Tim, my ignorance. Was your father in law on the roof of his home and fell off. A tile hole can be a number of things not related to a home structure. The severity of the injuries suggests falling from a distance. Hope for speedy recovery.

Sorry. Field drainage tile. Hole in the ground.
This was old clay tile drainage under the ground in his farm field.
A section of that clay tile broke, washing out a hole. He had his backhoe out there digging around it to fix it.
Got off, leaned into the hole on hands and knees, slipped, went in headfirst. Somersaulted, landed on neck/back. Eventually clawed himself out of the 5-6’ hole…drove the tractor home.

@@TractorTimewithTimThat grit is likely why his has lived to be 88. Forgetting he's 88 is why he is in the hospital. That is a heck of a fall for even a youngster. Prayers for his recovery.
When YOU are the show, your personal life is intertwined with your production, there is no way around that. I get your content for free, I make certain comments, but have no expectations.
It will be an interesting episode when you use that boom lift, but I can wait until it comes out.

I think you're right that it's overall good to share (what you feel comfortable with) of the ups and downs in our personal lives on social media, just because of what you said. Not doing so, and especially everybody not doing so, makes everybody else feel like "man, I'm the only one who doesn't have it together". I've stopped cropping pictures around clutter, started adding in more "real life" stuff with the kids, or stuff that I did that didn't work. IMO, all types of social media need to be more real life instead of just "parties and beach vacations."

As other commentators have said “family first”. Sounds like a long road ahead of both of you 🙏
I used to have a JD X590 lawn tractor with a 54” snow blower. Nothing better for cleaning driveways and small parking lots. I would not recommend one , though, without a weather enclosure, instant cold and wet without one. Three years ago I sold the lawn tractor and purchased my 1025R. For whatever reason we haven’t been getting the snow we had been so instead of a snow blower (which is a very expensive setup on a compact tractor) I opted for a HLA, 54” snow pusher and a weather enclosure from The Original Tractor Cab”company. Up till this week we never had a legitimate reason to use the snow pusher, now we have this ice and snow storm to contend with. The snow pusher does a good job but with a rubber cutting edge not very effective on the ice portion of the storm. I told my son that it sure would have been nice to have a snow blower, would have done a much better job plus we could get the snow away from the driveway instead of piling it all up. Without the blower we also weren’t able to clean the sidewalks around our church. The person that cleaned the driveways and parking lot had the snow piled up on the sidewalks and will be weeks before it melts. With the snow blower I was ably to throw the snow far away from everything and keep the sidewalks clear.

One thing we lose with the on-line communications is the humanity, so hearing what's going on with you and the family beyond the day to day content is an inspiration. Tim family before UA-cam. Prayers to Christie's dad unfortunately there will be a long healing process. Like my doctors say your mind says you can but your body says you shouldn't

Tim, speaking for myself, I appreciate your honesty and openness in discussing your personal life. I have been watching since the early 1025 years. And I think a lot of us feel like family…I wish nothing but the best for your father-in-law and pray for strength for Christy and you in meeting this challenge. God bless…

Tim, people like watching a real story, so thanks! I hope Christie's Dad gets better soon. For back dragging with a front blower, throw a blade on the 3 point - hydraulic if you have one.

I am a devoted viewer and have watched every episode since day 1. I completely understand family is first. I pray that God will give you comfort and guidance during these trying times. When we don’t see you on sundays and Wednesdays We will know what’s going on. I hope father in law gets better. God bless the both of you !

Howdy Tim, I told my wife I was afraid Christy’s dad was not good after that fall into the tile hole. I was in hopes you would explain what was going on with him but did not expect to hear how much damage he endured! That’s terrible!! Sure was glad to hear your explanation. Don’t ever think we don’t care what is going on in your “personal life”! I hope he gets along as good as possible! Thank you for the update, and give Christy AND her father our best wishes! Take care my friend!
