  • Another update from the garden - this time I'm only 2.5 months behind! Check out what the drought-tolerant garden looked like in March of 2023, after several months of rain. The succulents are green, the trees are dropping flowers and the wildflowers are starting to take off. We also take a look at the California Native Plants, as well as the fruit and vegetables planted in the raised beds.

Thank you! What I love about the garden is that it's always a work in progress, and fun to document the changes it goes through in the different seasons.

The problem by the road could be a combination of the soil quality and perhaps too much dust from the road.

I wish so much that we, in Florida, could plant like that. Your landscape is amazing. - Liz 🌻👍🦩🌸🌴🌴👍

Awww... thank you! It's very dry, the plants are coping well with a lot more water this year. I do get jealous of a tropical Florida climate, we lose all green in the Summer months.

Aloha..I saw this comment and if you don't mind I'd like to join in. I live in SWFL and I love this channel, in fact I've gotten some great tips from her.
I think you'll find you can grow several of her plants here. You just have to figure out your medium.
Obviously we don't grow some of the same trees but alot of the succs, flora, and fuana we can grow and maintain that are in this video😊.
I live in zone 10a and have been able to grow a variety of things including pineapples, now I don't do alot of succs, but that's mainly because I'm not good at growing them! I tend to kill them. I am currently growing 3 succs I haven't killed by the Grace of God lol and my other ones are gone bummer anyhoo...I hope my chiming in didn't offend but helped have a great day to the both of you 🪴🌴🌿🌳🌺🌱😁😺😃🤩😊

@@ButterflysBots4Beginrs I don't mind that you chimed in at all. I agree. I should have put it in the comments, but I was referring to the succulents. I'm in 9B and they pretty much burn up on my property. I don't have a lot of shade to put them in. I enjoy the videos from her as well. Happy growing, peace and love,
