Winston and mariota are truly the better and Connor cook if he comes out. Petty doesn't really have any thing special. Most of the time it's his wrs doing all of the work out running everyone.
Darrius Arnold winston and mariotta are better college wise not nfl wise . petty has a rocket arm and hes a running threat as well, but hes also great in the pocket . im a fsu fan but i really dont think winston is all that what people make him out to be he throws way too many intos
Petty is a system qb! There's no way you can say he's gonna be more nfl ready than winston or mariota. Winston already runs a pro style offense at fsu and makes nfl type throws. Mariota has the tools to be a pro qb, I'm just not sold on him grasping concepts. But most scouts say he can be a day 1 starter for any team.
Darrius Arnold petty makes great reads and has a cannon arm . Im a fsu fan so I respect winston but he plays way to sloppy at times and I think mariotta is just a college qb
He can be a day 1 starter for Philadelphia, I think. Making him a starter for any team in a position to draft him--Tampa Bay for example--would be foolish. You might as well pick a kicker. Unfortunately, I think Tampa Bay WILL pick him and they WILL start him, and they WILL get him hurt.
Yeah Manning had Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, Montana had Rice, Rodgers had Adams, Nelson, and Jennings, Elway had Sharpe, Favre had Driver, Brady had Moss and Gronkowski, Ryan had Julio, Rivers had Vincent Jackson and Gates, Burrow has Chase, Aikman had Irvin, Young had Rice, ect.
they say he will be a prospect for the 2nd round so the eagles can get PJ Williams in the 1st and then get him it will be a long season for the other team
And no, the Eagles can't get Mariota. Brian Dawkins said the Eagles can't afford to risk a pick on a quarterback, given all the holes the Eagles have to fill, but I disagree. I think GyNx Afro has it spot-on. Take Trae Waynes or P.J. Williams in the first round and Bryce Petty with the second pick. Hopefully, he doesn't move up in the draft as we get closer. I'm not sure, at this point, that I'd use the 20th overall on him.
His accuracy is better than that. Also I'm surprised his throw power is that low. They usually don't give qbs that low of throw power on the game. That sounds like a backup qb on Madden.
It went Josh Gordon then Kendall Wright then Terrance Williams, then Telvin Reese (drafted this year #16), to Antwan Goodley. One impressive group that Art put together.
This is a gross overestimation of his potential, I think. I didn't see anything in that video that leads me to believe he has quite that much potential. Could he turn out to be a franchise quarterback? I certainly believe that, but there aren't ANY Aaron Rodgers-type quarterbacks in this draft.
Don't get me wrong I really like Bryce Petty but would you really take Petty over Mariota. Mariota doesn't have the receivers that Petty does and Mariota is faster and more accurate as a quarterback.
I hope eagles can snag petty. This guy can ride the bench for a year or two behind nick foles. He has a cannon and will pass before he runs. He also reads the defenses unlike hundley. We could see what we have with GJ kinne but he will probably be a 3rd string QB. So lets hope foles and petty. I truly believe if petty came before rg3 he would be a top 5 qb selection. Washington will keep their eyes on petty as well. Hopefully, my eagles can snag this gem of a player.
Brandon Van, I agree with you that the defenses are bad, but Art Briles uses space to get wide open receivers. If you look at baylors splits, their WRs are lined up outside the numbers and sometimes on the sidelines. This creates 1 on 1 coverage. With two WRs lined up on one side of the formation, the safety on that side has to pick one we to go with if they both run vertical. And with 1 on 1 coverage it is easy for baylors speedy WRs to outrun the defensive backs. Also remember that the safeties often cheat up towards the line of scrimmage to help against the run, making it even easier to outrun them . I hope this is helpful....
Who says he can't make "reads". He quickly finds the wide open receiver and hits them in stride. He makes it look easy because he's such a good athlete. Bucky Brooks contradicts himself after telling us Petty is not that good against good defenses by failing to complete 60% of his passes, then he mentions the Baylor Bears were 3 and 1 in those contests. More points than FSU and more yards than OSU. This guy sucks... Right. Everyone acts like he cannot get better with his footwork and his mechanics and gives all the credit to his complementary talent and coaching scheme. Goodly is the YAC king but he gets the ball in stride.
I think that Petty would go great with the Saints offense. Great pocket passer and I could see him being one hell of a QB. Drew Breese is an awesome QB but he will retire soon. He is 36 so I guess about when he is 37 or 38 he will retire and having petty there learning will be fantastic!
