The ending scene in the subway actually happened. When Mr Rogers was getting one of his daytime emmies he was in NYC and the traffic was so bad he decided to take the subway instead of a cab. When the people on the subway realized who it was they all started singing his theme song.
Ok. This just earned second place of my favorite videos of you guys. Jay, that was so sweet and sincere. I hope you and your family have a great time seeing that. Damn Tom Hanks for cutting onions at you. 😉😊
This channel is what I watch when I'm feeling down. Seeing fellow nerdy folks cry from joy and react in unironic enthusiasm for the things they love makes my heart happy. So thanks for being one of those videos for me.
Jay I'm right here with you. This trailer broke me. I lived right outside Pittsburgh and Mr. Rogers was all over our area. We had an amusement park that had a real Mr. Rogers trolley ride with a puppet show.
Aw this is kinda nostalgic for me -- the trailer reaction for 'Wont You Be My Neighbor' was how I ended up finding this channel! And now y'all are some of my faves on the site
I've watched about 15 reactions to this and got teary-eyed almost every time. As did most of the reactors I saw. I kept wondering what non-Americans must think if they watched all of these adults of every kind blubbering over a kids' TV show host. Guess you had to be there. Fred Rogers, the anti-Jimmy Savile.
I know it's a bit of a late response, but I thought I'd answer that question! I'm from the UK, and only ever got to see recordings of Mr Rogers on UA-cam when I stumbled across them. I can't even tell you how many times I've cried watching the trailer/people reacting to it. I think Tom Hanks is just that good, and everyone online knows Mr Rogers 😁
My go to videos to watch when I’m feeling down are the Whose Line is it Anyway clips, show is hilarious. Always makes me laugh. But seriously, this trailer gets me even more each time I watch it. Especially after I watched the doc last night. Was so good. Thanks Adam and Jay for the awesome review, you sweet sweet review masters you.
I love how the trailer for Won't You Be My Neighbor really choked Adam up, and for this trailer it was Jay's turn. I teared up for both. Can't wait. Great video.
Ah, Jay, I cried with you! Mr. Rogers was such a kind example of good people.. I am really looking forward to seeing this movie. And for the record - you may be in New York whilst I am in Oregon - but I let you in my home every time I watch your videos so I'd say that qualifies us as neighbors! Keep up the great content, I'm loving it!!
This reaction right here is why you guys are my favourites. You are so honest and just embrace your emotions with such openness. Jay & Adam, I salute you. PS I'm from the UK and so Mr. Rogers doesn't mean as much to me as Americans and I still cried watching this. What a beautiful, moving trailer. And Tom Hanks....🥰🥰🥰
I've never seen something get people to cry as consistently as this trailer. I had never seen Mister Rogers' show before I saw this trailer (my little siblings watched Daniel Tiger on PBS Kids, and that was the only exposure I'd had), and it had me in tears. I can't imagine how it would have been if I had grown up watching him.
Watched this on the plane on my way from the US to Europe where I was going to college for the first time. I ended up bawling on the plane! I thought it was so touching 😭
Idk why i shed a tear, I’ve never watched or grew up with Mr.Rogers (non American here), but for some reason i have a nostalgia that I’ve never even been experienced..., and it’s too wholesome
I have a little more of an idea why I watch your channel now. All of those things you both listed in your UA-cam playlists are my go-tos also. Craig Ferguson is brilliant. And Robin Williams goes without saying. Also because you're just a couple of sweet guys who are entertaining and aren't afraid to share your actual feelings with us. Well done, gentlemen.
As a 66 year old mom and grandma, both my sons loved Mr. Rogers. My granddaughter in 2019 stills watches Mr. Rogers. There is a wonderful book by Tim Madigan titled I’m Proud of You. Maybe that is the book this is from. He was a minister. You could never have a minister on tv now.
Loved this. I was thinking about how, as well as someone like Mr Rogers being special from your childhood, it's incredibly moving in its own right when someone like this gets this kind of tribute. "You were right all along! You thought he was amazing, and look, he actually was!" Had the same reaction to Won't You Be My Neighbor (which everyone should see)
I think it is fantastic that Jay cried at this (and Adam cried at Picard). It shows emotional maturity and a deep love of the things you are reviewing. And hey, I cried at the Mr. Rogers trailer as well.
I grew up in Norway. We had incredibly good tv for the kids. But in my adulthood i still have the child in my soul. And I learned about Mr. Rogers. An amazing person. And need to see the movie😊
According to a Wall Street Journal article from 1990 Mr. Rogers car was once stolen. He reported it and, of course, it made the news. Within a couple of days the car reappeared to where it was stolen from with a note on the dash apologizing for taking it. That is how nice Fred Rogers was.....even car thieves felt bad about stealing from him.
