Thanks for the great video as always -- you inspired me to buy it, so here are some updates: In the latest (v1.30) version of the Hub software, you can now tweak the Enhancements by moving the sliders for Compression, or for the Bass, Mid or Treble bands. Another update: Vocaster Two is now $150 - half the original price. For the past year I have found Vocaster One the "goldilocks" solution, as you put it. Now, for the extra inputs including Bluetooth, the upgrade for me is a no-brainer. I will be using your video to finally figure out customizing Loopback -- thanks again.

They just went on sale recently for $99... grabbed one and especially for that price, it is an amazing deal. I don't need my FetHead to boost my Rode PodMic with the gain on this. Perfect.
Messed around with a few different mixer interfaces, and they are definitely overkill for what I need them to do. For radio voice-tracking & commercial production, THIS THING ROCKS. Makes it easy to dial in the sound, cutting back in my post-prod time. The price is more than fair for what it does. I just hope Focusrite has success with the Vocaster & continues to support it.
Hi Tom, I ended up picking up the Vocaster One to replace my Elgato Wave XLR. I do need to spend more time with it, but for what short time I have spent using it, the Vocaster One is an awesome device. Out of the box, the Vocaster One does a wonderful job with sound via the headphone jack. Makes me wonder if there is a built in DAC of some sort because the sound is amazing! Thanks for all of your hard work! Love your reviews and view points!!
Seems like a great starter device with enough functionality to keep people going for a while and having what looks like a great complimentary application should serve a lot of people really well.
Hey Tom! Another great review as always. I am a very big fan of audio interfaces like these from Focusrite. They are portable and very easy to use. I have been using the Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 for some simple voiceovers. I am also a fan of the Motu M2. I would love to see a review on that sometime. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Thanks Tom for always being so generous to offer us these valuable content. I just got a question, if 2mics are used does it create 2 separate channels in the recording software like Adobe Audition or GarageBand? Thanks so much 🎉
Bear in mind the vocaster hub has a problem with the Ryzen processor. I had to roll back to hub 1.3 on the advice of the vocaster team. Even that is buggy on a Ryzen processor, however the vocaster itself is very good.
I have Vocaster Two and have been using it for about a week. I have the Shure SM7B and I think it drives the microphone very well. I didn't hear the noise difference between the plain Vocaster Two and then the additional FetHead. On UA-cam and using a headphone connected and listening closely I couldn't tell a bit of difference. Your sample was very short so it was difficult. I think it sounded dramatic to you at the time. I have had a similar experience but it is the headphone jack/amp that is introducing the noise to my listening experience. The recordings I create in Audition exhibit a very low noise level. I doubt the Fethead would make a difference in the recorded noise level, and I doubt if it did it would be significant and worth the money. Of course, I don't have a Fathead so I can't test it.
I think it’s also a good example of UA-cam compression too- what I was hearing in my headphones probably isn’t exactly what everyone watching the video is going to hear. But that might be a good thing. Most hosting platforms will mess with the audio a bit, so the minor details tend to disappear.
I just bought vocaster one studio but I don't know how to add it in obs in the right way because on vocaster when I'm monitoring my voice I hear my voice very clear but on obs the mic quality and the volume is low and the enhance thing is not working on obs also
The Vocaster is a great middle ground between the Scarlett and the RCP, but if you really feel like you're outgrowing the Scarlett and want the most features possible, the Rodecaster is definitely the way to go.
@@tombuck im currently choosing bettwen Scarlett and vocaster two, im been doing a podcast and streaming but with a lot of working around without an audio interface, i play music in my streaming i also do online magic shows so i think this will be a great option instead of the scarlett that doesn't have all those little tools with the Bluetooth and such, it is currently on sale in BestBuy so i cloud save like 50 bucks. im still having doubts because it feels like a niche thing, it would be great if i could have your opinion on my situation, does it feel gimmicky or like something that could last several years?
Thank you! I am trying to find an Xlr mic for my laptop! I’m on a budget! Just wanting to know does the audio just save on my laptop? I appreciate your video!
With an interface like this you'll need to run it through some type of recording software (free options like GarageBand, QuickTime, or Audacity are more than capable). With a mixer/interface like a Rodecaster, then you can also record internally to that device and import the audio afterwards (or use it as an interface just like the Vocaster). 👍
Thanks Tom for this great video. I could't however have Loopback work properly on my Mac using Vocaster One. Is there any other videos or website explaining loopback setup in more detail?
Hi, Tom! Love your video and your straight forward style and humor. Please let me know which Fethead booster do/did you use with the SM7b. Thank you so much! Always learn so much from you! ❤
Thanks so much! I am confused by all the interface options. I am not a musician and only want to record an interview on my iPhone that allows me to cleanly transcribe to text. Thought ? Please.
