Pankaj, most diesel vehicles (esp the ones without good NVH) you are bound to hear a difference in engine noise when you depress the clutch pedal. This is due to the 'clutch release bearing'. It's a normal thing to happen. Nice video and a very good vehicle; Toyota LIVA. People didn't find the Liva to have a good shape, it had unique / bold interiors which didn't exude plushness in any way. As a product it was possibly one of the best, provided the owner got the noise absorption treatment done on it. The mileage indeed was superb. Better than the Swift multijet.
Mai bhi jab iss gaadi liva ko lene gya tha tto mene jab iss test ride li deka ki bohat cabin noise aati hai ander,tab mene Desire li thi,that is very good car. Fully satisfied hu Dezire se,2.50 lakh chala chuka hu,no any major problem.
But Swift Dzire and Swift are not very safe and build quality we know about them🤮 also at higher speeds Swift and Dzire are not very stable and it gets scary but liva has better build quality and high stability. It not has very much cabin noise only wind noise is there which is not very disturbing.

Liva petrol 2012 model everage 80 to 100 speed me 23km diya hai, 10 years go no major problem & reperi,minimum mentenece ,mere two wheeler ka isse jada mentenenc cast he year ka.
Liva is a no nonsence car. Highly reliable. Lowest maintanance. 4 persons can SIT on rear seat. Highly comfortable seats. V good body. Engine never needs maintainance. Even v good on off road. Im v happy since 2015
Looks like toyota vitz's old model. Here in Pakistan that similar interior design used to come in toyota Vitz's 2004 model but as they have upgraded the version interior has improved alot in vitz and that cluster meter's position has also changed from center to righ. And presently vitz comes with a petrol engine of 1000cc but the model about which i am taking about was used to come in both veriant 1000cc and 1300 cc with 3 cylinder engine.
It's the three pot diesel which makes it more noisy; I am still apprehensive of three cylinder engines although technology has advanced so much that most of it actually unfounded; remnants of old fears and biases.
I bought a Liva Etios in July 2012. A fantastic vehicle without any problem till now! (Leave the small scratches and dents !! 😀) Very easy to handle and drive!!

From every angle this car telling why it failed. See that ugly rear, alto type door handles, dated front design, basic interior. Toyota could have updated it well enough to make it competetive but did not cared .
It failed because it offered Taxi features compared to Swift. Toyota commited suicide by considering India as 3rd world nation & launched a car loaded with only Basic Taxi Features against Maruti Swift.
I own Liva petrol. In city heavy traffic drive i get 13-14 and in highway i got 17-18 with AC on and full load. Don't take drag racer 's word for mileage.

I have the Cross version of this car and that is just amazing, its been 7 years and never had any kind of engine work. Build quality is also Superb.

I have toyata etios liva Gd model 2012 and it's 300000 kms driven but no issue till know we drive roughly prsnt millage 25
