I saw RR knives at Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Sevierville, TN. They looked pretty good to me, but I chose another Opinel... I can't help it, I love 'em! My newest one has a blue handle on it. Where have you been???
Carolina Chris, How do you open your Opinel, in humid weather ? Mine the wood handle swells so much, I can't open it, without loosening so much, that when I get inside and it dries, it is to loose.
Carolina Chris Outdoors my first Opinel was bought off eBay. I didn’t pay attention to the length in CM. I was disappointed to find it was the length of my pinky. A year or two later I bought an Opinel fillet from the SMKW store. I love that place. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve made a visit. I’ve been really aggravated with UA-cam. I certainly didn’t start my channel with plans of making any money. A few videos have done well. Over the last several months UA-cam has demonetized almost all my gun videos, even B.B. gun videos. Shooting is one of my favorite hobbies, and UA-cam punishes me for it. It’s really discouraged me.
John Capps - I understand. I monetized, but I messed up some kind of way when setting up my account (tax I.D. #), there's no phone number to call any they don't respond to email. For a year I've made people suffer through ads, and I haven't got one cent. I'm probably gonna demonitize... it ain't worth it. I like seeing you teach your boys to respect guns and the proper way to shoot. Keep shootin'!!!
I always passed them off as junk until Willy’s Adventures sent me a couple I was really surprised how well they were made. I’ve always been more of a user than a collector, but at these prices I can actually afford to collect a few.
