For the B PLEs, maybe you should.go back to watch-a-longs in the office? It was fun to have you guys in one ear while watching the action.
Watch alongs in the office were much preffered for me. Watching watch parties on a live stream does not give the same feeling as being at the watch parties and it just means that the audio becomes a bit overwhelming when you are also trying to listen to the ppv at good volume.
You know you guys could just have watch parties at the office, sure you wouldnt have a crowd of drunk randos making noise in the background but those of who enjoy you live reactions to things would still get to see them.
i dont get why they dont just do live reactions in the studio like the old days
Any chance we will get the in-studio ppv watchalongs back? Having those on while I watch has always been my favorite way to watch wrestling
Why can’t you just do a watchalong from the studio without an audience?
They consider it as a downgrade now they don't want to downgrade their watchalongs
its so disappointing, its UK friendly time too, maybe could have finally got Oli back on a live reaction
clearly doesnt make money so they dont do it, feels like thats all that matters, yet live reactions is what got me to follow wrestletalk, so maybe not direct pay off its still opportunity to get new viewers
@@imsayyam Which is super irritating and disappointing, honestly. I get that they love doing those but *we* like having someone to watch along with, too.
Literally drives me nuts. 4-5 hour videos like that really help for work lol. I don’t understand the downgrade argument. If anything it would make the watch parties feel bigger when they do do them.
Also it means they only defend the belt like 5-6 times a year.

It’s a shame you don’t have a studio where you could react to the PLE from, without needing to rent a pub…it could almost make for a wonderfully intimate viewing experience for your international audience.
That is a terrible take. Sorry we can't do live reactions because we can't go to the oub and watch it with the mates. I know the network isnt always the greatest but seriously. You guys started by doing live reactions in the studio, and you have an even better studio now to do it in. Just a disappointment for long time vewiers that would watch those studio reactions because we're in a different area and can't fly out to london to do it in person. I still enjoy the channel, but that is an unfathomably bad take on why you cant do live reactions.
Not to mention many other channels have only ever done them in studio and they get plenty of views! They really missed out on content here for a GREAT PLE!!!! They assumed it would be bad I think.

Not that "unpredictable" should be the benchmark for show quality, but it does say something about Backlash that Luke and Dan's picks are exactly the same. Stakes are extremely low.
If only you had a large studio with internet, access to a TV and cameras to show your live reactions...maybe one day eh.

@@karlwoodgate4028 Their reasoning for it was that "Live crowds make it better" yeah for you and the people there it might be but for us at home it can be insufferable! The audio is usually worse caus they have to crank up the gain on the mics and i don't need to sit here listening to everyone in the pub doing Seth's woah for 10 minutes. I guess if they can't get into some pub then it seems live reactions are done for good.
part of it too i think that isnt mentioned is that it seems they are trying to avoid bringing in the guys for weekend work. smackdown reviews werent a thing until the Rock showed up and now they moved to monday

As a person who doesn’t like livestreams with crowds in the background, I wouldn’t mind seeing livestreams in the office again, imo it’s silly to not just do it that way if you can’t do the pub streams.

Please bring the watchalongs in the studio back. I‘m sure the parties at the pub were well fun for the select few that could attend but the viewing experience from home was unbearable at times regarding the audio.
MFT means "my family tree." Solo said it from the jump on the first smackdown Tonga showed up.

I understand them not wanting to do it in the office since they would then all need to be getting paid to be there without actually making as much money (which they make when they do the watch-alongs), but I do agree that as someone not in the UK, I miss the more simple watch-alongs for these PPVs.

I love Jey! I want him to when a single title and want the greatest success for him. That being said I agree that the character and the charisma is over but when the bell rings there is an immediate disconnect. I think his character plays into his in ring psychology and the two don’t scream top guy, it just screams fan favorite
At around 4mins in, Luke said 'my takeaway is' and I fully expected the next words out of his mouth to be 'tikka panneer dhansak'.
Solo has done a great job...he just needs the resume to make it more believable.
Does this TNT deal stop watch alongs all together or just PPV in bars?
Well when you're competing against punk vs drew it's hard to not feel secondary. Both of them are just to good and the feud are just on fire
"Yeet is more over than Jey Uso is" i definitely agree with. Yeet is just the new what? But it "improves" a promo instead of downgrading one. Knight makes yeah PART of his promos instead of just relying on the crowd to fit it in.
Jey is ultimately a good tag team wrestler, he can be as over as he wants as a singles star, but when your moveset is essentially just a superkick, I'm not gonna be begging to see you fight each week.

Its a shame you guys wont do live reactions to these PPV's. We dont expect a large venue everytime. we enjoy the studio watch alolngs just as much. Its like watching it with an old friend. On the plus side im sure cultaholic and whatculture will have a watch-a-long party. Pushing the fan base to them.

The thing with the world heavyweight title is that there are so many more people who feel like they are world title material: drew, punk, Gunther, Sami (IC champ) feel bigger than those in the match. Ilja bron and sheamus could as-well with just 1 push. So I feel strange about it
I don’t why you guys can’t just go back to doing live reactions in the studio? I always preferred those to the pub ones anyway. Saying you can’t do live reactions without an audience is just not true.
The match I'm not so excited here is Damien Priest vs Jey Uso. They just both feel like mid-carders to me still, that just so happens to have a World Title Belt.

Personally still more hype for Priest vs Uso than I am for Cody vs AJ.. which sucks because even 5 years ago, that would've been QUITE the dream match
Yeah, if they want to establish that belt as a main event belt and Priest as a main event champion, I don't think having Jey Uso as the challenger is a good idea.
Once Punk and McIntyre start feuding and actually competing, I'm reasonably sure the WHC will be involved and it will then feel like a true main event level belt.
I do think they will debut Jacob Fatu at Backlash. Its the typical Bloodline thing. Solo and Tama, they dont have any back up, they're basically beaten, and then Fatu comes out from nowhere and takes out KO and Orton, giving an easy pin for Solo
I hope you do a watch aling for Double or Nothing. You haven't done a watch along for AEW events in a long time.