Hey Adam & Jay! I have watched about 10 or 15 reaction videos to this movie, yours being last of the line. It's fascinating watching this kind of heavily emotional reaction to a movie trailer about a person I know absolutely NOTHING about... Mr. Rogers has to the best of my recollection never been aired in my country - Sweden. I am 45, so I grew up in the late 70s and the 80s, in a country that during all that time only had two television channels... Meaning I would definately have remembered Mr. Rogers, had he EVER been on TV here! My one and only clear reference to go by is from The Breakfast Club, when John Bender goes through Brian Johnsons very nutritious lunch and asks if his mom married Mr. Rogers (whereupon Brian answers "No, Mr. Johnson"). That really is it... Maybe I'll go see this movie in the theatre, but probably not. Mostly because it would be a bit disheartening watching a movie that I know COULD have a profound impact on me, had I only had any sort of relation to the person it is about. Anyway, that was my short anecdote. Keep up the AWESOME work on your channel. I always look forward to your reaction videos - they feel so incredibly HONEST!! All the best. /Micke - Umeå, Sweden
Hi Adam and Jay. I used to watch Mr. Rogers when I was young and starting crying as well. Also, there is a new Critters movie called 'Critters Attack'. the trailer is pretty good. This is exactly the kind of movie we need in the world right now.
When I graduated from high school 15 years ago, my drama teacher gave my graduating class a book of quotes by Mr. Rogers. I believe it was called 'The World According to Mr. Rogers'
I can't even tease you this time Jay. This is the absolute sweetest. And yeah, I totally cried watching the documentary. (*shrug) All us fans needed a second after that, lol. ✔✔
We really need this movie right now. This trailer was an emotional rollercoaster. Tom Hanks was born for this role. “The world needs a sense of worth, and it will achieve it only by its people feeling they are worthwhile.” - Fred Rogers
I know it might make you guys feel uncomfortable sometimes, to be so emotionally open on camera. But I appreciate it, because that’s how I felt watching it and I really appreciate knowing I’m not alone in my reaction to this trailer. 👏🏼👍🏼
Somebody mentioned that mister rogers could've talked Thanos down from his power trip. Rogers: now mr Thanos, that isn't very neighborly. It is good that you worry about over population and famine, but maybe if you created new worlds and more food to feed everyone....
I don't need tissues for this. I need a towel!! The film is going to be brilliant. Oscar nod and possible winner for Hanks. Hopefully, it will make enough money to beat Enders Game.
guys i just realized something...... does anyone else think that adam embodies what seems to be the spitting image of zachary levi? And i seriously mean that in a great and positive way. But im seeing his humor and his facial features to give off a vibe. Not to be weird checkin adam out at all but watching this reaction again and again.....wow!!!
And here is a 3rd confirmed Oscar for Tom Hanks, the fact that he is playing a character that has many differences from his own, Mr Rogers is more quiet & not as loud and funny as Tom, however Tom has the same goodness💚. As usual beautiful Reaction thank you .
Aww I knew you would, I saw your reaction for the documentary. And who else but Tom Hanks. I let it all out for Bohemian Rhapsody. May happen for this one & the documentary.
One of the Rogers urban legends that turned out to be true was that he was visiting someone in a bad neighborhood his car got stolen and a couple days later it got returned back to his house.
The ending scene in the subway actually happened. When Mr Rogers was getting one of his daytime emmies he was in NYC and the traffic was so bad he decided to take the subway instead of a cab. When the people on the subway realized who it was they all started singing his theme song.
Lufsixq oh wow, that is so amazing!
Finally grown ass men who aren’t afraid to show their feelings. Love this reaction.
Real men aren't afraid to share their feelings. Though they only share their peaches if allowed. Decency must prevail above all.
I cried when he said, its okay to ask for help
I cried when the kids started to sing to him
Anybody that voted for Trump has to business watching a Mr. Rogers video. Mr. Rogers and Trumpians definitely don't mesh. lol
Word!
That hit me hard as well.
I know .. how can you not cry when he says that?
Adam cried at “Picard” and Jay cried at “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood “. Y’all are awesome!
They are no Tin Man!
Kyle Morello But, evidentially Adam is a puppet.
@@michaelplano6941 but he didn't like the puppets in this show.
