This is amazing. People who ate always crying "thats cultural appropriation" have no clue. Using something from another culture to elevate your art is the ultimate compliment. As an Irish person I think is is amazing!
I agree completely mike... I think it should only be viewed as offensive if it is 'making fun of' a culture or race and I think the bagpipes ive mainly seen @thesnakecharmer use are I think known as Irish bagpipes (please correct me if I'm wrong)

No actual artist actually making creative works has ever uttered the phrase "cultural appropriation" because they know that when you put a piece out there, the world owns it and sooner or later it is going to really speak to someone and affect their art. And *gasp* that target person might be from a different culture. I wish more people would recognize it for the compliment that it is, and that it is inevitable.
Cultural appropriation, as the word appropriation might imply, is to take something from a culture, and deny its use to its origin.
Native american religious dress and practice for instance.
Snake charmer is engaging in culture as it should be practiced, with culture being incorporated and changed, growing and developing and becoming richer for being shared.

I agree but could we atleast keep the blacks separated from the rest of us. We need at least one group we can always do something bad too if we get bored.