I’m hoping Triple H is using Backlash to heightened some potential King/Queen of the Ring moments. LA Knight flies all the way to France just to cost AJ like AJ did back at Elimination Chamber could wrap up their feud somewhere in the tournament. Asuka v Kairi in the Queen of the Ring tournament would be ace and we can finally dissolve this faction that hasn’t really done anything except get fed to Bianca for almost 2 years.
agree with end statement of fans carrying the it puts over some mid matches in peoples eyes it being better than it really was they set the tone sometimes
I literally said to myself the Bloodline match is the match I'm most excited before about 2 seconds before Luke said it 🤣
I have a feeling they’re gonna do 1 swerve & the only 2 options where they could are the 2 tag matches…
Predictions: The Bloodline (Sakoa & Tonga) to beat Double O (Orton & Owens)
Belair & Cargill to beat Asuka & Kaire Sane for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
Bayley to beat Stratton & Naomi to retain the WWE Women's World Championship
Priest to beat Jey Uso to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
Rhodes to beat Styles to retain the WWE World Championship
Also in the camp of people who would die for in studio live reactions to come back whilst the watch parties aren't available. If I'm being realistic, it was probably your guys live reactions that got me back into watching full shows, making some of the worst WWE years in recent times farrr more palatable.

I could not be less interested in this match card. I’m sure a few of the matches will be fun but yikes this is how they follow up the incredible mania?
Such fun and risky predictions boys, although it’s a B show, I’m pretty excited about it! I’m hoping for a Bo Wyatt thing from the recent QR codes!
The Terri impression was. SPOT ON 👏🏽🔥😂 Also Dan, Cody pushe Jey forward as the number one face on raw and WWE definitely are trying to pushing Damien as the number one heel but they still don't feel big, it's not by design that they're supposed to feel small time but they just do
My issue with Jey is that he went from a Nuanced tortured character with the bloodline, to a catchphrase and cheap pop as a singles guy... At least LA Knight can deliver a promo, Jey says nothing and hopes the audience will shout yeet for no reason, Knight controls the audience with Yeah and uses it to emphasise what he is saying.
While a predictable show, I think Cody/Styles could still be a good little match. I forgot how good Styles was until I saw the LA Knight match at Mania, so could be a sleeper hit. As for predictions, I'm going for:

Jade and Bianca

Just want to address Luke's comment that the Kabuki Warriors feel like a SD team. They defended their titles on PPV, NXT, twice on Raw and won them on SD. I think they did a great job of going to all brands.
Calling it, commentary will finally mention AJ vs Dusty by time the Cody vs AJ match happens.

Sometimes i wonder if The Bloodline will always be a faction because there are enough family members not yet in WWE to keep that facrion going for YEARS

Not only do I agree with the predictions I think if they do anything else, for shock or whatever, it will be a negative.
Who's the someone else who cornered the market for live watchalongs?
I'm not feeling Solo at all as leader, and I didn't even feel him that much as a muscle for the group. He just doesn't move me much so far.
Both womens matches are fine
Priest and Jey feel like upper midcarders who can be in a world title match but neither should be champ. The problem with he MITB cash in wasn't when it was done but the fact that Priest isn't ready yet (LA Knight would've been)
AJ vs Cody feels like a worthy match (better than Cody v Knight lol) but the build has been weak and they should've done more with the AJ - dusty connection.
This card could do with a Gable v Bronson no1 contender match or something to feel a bit more complete.

You can't have the no. 1 face & heel be in the title picture at all times. Otherwise you can't build new stars, and you just end up with Cena vs. Orton 100 times
It fills me with so much joy to hear people agree with my take on Jey. I have never felt like he was world title/main event caliber. He only got.there because of Roman and the bloodline. Without them being involved he still just feels like a tag guy having a singles match. Nothing special. At all. His matches are boring (literally had the worst match of all of Mania weekend).

Cody's whole character is "i'm my dad's son." Dan's right. Cody facing people who don't have direct ties to Dusty is going to be rough.

I think WWE will try to get two title matches out of AJ vs. Cody. The first being a respectful “first time ever” match, the second match being elevated to a blood feud.
Once AJ loses the first match, he could become similar to Drew, in that he’s a justified to feel the way he feels, but he’s being a dick about it. He could feel that he’s running out of time and that he needs to win that WWE Championship before he calls it time on his career.
Luke said DoDo… which is what Steiner Math is compared to the PipeBomb.
Random booking idea:
After winning the woman tag championships Jade and Bianca invade the triple threat destroy Stratton and Bayley to crown Naomi woman champion.
Gives story progression to a kind of meh PPV and creates huge interest for the division. Keep them together until Wrestlemania where you blow it up.
matches il be good but stakes wont be high tags likey only belt of change but that match might not be very long
i don't want Kabuki Warriors to lose the tag titles the Kabuki Warriors should have the tag tittles for a longer time have the tag titles mean something by you know have the tag titles mean something by having a tag team hold the tags tittles

I think there is heat for LA Knight matches...Jey's not as much lately. Doesn't seem like they're going to go all the way with either as singles champions right now.
The problem with Jey is that there is too much Yeet and not enough "I am the Tribal Chief, Jey"

While Priest is genuinely great I think being with Judgment Day at this point in time is doing him no favours, he still feels like a tag guy. They need to start putting the pieces in place for a proper JD split.

“My MFT” so you’re suggesting that he’s calling Tama “My My Family Tree”