"We are trying to give the world positive ways of dealing with their feelings..." Like being ok to cry on camera. Jay, Mr. Roger's would be proud!
Jay and I had the exact same reaction I could not stop crying and had to watch it a couple of times.
“Sometimes we have to ask for help, And that’s okay” has me crying every time
Sometimes you have to ask for help.... and that's ok. The single best line I think I've ever heard.
He continues to be one of my hero’s to this day, whenever i feel upset or depressed i always think of everything he taught us as kids.
I got emotional too. What a beautiful trailer. Fred Rogers was one of a kind.
Emphasis on kind. :D
Ok. This just earned second place of my favorite videos of you guys. Jay, that was so sweet and sincere. I hope you and your family have a great time seeing that. Damn Tom Hanks for cutting onions at you. 😉😊
blackkatt777 what’s first?
This channel is what I watch when I'm feeling down. Seeing fellow nerdy folks cry from joy and react in unironic enthusiasm for the things they love makes my heart happy. So thanks for being one of those videos for me.
Jay and Adam, you have quickly become one of my favorite channels and its because of videos like this. You guys are definitely good at content.
I love your reaction to this and Jay’s reaction is completely priceless. I love watching your channel guys!

Avengers endgame : We're the only movie trailer that will make people cry
Mr rogers: Hold my beer
He didn't drink. So he would've said "would you please hold my water bottle? Thank you"
He would have said "Hold my shoes, my neighbor!"
Btw I have a theory...Fred Rogers and Steve Rodgers are related that is why they are both heroes!
*green tea
My go to videos to watch when I’m feeling down are the Whose Line is it Anyway clips, show is hilarious. Always makes me laugh.
But seriously, this trailer gets me even more each time I watch it. Especially after I watched the doc last night. Was so good. Thanks Adam and Jay for the awesome review, you sweet sweet review masters you.
I love how the trailer for Won't You Be My Neighbor really choked Adam up, and for this trailer it was Jay's turn. I teared up for both. Can't wait. Great video.
"I'm a Puppet" That was brilliant. Poor Jay wasn't expecting that.
You guys are one of my favorite movie reactors, very kind and genuine. Thanks fellas.
I’m right there with you, Jay. This country, and the whole world really, desperately needs another Mister Rogers. ❤️
This right here is the reaction to the trailer I've been waiting for for days. Finally.
I also have the feeling that 'You're not the person Mr Rogers knew you could be' is probably one of the more cutting culturally specific insults.
I'm 21 yet if someone told me this I'd cry 😭
This review was so genuine, just like Mr. Rogers. I cried and laughed. “Is he drowning? I think he’s crying down his throat.” I needed that laugh.
Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers - “Hello, neighbor.”
Me - **cries**
Rest in well-deserved peace, you dear, wonderful man. Thank you for everything.
Yep. I had the same reaction. And you just made me cry again.
Awww, thanks neighbor. That’s a really sweet way of thinking about it 🙂
Thanks for sharing and being honest. I think mr. Rogers taught us all that it was important to express our emotions honestly. And you did that!
It took Jay like 15 seconds to cry😭❤️ I felt that
Jay, I didn’t cry watching this trailer until I saw you cry 🤣🤣 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I will always respect Mr. Rogers because he stood up for all people.
My go to videos if i'm feeling down are you guys reaction videos :)
This is my favorite reaction, I’m glad to see you not afraid to show real emotions!!
I always come here to see reaction to trailer that I cried to lmao, it's nice to know we're all being impacted the same way
Watched this on the plane on my way from the US to Europe where I was going to college for the first time. I ended up bawling on the plane! I thought it was so touching 😭
I have never seen an episode of his show (I'm from Europe) but this made me cry. It's just so f***ing pure...
I think this is the best episode on pReview'd. I laughed, I cried, it moved me guys! :)
"Sometimes we have to ask for help. And that's ok." always got me T_T
It’s always a beautiful day to see you guys! Thanks for being you!
Idk why i shed a tear, I’ve never watched or grew up with Mr.Rogers (non American here), but for some reason i have a nostalgia that I’ve never even been experienced..., and it’s too wholesome

Hooray, been waiting for this review! I bawled several times over this trailer. I am going to cry so very hard during this movie.
As a 66 year old mom and grandma, both my sons loved Mr. Rogers. My granddaughter in 2019 stills watches Mr. Rogers. There is a wonderful book by Tim Madigan titled I’m Proud of You. Maybe that is the book this is from. He was a minister. You could never have a minister on tv now.
pure joy 1 out of 1 Yes, please. the scene on the subway and everyone sings the song back to him... "Niagara Falls!!!"
