Scotland the Brave India the Bold (Bagpipes) Official Music Video - The Snake Charmer ft. Poczy

- Опубліковано 12 гру 2023
- Scotland the brave Bagpipes in a punjabi version . Bringing together two different worlds of music from Scotland and India that is fueled by the same fire. When Scotland the brave meets India the bold, This musical fusion mix between scottish celtic music and punjabi music is an ode to several similarities between the people of Scotland and that of India. From our freedom struggles, to our loud celtic Indian cultures and the proud people. My version of Scotland the brave is almost like a celtic battle music, and adding Bagpipes, dhol and some bhangra brings our the true spirit of celtic folk music and Indian music fusion. I love everything. But the lyrics and drums are on point and your piping is great as always. Excellent collaboration.
The complete Song is excellent😊😊 The pipes in combinstion with The drums and the songtext 💪💪👍😊
Love all of video, your vocals ( heard for first time ) but especially the scenic views ❤
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! This type of music is so very unique. Your music and video are such a breath of fresh air to the music world! We truly need more like it! THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤❤❤
My Scottish genes are bursting with happiness and pride all the way from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤ Absolutely loved it !!! Thank you
awww, glad you are proud!
You should be. I'm a us army veteran 12 bravo. Combat engineer. I served in the desert. Can't say about where. I worked with a Scottish highlander. They were brave and dam good solders. They are my blood brothers. Closer to me than my own brother whom I love. You should be very proud to be Scottish. I'm damn proud to be Americans. Family came in 1738. 😊
I got to tell you. Some times we got busy. I couldn't understand what the highlander,s were saying. But we got er done and kicked some bad guy asses
I want you always be happy! And is was so nice to meet you in the live chat!🥰

SCOTLAND HINDI FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Precious Snake Charmer, God bless you for breaking down barriers. I'm a member of Clan Hamilton & hope that we all love India & the sweet Indian people as much as I do. I adore you & may I embrace you in the Spirit. Bless you dear heart.
As a Scotsman I absolutely loved the fusion of Scotland and India, truly magnificent! And you look damn good in tartan too Archy ❤🔥
Thank you soo much, coming from a Scot thats very encouraging
I agree easy to look at
@@TheSnakeCharmer I am also a Scot and agree with kentzu650, The mix of Scottish and Indian was fantastic and your Tartan outfit was beautiful.
Fusion cooking - Curried Haggis.
@@uingaeoc3905 don't knock it 😎
I'm not Scottish, nor am I Indian. But I was banging my head and pumping my fist and feeling inspired all throughout this song. WELL DONE!! No one blends the music of different cultures better than The Snake Charmer!
Thanks alot!!
Music makes you braver.
oh right... so your not i'ver.... then your opinion doesn't matter ( courtesy of left wing people )
I’ll second that!
That was beautiful Archie. The drums and dancers were a terrific compliment to your playing and singing. This song is a family favorite and this video is one I will watch many times. Thank you ❤
thank you so muchh! thats awesome
It still blows my mind that two cultures seperated by thousands of miles and centuries of history still merge so well together.
I mean... hatred of British colonizers is a unifying factor of quite a bit of the world....
@@templarw20sigh.... Scotlands hands are as Bloody and England's when it comes to colonising. Don't get it twisted.
@@dannycarter3647 I don't think anyone short of Spain has hands "as bloody' as England. I'm not saying that the Scots are innocent, I'm just saying they and the Irish were early victims.
@@templarw20 i think you're forgetting that we all live on the same small island, it's just some of us have been romanticised more than others. To pretend that Scotland was some small vassal state is insanity.
The Scots were ferocious colonisers, they were responsible for the atrocities in Ireland itself and elsewhere throughout the world. The Scots are a ferocious people who were at the forefront of the expansion of the British empire, they were never victims of the British empire because they were the British empire. Many, many Field Marshals, General, Governors, Politicians from the empire era hailed from Scotland. London was their second home after Scotland. @@templarw20
Damn!...just Damn.
Had tears in me eyes. This was very well done. I love the way you mix the two cultures. It's a melding that I'd never have thought would turn out so well.
Thank you so much!!
Yeah, me too: 🥲
No idea why. Maybe it's the blending of ethnicities into something so magic it sparks.
Maybe it's the flavouring of something old and venerable with something exotic and joyful.
They made a grumpy auld Haggis very happy with this.
Absolutely amazing!! I am an Indian living in the US. The lyrics and the singing made me swell with pride. Amazing talent, wishing you all, all the very best!!!
Hi. Im watching again. I just got home from from welding a bat cave excloser gate. To protect a natural cave that has not been entered. Here in Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸. . I work to protect the natural heritage of Pennsylvania. Im very lucky. I work in nature for my job. Thank you for the music. Your awsome. And have so much talent. . I love the bagpipes and they way you play them. God bless thankyou.😊
Even if I don't have scottish roots it makes me feel patriotic, i loved the video and the music! Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
thanks alot!!
I love all your videos, but "Frantic Feathers" is extra fantastic to me because I love those handsome Punjabi dancers and performers. I struggle daily with chronic depression, but I can watch that video and before I know it, I'm not only smiling, I'm dancing too!
Thank you Archy! I am looking forward to this.
Archie is a inspiration to me and sounds like
to you too. Keep your head up and keep
Smiling. 😉 Lol Donnie
Love from Punjab
What a good collab - Greatest Indian bagpiper and one of Scotlands best Lyricists !! Big ups Archy ! Big ups Poczy
Thank you so muchh
Poxxy is the only depressing thing in this whole video . He showed no passion and made no effort to look interesting, stylish. Scottish or anything just a lame copy of American fashion . The lady did a very good job of tartan/hindu fusion .
I’m honestly speechless. This has got to be one of the best mashups I’ve ever heard!
Thank you so muchh
Scotland loves you.🤩👍
aww, and i love Scotland
Seeing Scotland like this and hearing her anthem sung like this, makes the lion within my blood roar. Thank ya darlin! This is truly a beautiful piece!
Im happy you enjoyed it, please share it :)
SCOTLAND 🏴 AND INDIA 🇮🇳 FOREVER!!!!
I just hit the 'show me something new' button. Thank goodness I did. HOW HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS. Absolutely brilliant!

