We also rejected swift and bought Liva....we dont have any regrets about our decision and Its been 2 years with Liva and its performance is awesome....

Feel proud to be owner of Etios liva V. Same I also rejected the swift due to bad behaviour of suzuki sales person and safety. Done three free services , no any problem from service side by Toyota till now.

What's ironic is that the Etios Liva which got discontinued and replaced by the Glanza scored higher in crash tests than the latter (Maruti Baleno's 3 star rating vs Liva's 4 star rating).

Its better to buy a liva rather than buying a hot selling tin can (swift)
But liva is discontinued

I agree with you guys, I have been a customer loyal to Toyota since 2009, I have a 2009 altis manual petrol - It is was and will be one the best investments we have ever made. The quality of the car is exceptional, even after 11 years the car runs like a charm. All electronics work as they did in 2009, I also own a 2016 Crysta z automatic. Altis is miles apart when compared to even Crysta. Personally I feel betrayed when Toyota bought in the glanza , a car that has had no crash test rating and no safety at all. Loyal customers find it very difficult to digest this.
Etios was the best car in its segment with 4 star Ncap rating, however company has stopped production.

Even I went to the Toyota dealership for the Etios Liva. They told me that they are stopping the production of this vehicle. Even though it costs so much, it doesn't have that many features. Also, there were no offers on the Etios Liva at all!!

2013 ke bad is gadi me koi update nahi hai, one of the most underrated car of Toyota, isko agar upgrade kar de aaj bhi to yeh car hatchback me sabse tagaddi hai, sabko peeche chorr degi, engine me iska koi jawab nahi 4 star rating kab se hai, par upgrades nahi hai kuch bhi.

i have Etios liva since 2012,
this model is very much improved than mine,
but i still love my old one, if i purchase a new hatchback it will definitely be Freestyle or the 2018-19 model Etios Liva.
Only 2 minus points I feel in this vehicle and Etios sedan.
1. Instrument cluster in the middle.
2. Single arm windshield wiper. (Cost cutting) made by toyota.
A single arm is very effective though. Very powerful.
मेरे पास डीजल 2012 है, 1लाख 30हजार चल चुकी, अभी भी बढ़िया चल रही है। बेहतरीन गाड़ी है, एक दिन में 700 से 1000 कम का रन भी कई बार किया है, कोई भी दिक्कत नहीं हुई कभी। वाकई में ग्लांजा नहीं लाना चाहिए टोयोटा को, इसी पे काम करना चाहिए। मारुती की बिल्ड क्वालिटी घटिया है और टोयोटा की बेहतरीन, किसी को मारुती लेना हो तो वो टोयोटा के शोरूम क्यों जायेगा, और अगर टोयोटा अपने नाम पर मारुती की घटिया बिल्ड क़्वालिटी की गाड़ी कस्टमर को चेप रही है तो ये तो धोका ही हुआ न एक तरह से।
I've Etios cross and no complaints till today. Toyota is the brand which you can trust blindly . Toyota = Reliability

Etios is basically old yaris/vitz and vios reused all had the instrument cluster in the center even toyota previa and some other cars followed this style
Toyota re- sells old chassis of yaris as etios in India it is very basic and naturally reliable because there is nothing that can fail!
गाडीकी कमी यही हैं speedometer बीच में दे रखा हैं । सीट के नक्के की बात भी एक कमी हैं साथ ही साथ after market accessories नहीं मिल पाती यह भी कमी हैं । indica vista का speedometer भी बीच मे दिया गया था ।
Sabhi hatchback gadiyo ki baap hai. Toyota liva Mere pass Liva hai 3 lac km done bina kuch problem. Only normal service hui hai.

Cabin noise
No features like electronic mirror adjustment, automatic climate control and updated instrument cluster even at dat time most of cars were giving that feature
Front seat headrest adjustable hote toh accha hota.. sports seats k wajehse long drives me neck cusion ho toh b dikhat ati hai..

Flat bottom steering which gives amazing feel to hold

Great mileage 21-23 highway 16-18 city
Has an airy feel to the cabin

Toyota cars are really best I had Corolla and then Etios TRD but unfortunately in 2014 my etios got flooded, it was under water for over 14 days then 4 months my etios was on standby at toyota dealership to get fixed coz there was thousands of cars in que, finally when I get my car back after 5 months at first I wasn't satisfied with workmanship car dealership but with time I was so impressed with toyota initial build quality, the only problems which I faced in the car was due to crappie workmanship as dealership didn't changed most of electric parts which got rusted due to watar moisture this forced me to sell my car but trust me I still regret my design of selling etios.
I own a suzuki car n in d service centre we can witness d servicing . i think it matters dealer to dealer...... our car has crossed 1 lakh n its wrking upto d mark....

Ek problem nahi bataya owner ne. Jab 5 hatta katta baithe to gari bahut dab jati hai aur ucha speed breaker me agar diagonally nahi lete to niche lagna sure hai achche ground clearance hone ke bawjut bhi. Isiliye yeh gari kabhi bhi ap full loaded hoke dosto ke sath picnic nehi le ja sakte...
DONE 110000KMS IN 4 YEARS WITH CNG, ONLY CLUTCH REPLACEMENT AT 1LAKH KM AND A spark plug controller changed. Still runs like NEW

Sir this is Shivraj meena I am a owner of swift vdi ,I am highly impressed with its mileage but in 3 ,4 times in a year I take a drive from Ahmedabad to Rajasthan 800 km and at those time my car goes from 90 to 3 digit speed now I want to upgrade to a safe and drivers car my budget is from 7.5 to 13 lakh and if possible kindly suggest me a combination of safety and good mileage.

Center mounted speedometer is the most ugly, out of place and inconvenient. I would choose Alto then this car even if they would offer me this one for same price. It just kills the feeling of driving a car, makes u feel like its a utility vehicle.