BRO... "Imma puppet!" Dying right along with you, dude!
T_T You guys are the perfect reactors for this trailer T_T
Adam, you would make an excellent puppet, you have a very animated face. I love how kind you were (and are) to Jay, Mr. Rogers would be proud. 🤗
I love your guys genuine reactions
There NEEDS to be a Drunk History episode of the Mr Rogers urban legends. Great reaction, would love to see this with you guys.
I grew up in Norway. We had incredibly good tv for the kids. But in my adulthood i still have the child in my soul. And I learned about Mr. Rogers. An amazing person. And need to see the movie😊
Even after this movie is out I still love watching people cry over the trailer because I still cry over it lol.
I've fallen down the UA-cam Rabbit Hole of trailer reactions. Never have I witnessed so many men unabashedly in tears, all over Fred Rogers.
I’m glad this is different than the documentary. The skeptical journalist is the focus
Your reaction to this touched my heart. 😎😎😎
According to a Wall Street Journal article from 1990 Mr. Rogers car was once stolen. He reported it and, of course, it made the news. Within a couple of days the car reappeared to where it was stolen from with a note on the dash apologizing for taking it. After watching trailer
Adam: 👁👃🏼👁
💋
Jay: 👁️👃🏼👁

Hi Adam and Jay. I used to watch Mr. Rogers when I was young and starting crying as well.
Also, there is a new Critters movie called 'Critters Attack'. the trailer is pretty good. This is exactly the kind of movie we need in the world right now.
‘Adam is a puppet’ 🤔 Sounds about right. It would explain his perfect posture.
I've seen this movie, but im getting teary eyed watching this trailer.
When I graduated from high school 15 years ago, my drama teacher gave my graduating class a book of quotes by Mr. Rogers. I believe it was called 'The World According to Mr. Rogers'
I totally agree with the puppet part. As a kid I was like...I just want to hang out with Mr. Rogers.
"Hey welcome to pReviewed with Adam and J!"
- I'm Adam
- and I'm J!
Me: oh no shit! Me too!
Twinseys!!!
Jay is not crying you are lol
I love you Jay you are so beautiful .
I'm a Latino Iraq war veteran bro... I cried too. Don't feel weak lol.
I can't even tease you this time Jay. This is the absolute sweetest. And yeah, I totally cried watching the documentary. (*shrug)

We really need this movie right now. This trailer was an emotional rollercoaster. Tom Hanks was born for this role.
“The world needs a sense of worth, and it will achieve it only by its people feeling they are worthwhile.” - Fred Rogers
So this movie will be like the first part of Up except 2 hours long
Mr Rogers and stan Lee
The only two people who could defeat thanos
Mr. Rogers would kill Thanos with kindness.
I'd like to add on Steve Irwin and Bob Ross. The real Fantastic Four.
Jay looked like he was going to start crying before it even started.
Never stop being amazing.

I know it might make you guys feel uncomfortable sometimes, to be so emotionally open on camera. But I appreciate it, because that’s how I felt watching it and I really appreciate knowing I’m not alone in my reaction to this trailer. 👏🏼👍🏼
I really want to see this. However, just now and then when Hanks is doing the voice a little bit of Forrest Gump peaks out.
Yes! When he said so nice to meet you and shook his hand, when he said you..... Oh hey forest
Looking forward to this. But it is hard not to make a Forrest Gump reference....
I’m right there with you dude. He’s my favorite person ever.
The world needs this right now.
'Multiverse' got me too, man. Kneed me right in the feels. #gotthemboththesecondtime
I love seeing 2 grown ass men cry haha love you guys
Love their passion
Still love this reaction vid... and now, naturally, I have to go watch the one on the documentary. Lol ♥️
Great reaction guys!
I even tear up when people react to the trailer
Somebody mentioned that mister rogers could've talked Thanos down from his power trip.

Okay, Jay is me when I watched this trailer. I've seen it 3 times now and I sob every time.
Aww I knew you would, I saw your reaction for the documentary. And who else but Tom Hanks. I let it all out for Bohemian Rhapsody. May happen for this one & the documentary.
big hug for Jay !!
I'm sitting here trying the reason I'M crying and Jay mentions it. God damnit 😭😭😭
the world needs Mr. Rogers now more than ever.
One of the Rogers urban legends that turned out to be true was that he was visiting someone in a bad neighborhood his car got stolen and a couple days later it got returned back to his house.
OMG Jay I couldn’t love you more...😍😍