Thank you so much!! that means alot!!
@@TheSnakeCharmer there was a movie that showed the Scottish and Brits marching into an ambush and there was one loyalist to them, he gave his life to warn then with his bugle. If I’m not mistaken the Scotts were playing the song you played.
Archie you are our Gunga Din. The world is at war in more ways that people understand. Archie you have the magic. The world has been waiting for. You have the gift of an artist from God. Please try to save us from the evil. Listen to the last 15 minutes of that movie unless you already know it. Please!!
I listen to this great song almost everyday before going to battle in life. Scotsman here who loves the Brethren of India 🏴🇮🇳🇺🇸💯
Wo, never knew Scotland and India could blend so well!! Archy's voice oh my god
I grew up in Scotland, Now in Vancouver area....LOVVVVEEEE the fusion. The dhol and the bagpipe combo is FIRE.!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
And BAM!!! Another brilliant performance! There are not many who can modernize traditional tunes, and actually pull it off. You do it constantly, and I love it!
WOWWWW!! 👏🏼 🎵 👏🏼 IMO, your best--and that means it's the best of the best! Beautiful pipes and drums, brilliant editing! And I loved your singing! 💖

So sweet! thank youu! see you on Wednesday here again
I just can't help smiling as I listen to this (again, and again, and again). And I'm neither Scottish nor Indian. I just enjoy the fusion.
You have definitely hit a resonant section of a lot of souls with this Archie! This beautiful blending takes both cultures to a higher level!
Im so happy to hear that, thank you!!
Absolutely amazing!! As a proud Scottish lass I applaud you for this fabulous fusion. It sounds epic!! 👌🏴🇮🇳
Hi im watching again. You Are amazing. Gifted by God. I would love to visit India and Scotland. . God bless the world needs more people like you.😊
Thank you so much! Two very beautiful countries, i can tell you that
Finally you're back!!!
She's Great 👍
Im back babby!!
The artful way the two cultures are intertwined in this video left me feeling rather emotional. What a joyous celebration of both traditions! Why see them in conflict when they can be joined together so beautifully? Brilliant!
I have to comment again! OMG I keep replaying. Chills chills chills! 🏴🇮🇳
Just blown my socks clean off I'm an English man with links to Scotland and Indian friends. You're amazing I can't find words to give enough credit
I adore these indian/celtic combo videos. The music is sooo good and I love watching the Bhangra dancers. They always look like they're just having the absolute best time and it's infectious.
hahahaa thank you!! yes thats what Bhangra is about just such a happy form of art
As the kids nowadays say "that is pure fire" well done yall 🤘🏻 . Much love to all the people of 😊this beautiful world!
haha thankyouu!