If it's only on your phone, you can use something like the Voice Memo app or Rode Reporter to record and then send the file to your computer. An app like Descript can help with transcribing. If you have a Mac, you can also connect your phone via USB, create a new audio recording in QuikTime, and select the phone as a mic source 👍
That was what came to mind for me as well. I have an Audient iD22, but wouldn't mind something a little more updated and compact. I trust Audient quality so I'm leading towards the EVO 4, but I'd be keen to see a few direct comparisons from people I trust to peek under the hood a bit.
Can you use the Scarlett without downloading software or drivers? Trying to use for dynamic mic for my call center job and Webex meetings. Maybe you can make a video on this?
Great video! I've been curious about the Vocaster, although I don't really have a use for it. I like that Focusrite has the "Vocaster Studio" bundles that come with mics (a handheld dynamic for the Vocaster One and a broadcast style dynamic for the Vocaster Two). It's something I'll be definitely pointing people toward when they ask me for advice starting a podcast. I do find it kind of odd that the Vocaster Two Studio bundle only comes with one mic, though. It makes sense as a cost saving thing, I suppose. But what confuses me is that the mic in the bundle doesn't seem to be available for individual sale at all. (At least, last I checked.) So basically people buying the Vocaster Two Studio Bundle who want a second mic for their setup for the guest input won't be able to get the same mic they have in the bundle. Which seems counterintuitive for a bunch of reasons. Edited to add: The Vocaster broadcast dynamic mic that comes with the Vocaster Two studio bundle is now available to buy individually (or bundled with the Vocaster headphones).
I was considering the roadcaster because of its awesome capabilities to enhance audio quality for my phone call based guests. Do you think the vocaster 2 with editing can get the job done?
Definitely, if you don't mind recording into a software application. I love my RCP to pieces, but it can be overkill if you just want a decent interface.
If I wasn't absolutely in love with my minifuse 1 I would buy the vocaster in a heart beat its easy to use and unlike the scarlet 2 interface I actually like the red coloring on it
I've got the Vocaster One and it's awesome, however the volume levels aren't very good. It's usually not loud enough and if you go to turn up the volume, it messes up the autogain feature and causes a lot of clipping and background noise. I'm getting my best audio through the Zoom Podtrack P4 with the matching stereo headset and dynamic microphone.
I've seen many of the reviews about this product using a smartphone for music, but can you actually bring in a phone call (such as a call-in) for a two-person podcast with one person on the XLR microphone and the other person on the phone call? Does the TRRS cable provide the capability for the person on the phone to hear you? I am surprised that not one reviewer tested this device with a phone call, especially since many solo podcasters may have a call in guest. Thanks in advance to anyone that responds.
I love the features & simplicity of this interface - and it's new price: $149. 😳 But I must have gotten a bad one because the noise floor on it was horrible. Also the built-in effects didn't make hardly any difference at all. So back it went. Would have considered trying a 2nd unit to see if the first was indeed defective - but Rode announced their new gear - and Rode it is! 😎
It's the FetHead: geni.us/dNus7 I really love this one because, depending on the interface, you can connect it directly to the XLR input without a second patch cable.
@@tombuck I'm going to give your puns and wordplay a C-, but your channel and professionalism, an A+. I don't understand your jokes sometimes, but you are an excellent creator and entertainer.
Hi Tom! The Rode Connect App has a compressor which you could turn on, does the Vocaster Hub have this by default? or I have to manually do that post editing? And also, does the "enhancement" work even without a PC connected when using it with a camera? Thanks!
So to be clear, you are using the Vocaster to create an audio file that you then use a video editor to sync the video and audio files. I that correct? Oh sorry, I did not wait long enough. You explained it all.
They serve difference purposes. If you just need a way to connect a mic or two, then the Vocaster is the way to go. If you want more mics, effects/EQ, and on board recording, then the RCP is a better fit. 👍
I find no information when i search for it maybe its obvoius, but i dont know so for me its not. Im thinking of buying a NT2-A for singin and podding and recording. And someone told me i could by a focusrite scarlett but this Vocaster seems nicer. but my question is is there any lack in singing recording of you compare the Vocaster and with focusrite scarlet? cause me who is a noob get the feeling that vocaster is only for speaking :)?
I actually think the Q2u sounded a little better than the sm7b. Maybe my eardrums are scrambled? Anyway, if using this setup to stream directly to you phone(tiktok), would the effects still be available? Am i able to save the effects directly to the vocaster so they’re available when using with only a mobile device and not a mac or pc?
