since that update the game has been unplayable for some users mostly on Xbox, the game will run normal for first few minutes but the graphics looks off, and as the game progress the lag is extreme , it even freezes and has packet loss on a reasonably low ping
I’ve noticed small updates, they removed the disguise for the dup glitch was awhile ago.. when you ping a operators weapon for your team to see it now shows up in color instead of just a gray gun… I think the new update in whole is so they can track the player count a little better because player count has went way up in DMZ so I really think they are going to put it back on the table
I did notice when I swap my field upgrades in my backpack, it reorganizes the field upgrade to the soonest open box when I open my inventory vs going where the other previous field upgrade was originally at in the backpack. I just noticed that on PS5 yesterday evening.
that could make sense, cause the bots always made the game lag before. my game has lagged nonstop since the update, like unplayable type lag, and I've did everything I could on my end and we have great internet
I keep my guns from disappearing after a match, I go to active duty, unequip all my guns, go back to the main screen, and then go back to load my guns in. Since I have done that, I have never lost a gun loading in.
I’ve been telling Markus to unequip his loadout after each raid for 6 months now , he hasn’t listened. I havnt had an insured disappear since s5 after doing just that . Cheers
@cjcwoot8120 I am aware of this as people mention it everytime. But I almost never bring a weapon in slot 1 these days unless my contraband is full because I just don't care to fight with DMZ and all it's dumb bugs/glitches.
My theory on the patch notes changing that Activision is finally putting urzikstan in dmz and they are finally updating dmz with a couple of new maps due to delta force coming out and having a extraction shooter on top of other modes in the game and of course xdefiant being out Activision might have had a fire lit under their butts to finally give dmz another go since the player count has risen especially with the summer hitting. Just a theory ✌️
It seems like the bots have changed. Bots seem to know where I am even before they can see me. Ive gotten hit by bots where I can barley see them through a window. Even on Vondel Ive been seen by bots through the fog where I have to use the spotter scope to see them. They are jacked as well more than before it seems. Almost seems like they are trying to make it where people dont want to play

I noticed a huge change… It became unplayable on my old Xbox 1s. Packet burst made it to where I could only play on Ashika. Vondel and Mazrah were unplayable for sure. I ended up buying an Xbox Series X because of it. 🤷♂️
Yooooo I been getting this too! I can't get a game in Vondel but Mazzy and Ashika are somewhat playable. I think it's to do with bots because the number of bots per POI is different per map. The drop of bots on Vondel is massive compared to Mazzy where you can usually chill in a POI for a bit and only a few choppers drop off bots. Lord knows but I'm so glad I'm not being singled out aha
Everytime they do a new season something changes. The last big change or aka update is that they removed disguises so people couldn’t do the duplicate glitch. With that being said tho no new comers can complete their missions or move foward in faction missions because they can’t buy an item from the scavengers buy station.
That's just the standard DMZ killcam bug that new players very often mistake for cheats. For whatever reason the killcam will completely skip frames and look all snappy and quick so its of no use 99% of the time.
Ok, so i have to ask. I have noticed a trend that all the streamers i watch playing dmz prioritize plates over ammo. That being said i understand why, but... why not at least keep one spot for extra ammo. All of you toss it then run low or not have enough for a fight. Just seems like a bad plan.
I usually prefer to have a spare spot for ammo boxes rather than ammo. I also just find the auto looting of extra ammo to be very annoying personally. But it's all preference really
As I understand it, they removed the anti-cheat from DMZ. This info comes from streamers and a cheater claiming there is no anti-cheat so "why not cheat" they said. Thats not a reason to cheat, no reason is good enough. I have reported a record breaking number of cheaters in the last month and no action has been taken against them so I believe it now. I think that Activision just has a poor anti cheat because they don't want to make the same investment Riot Games made with Valorant. I hope that changes because cheaters running rampant ruins gaming and is very frustrating
All the practice should be on the type of controller your going to be using the PlayStation and xbox controllers feel really different to use and you starting on a hybrid controller that probably feels different to both

They only thing I noticed today was more bots kept spawning in after killing some. Not sure if I'm only experiencing this. Like not your normal bot respawn, like it was definitely more than usual

I stopped playing. Freezes, plays in Slow motion , cant pick guns up. Bots never miss a shot and ruin the game completely