As an american this is amazing!! Love to India and Scotland!! 😊
This is, truly, a work of art! Congratulations and love from France 🇫🇷!
thanks so much!
@TheSnakeCharmer thank you Ma'am for this GORGEOUS song, I have a lot of Scottish and Irish blood running through my veins, as well as coming from a standing tradition of military service family (including me though I washed out of Basic Training). Hearing you play the Pipes and singing the lyrics, I had chills and tightening in my head down to my back, I could literally feel the hairs on my head and arms stand up and start tingling. Thank you again for a GORGEOUS song
Wow thanks for your kind words
@@TheSnakeCharmer you're welcome and thank you for letting me share my story with you
This....I can't even accurately put into words how amazing this is. The blend of cultures, the blend of music, it's perfect.
Love it. My grandmother and aunt both insisted on Scotland the Brave be played at their funerals (by pipers, of course), so I have a strong love for that song.
I absolutely love these, can’t wait!
Love the cultural mash-up! We need more of this these days!👍🏻👌🏻🖖🏻
That is really a fun unifying song I'm glad I came across. I might add, a masterpiece !!!!
Archy never fails to amaze!!!
this was so fantastic! Love the bagpipes (when played like this) That song has always been catchy & I think that's the first time I ever heard the words! It's a happy video! Uniting peoples thru music!!
thank youu "uniting people through music" thats the main takeaway :)
Thank you so much for the effort you put in to blend and bridge cultures. You are a blessing .
so kind of you
From a Clan Bell member, of the USA 🇺🇸 we have been here since 1758, great video, Fight like Wallace.

Love like

Survive like MacGregor.
And ALWAYS
Stand Proud.
Very awesome song!!! Seven characters in this video, and six of them dressed for the job they wanted, the last one for the job they had :)
Awesome! Those cliff shots are incredible
thank you!
Archy, I absolutely love this with the rest of the players. You all have so much talent. The only downside is that Pczy just doesn't fit. Nothing against him or his music but the level of class that he brings to the production does not compare to yourself and the other players. Overall, thank you so much for making a full length version.
This may be a rendition of Scotland the Brave with a beautiful Indian twist, but my Irish genes are with both the Scots and the Indian peoples.
Because the Irish have as much in common with the Scots and Indian people -- much more so than most care to admit.
Well done!
This is absolutely outstanding! The Scots and Indians have a deep history 🤍🏴🇮🇳 Indians helped build Scotland. Dont forget it.
Absolutely stunning!!! You're music moves the soul. You look incredible in the video. Love the vibe, you have to move when you hear it!!!❤
I was struggling not to stand at attention in my backyard, lol. I come from a military family myself
Yep 😊
hahha thank youuu!
Love all your work.
@thesnakecharmer great video , love your vocals & the locations . Great fusion of music 🎶

