The kit you got sounds an utter bargain. Crusty ruts are harder than soggy ones :D Did you just tell that lass she had a good pair? :P hahaha f'nar f'nar Looks like a cracking days riding DT :-)
It was a total bargain mate. I absolutely love it. Funny how things grow on you when you use them for their d signed purpose! 😃 I can't actually remember doing it but it certainly does sound like something I'd do! 🤣 It was pretty good if a little flat. Most of my area, as you know, is pretty flat but that area is equivalent to a Witches tit! 😉
@@HippoDrones indeed you do! That would be great mate. I'm sure there's some work coming up in Haven't in the next month or so, I'll Chuck the bike in the van and not take as many tools! 😃
Ahh.. yes, i too made the rain x mistake. You have to find the formula for plastic. I have used the normal formula on some plastics and it was fine, i think it is the softer plastic that it eats up. But now i only use the rain x Plastic formula. Not sure if you have done it yet but the Hero 9 just had a firmware update. I turned mine on today to get som of the thunderstorms and i missed most of it because of the update 🤨.
I did have the normal one a while ago which I did put on my Oxford Goggle's and that are them like up real quick bit I've had the plastic formula since and that's eaten the yellow lens on my 100% goggles and also the pinlock insert in my AGV AX9 too. They both got an orange peel effect going on now sadly. 😩 Ah bugger, that sucks dude. I tend not to update anything really unless it's already broken. We have firmware updates every other day in the CCTV world and learned a few years to leave them well alone. Fixes one thing and breaks 2 others. Can you roll it back or do you have to wait for the next update?
@@dynamotightstar3472 that’s crazy with the rain x issue, and really sucks. I think there is a way to go back on the firmware actually. I am about to head out on a short ride and see what doesn’t work 😆. We got a slight break in the weather. I totally agree with you, I have been in the cable industry for 18 years now and it never stops. Things work fine and some IT guy needs to validate his job and “makes something better”. When in reality really makes life miserable till IT department figures how to fix the bugs😡. Gotta love technology though
@@BigDaveTALKS I know right. We use it to n cameras all the time and it's pretty damned good but the pinlock thing really got me! Given how bloody expensive they are. Did you find anything major on your ride mate? I did MX today and the weather was shitty. Rained from dawn til go time. Then we had a guy medivacced with a badly broken femur and then just as the track was opening up the heavens followed suit and all the rains came! It was a good day but thoroughly miserable too! Totally with you regards the techs. It is job justification for a lot of them. Driven by the powers that be but it's hard to justify a role if they nothing to do except fire fight. Totally sucks arse though. They should have them on standby and soak up the cost as getting them and their fingers tinkering with stuff leads to me and you being busy fools! 😃
There are quite a lot around that area. Search in your browser for Haddenham Green Lanes and it will show you where they all are. They are classified as roads so don't forget you'll need a road legal bike an all that. I don't really plan any routes, I just do the videoing. 😃
Yeah I live in the Sutton area and actually rode the trail in the middle In the video today with the bridge that goes over the river but I know you and your mate started near haddenham skatepark and just didn’t know where the first trail was because it looked kinda fun
That bridge was pretty cool. I've gotta do that again for sure. I couldn't tell you where the first one I'm afraid. I let nick plan the route 😃 There is a lane on the north of Haddenham next to a run down old house just after you leave the village. It's seasonal though and it's just been graded so not much of a lane really anymore.
@@dynamotightstar3472 yeah maybe if your in the area sometime I’m on a 2019 kx250f so I’d be happy to come out and ride with you show you a few more trails maybe
i lov them fantic 250 top video as allways cheers davey
Cheers mate, the fantic is a really cracking bike. Nick loves it. He's just put new blue hand guards on it and they really suit it.