Again, the video shows he makes 40-45 yard passes without a problem. What kind of arm do you want? There aren't many NFL QBs that are going to throw further than 50 yards with any accuracy. When you start getting past 60 yards, it doesn't matter who we're talking about, you're in Hail Mary territory.
Is this a Bryce Petty highlight video or a Baylor offensive line highlight video? Not to mention those receivers are fast as shit. Reese, # 15, is a speedster. I don't know about the other guys but they don't look slow either
Literally almost every throw is just a straight go-route and Petty just lobbing the ball over bad defenses. Don't get me wrong, I think Petty's a good QB, but these defenses are horrible. He finally played a good defense in Oklahoma St and really struggled.
Why are you hating? These are the same things RGIII did coming out of college, he was just fast. How is it his fault the receivers are open? Not impressed? I guess you know so many other people playing quarterback in college really well. Forgive me for questioning your youtube knowledge. O wait. Bryce Petty will only have improved this year, you'll see skidro
Lol Marcus Mariota? He's extremely inconsistent, not as accurate, he had a early round pick TE, RB, WR. Who from Baylor went last year besides Seastrunk in the 6th round?
All the haters that claim he's the product of good receivers... I call bs. Winston had better receivers and threw 2,000,000 interceptions cause he's a chronic underthrower. Petty throws to the honey hole and helps his guy to beat the DB. Good receivers don't help an air attack much. This kid is for real
Watching the video, the longest passes I saw him throw were 40, 40, 40, 41, and 45, and they were all tight spirals with average accuracy. Accuracy is something that can be improved. Now, your average NFL Quarterback isn't going to do much better than 50 yard passes with any real accuracy. By all means, though, I'm sure Drew Brees will be solid for another decade. You don't need Bryce Petty.
Not impressed at all, I could make those (crappy) throws if my receivers were that open. Projected as a first rounder in many 2015 mock drafts. Have no idea why??
Literally almost every throw is just a straight go-route and Petty just lobbing the ball over bad defenses. Don't get me wrong, I think Petty's a good QB, but these defenses are horrible. He finally played a good defense in Oklahoma St and really struggled.
hes the best qb in this draft
Winston and mariota are truly the better and Connor cook if he comes out. Petty doesn't really have any thing special. Most of the time it's his wrs doing all of the work out running everyone.

One of my QB picks for Eagles in 2015 draft
Unfortunately, yeah we do.
Napoleon Dynamite? Sorry, but Mike Glennon plays for the bucs. Haha
Not if Chip Kelly can get Mariota lol
Best guy ever
Love Watching You Vids!
guys gunna be a monster in the nfl
This aged well
This looked more like a Goodley highlight film to me haha
Brett Hundley + Goodley= something amazing?
What song is this
those receivers tho
Every Qb needs WR's.
Yeah Manning had Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, Montana had Rice, Rodgers had Adams, Nelson, and Jennings, Elway had Sharpe, Favre had Driver, Brady had Moss and Gronkowski, Ryan had Julio, Rivers had Vincent Jackson and Gates, Burrow has Chase, Aikman had Irvin, Young had Rice, ect.
Pre-Season Top 5 College Quarterbacks for 2014
No highlights from the loss? Wonder why
If the eagles can't get Mariota this is who I would get , if he's already taken then Brett Hundley.
they say he will be a prospect for the 2nd round so the eagles can get PJ Williams in the 1st and then get him it will be a long season for the other team

Hes so underrated in Ncaa football 14, he has 81 throw power and 80 accuracy.. He can bomb the ball 50 yards he should be at least 86 throw power.
His accuracy is better than that. Also I'm surprised his throw power is that low. They usually don't give qbs that low of throw power on the game. That sounds like a backup qb on Madden.
He's going to the Texans!!
That block at 1;10 lmfao
1:10
I gotta know the song name!
See me tech n9ne
Whats the name of the song?
Who's the receiver that wears #5?
antwan goodley. He is returning.
Thanks, he looks to be the next Baylor WR to make an impact in the NFL.
It went Josh Gordon then Kendall Wright then Terrance Williams, then Telvin Reese (drafted this year #16), to Antwan Goodley. One impressive group that Art put together.
Did you guys notice everyone was open.. Nevrmind
I noticed how he lead the reciever to the ball....
next rodgers
This is a gross overestimation of his potential, I think. I didn't see anything in that video that leads me to believe he has quite that much potential. Could he turn out to be a franchise quarterback? I certainly believe that, but there aren't ANY Aaron Rodgers-type quarterbacks in this draft.