OMG!!!
It’s my style!👍👏
I love this feeling! 💥 You know the feeling! 😊
Worth viewing it live and enjoyed it so much , Bet even Rambo loved it.
Bagpipes and singing and what more could i ask for. Hot Hot Hot and going places. Thank you Archy.
Absolutely thrilling, a whole new take on this traditional song! Brava!
Inspiring. Bold. Brave. Beautiful.
As always, a style all of its own. Unique and simply endearing. 🦁
One heck of a banger well worth the wait, if you ask me :) Well done and thank you for this amazing piece. And a giant to all who worked on this project- from the dancers to the drone operator, to the director, to the editors. You all did top tier work! thank you!
Thanks alot, everyone involved is mentioned in the description :)
Ohh what absolutely lovely music!
I will be waiting along with everyone else!⚘🤟
I absolutely loved this. I love Scotland 🏴 and I love India 🇮🇳 Id love to hear more Scottish tunes. How about Loch Lomond ( you take the high road & I’ll take the low road) 😁
An absolute cinematic, musical joy- from the first frame/musical note to the last. Exquisitely constructed, executed. You, and your team- magical.
aww thank you so much!!
Stirring! When he was alive, Scotland the Brave was the ringtone for my dad, so the piece has a special place in my old Scottish heart.
I get my charmer shirt this week in Dublin Green. This song frees my spirit and smile.❤❤❤
I am not Indian nor Am I Sottish, but this is a beautiful version. I love it.
That is absolutely wonderful! Certainly different surrounding for you! I hope you are enjoying it here. Few missing from your video, I guess the boys are still touring. Hope everyone is well.❤
Friend, I listen to your wonderful and beautiful performance song and support you. Have a blessed day~ 🎉🎶🌸🍀🙏
Oh my gosh I can't wait to watch this Archy your talent is amazing and I hope to be as good as you one day on my pips
This song is my new drug already on 7 time listening it's only getting better ❤
so much better than the usual drugs on the market haha. Thanks
As a patreon, we got to see this drop before it was on UA-cam, so there 😜. If you love her sound and style as much as we do, i strongly suggest checking into supporting her. Almost fainted when I saw me and my wife’s name in the creds
You killed this Archie ❤
awwww, how kind and sweet thank you soo so much
Wow! and Kshatriyas jumping beautifully...
I love this musical fusion. Bhangra and dhol beats are something I was missing here in my city in Scotland. I am glad to hear this. Dhol with bagpipe sounds superb and amazing lyrics. I will definitely share it with my friends and family. Thanks for this amazing unity.
This song is just very awesome and very incredible. SnakeCharmer you have a wonderful voice ❤❤
The contrasts in culture between India and Scotland are so beautifully brought together. This got me in the feels even more than Bagpipes in Bhangra. LOVE it! And your voice...what can I say? An Angel from above come to earth. My hat is off to you, young lady. Please keep fusing your culture with Scotland. Love your soul, beautiful. You are a divine angel.
awww so sweet, how kind of you to say all that. Thank you veryy muchh
This is AWESOME. I love how you took the classical piece and made it your own. 👍🇨🇦
I am so excited, makes me very happy. I know my Scottish grandfather is proud too.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can hardly wait to experience the pleasure of your work. 😍😍🇬🇱
Its OUT NOW :D
East meets West but Snake Charmer rules! Love that she loves Scotland. Loved the drummers and fusion. 😊
Thank you, yes i absolutely do
This music defies description, I love it that much! Don't even have the words.
Wow worth the wait, i love the sound of the pipes, what a gorgeous lady, amazing video, stunning scenery.
Muito lindo 👏🤩 parabéns 👏❤🎉😅
Scotland the Brave India the Bold, filmed exclusively across Toronto! 💖
Yeah, I clocked it less than 3 seconds in. I love this so much! Banghra radiates joy, the pipes make my heart sing, you all made my day, thank you.
Btw, the footage at the Bluffs was stunning, but Toronto's distinctively scruffy parkland trees hold a dear space in my heart (that's what I recognised immediately, lol).
This was all shot in Mississauga
@@TheSnakeCharmer Mississauga really is beautiful! I used to cycle the Martin Goodman trail from Parkdale to Mississauga, back in Hazel's day.
Now I live between the Danforth and Gerrard, so, a bit too far for me to cycle anymore 😅
@@TheSnakeCharmer Right from the first scene, I was thinking "this has a very Canadian/Ontario feel...then I saw the Bluffs! Do you live here? I've shared your music before in my classrooms but if you happen to be actually from here, then wow! Amazing!

That. Was. AMAZING!! I was moved to tears, and wanting to bang my head and dance at the same time!! Incredible work!!
thank you so muchh
Cant wait, am big fan
This is awkward but, truth has to be shared... by 1771 half the India Company were Scottish and three governors of India were Scottish too...the Scots benefitted from India and it was this that helped keep the Union together.
The Awkward Truth is that trade with the British Empire lifted millions of Indians out of subsistence poverty .
The enrichment went both ways . Not just economically but culturally ,in war , in cuisine, science and medicine .
And continues to this day as this video testifies .
The only thing awkward is someone trying to make a song with this much unity awkward.
@@mackenziepenny1335 Yes its a bit over the top for a reaisticl social statement - but the feeling from the lady seems absolutely genuine and it's just a feelgood song , romanticized , silly and enjoyable .