49ers Need A Solid Backup ...
New York Jets wake up before others do. This kid is GOOD. No. 6 pick? Lmao
Jets to seemingly defensive wise? What of the make of O line, qb
This guy could easily be the best QB in the Draft when it's all said and done IMHO.
Great prediction
So many cupcakes in this video I'm getting hungry.
He's gotten much better this year I hope the bills get him
This kid looks like real deal... Jets jets jets
32 tds and 3 picks it doesnt matter if ur recievers are beastmode like baylors u gotta be good to do that in a season
he should win heisman, not rapis winston
Don't get me wrong I really like Bryce Petty but would you really take Petty over Mariota. Mariota doesn't have the receivers that Petty does and Mariota is faster and more accurate as a quarterback.
CHICAGO BEARS AT #7 PICK
I hope eagles can snag petty. This guy can ride the bench for a year or two behind nick foles. He has a cannon and will pass before he runs. He also reads the defenses unlike hundley. we gotta get him
he is a great quarterback, he can win the heisman trophy the next season
All his wrs do all the work! Plays exactly like Andy dalton. 3-6 round at best
ThatStepbackTho shut

Texans need to go after this guy next year.
Texans Need To Get This Guy !
Who says he can't make "reads". He quickly finds the wide open receiver and hits them in stride. He makes it look easy because he's such a good athlete. Damn right
Wow that release is Aaron Rodgers-esque...Nice Highlights!
He really did have some great receivers
JETS develop him into a year 3 starter
I think that Petty would go great with the Saints offense. Great pocket passer and I could see him being one hell of a QB. Drew Breese is an awesome QB but he will retire soon. He is 36 so I guess about when he is 37 or 38 he will retire and having petty there learning will be fantastic!
man hes good and accurate i like him he looks better than jamison winston and teddy bridgewater
not crazy about the arm
Again, the video shows he makes 40-45 yard passes without a problem. What kind of arm do you want? There aren't many NFL QBs that are going to throw further than 50 yards with any accuracy. Eagles 1st round or 2nd
Is this a Bryce Petty highlight video or a Baylor offensive line highlight video? Not to mention those receivers are fast as shit. Reese, # 15, is a speedster. I don't know about the other guys but they don't look slow either
Be nice if the cowboys could get him
If he is still there in say the 3rd round when the BEARS pick they have to take him...they just have to.
I love that mute button
Literally almost every throw is just a straight go-route and Petty just lobbing the ball over bad defenses. Don't get me wrong, I think Petty's a good QB, but these defenses are horrible. He finally played a good defense in Oklahoma St and really struggled.
Brandon Van OU had a good d and he did good
Keith Mcgill please please please please please please please please please PLEASE
But guys this is the 2013 season watch the 2014
Wow 5 passes in a tight window - all the rest are lumpy rainbows - not even a spiral to a wide open receiver
also Petty reminds me of Aaron Rodgers as a college player
Not impressed the wr make this kid look good. They are always wide open and have good hands. Looks like alot of the passes were behind the wr.
It doesn't matter how good a WR is. The QB still needs to get him the ball.
49ers need to pick him and trade him for picks lol or keep him if kap falls off
Always had a clean pocket and his WR are running wide open. Not impressed
Your jelly tho
All the sudden this post turns into a Winston Hate Group... smh
Why is this kid not supposed to go higher? Clearly he can throw more accurately and smarter than rapist Winston. Looks like Tom Brady to me
Lol Marcus Mariota? He's extremely inconsistent, not as accurate, he had a early round pick TE, RB, WR. Who from Baylor went last year besides Seastrunk in the 6th round?
All the haters that claim he's the product of good receivers... I call bs. Winston had better receivers and threw 2,000,000 interceptions cause he's a chronic underthrower. Petty throws to the honey hole and helps his guy to beat the DB. Good receivers don't help an air attack much. This kid is for real
His arm strength sucks, all his passes are lobs.. in the NFL those are easy interceptions
Y aren't you in college doing it then?????
We don't have "American football" in the Netherlands... Great Sport tough!
Literally almost every throw is just a straight go-route and Petty just lobbing the ball over bad defenses. Don't get me wrong, I think Petty's a good QB, but these defenses are horrible. He finally played a good defense in Oklahoma St and really struggled.