Thanks Tom, Vocaster Two - Audio problem - Any ideas? I'm using my ZV-E10 to stream to my iMac. For sound I use a dynamic mic going into Focusrite Vocaster Two interface going into my iMac. This works great EXCEPT for a vocal sync issue. I mainly use Zoom, Streamflow, and Quicktime to record. To solve the audio sync issue I am trying to run the audio out from the Vocaster (camera TRS output socket) directly into the mic socket on the ZV-E10. This is perfectly synced and crystal clear, UNTIL I connect the ZV-E10 to my iMac (via either USB or mini HDMI (via Camlink 4k)), which introduces massive noise. As soon as I connect the camera to the iMac, the noise starts. If there is not a solution, perhaps there is software that will help me solve the sync issue. I suspect that OBS or Ecamm Live have a solution. Although I'm open to that (and the learning curve) I'd rather find out what the cause of the problem is first. Any advice very much appreciated.
Hey Jamie! The easiest way to deal with sync issues is to run everything through an app like OBS or Ecamm and then add an audio delay. It's a super normal problem, so fortunately there are quite a few fixes for it. The only downside, however, is that Zoom sometimes still throws things out of sync because...it's Zoom. 😉
Hi Tom, good review!!! Short, straight and with your touch of humor (your own Radio-Enhancement 😂). I would like to ask what is your preference between Vocaster 2 and Zoom P4, because I am about to buy one of them, but have some doubts.
Honestly, they're both great in terms of audio quality. If you need on-board recording or more than two channels, then the P4 is the way to go. If you just need a super clean interface and/or you plan to run the audio directly into a camera, then the Vocaster is the winner.
I just ordered a Maono PD400X microphone, which I'll be using for streaming. I'm wondering what kind of simple interface/mixer you recommend? I've been looking at the Vocaster 2, GoXLR, and GoXLR Mini. What do you think? Would you recommend anything else for streaming? I mostly talk to viewers, but sometimes I also play games (often horror games, so lots of screaming)
I recently purchased the Sm7b and I don’t think it’s “quiet” at all. I don’t even have to keep it close to my mouth. I’m about 4-6 inches away. I’m using the Rodecaster II not for all the features. Simply because it’s so quiet and I can boost the Sm7b without any issues.
Does the Vocaster allow for dual monitoring through the headphone jack on it? I mean can I hear my guest coming through my PC and my own voice going into my mic at the same time when conducting my online interviews? My Scarlett Solo does allow for this simple feature so I was assuming that this Vocaster does so as well.
Hi there! Today I tried to call somebody while I am recording my podcast. I did work, but if someoone is calling me first, then I need to swtich mamnually from my iphone to vocaster two again. What can I do that the incoming call will be linked to my vocaster two interface directly? Any idea? Thanks for coming back to me. Best from Berlin, GREY
Just curious. If I'm not doing any live-streaming, but essentially pre-recording a one to two-person podcast and adding bumper music and sound effects in post, is the Vocaster 2 sufficient, or would you still recommend the Rodecaster? Thanks much. Terrific review, btw. You've got another sub.
You really can't go wrong either way, to be honest. Running the Vocaster into an audio app is a great way to go. The Rodecaster's ability to record internally while adding in effects on the fly does allow for a slightly more streamlined workflow, but it essentially comes down to personal preference and budget. Thanks for the kind words!
Oooh, both are excellent! In all honesty, the audio quality is similar, so it probably comes down to whichever fits your budget best, or if you just find yourself preferring one over the other. I don't think the 2i2 has a direct camera output, so that's something to keep in mind if you want to run the audio directly into a camera.
Hi. Thanks for this. Would you consider MaonoCaster all in one audio interface E2 with XLR mic or Synido all in one audio interface with XLR mic? These soundcards seems to be very popular right now. I dont have any experience in podcasting but would like to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I haven't used the MaonoCaster myself, so I can't really say. What is important is to consider the amount of "clean gain" that an interface has. The more the better.
I have a question. You sorta answered it. I am building a duel pc setup for streaming and ill need and input and output on my audio device to go into the 2 pcs. Does this allow it?
Some reviews on amazon say that you cannot turn off direct monitoring without muting everything with this interface. Is that true? The vocaster would be perfect for my needs but this would be an absolute dealbreaker. I don't want to hear myself all the time. -_-
It's possible. Just bought mine the other day. Bare with me I'm horrible at explaining things. Right click the vocaster hub system tray icon, click "expose/hide windows channels" make sure "Host mic + Guest mic" is checked. You can also check the rest as well if you want. Then open up the vocaster hub & on the mix panel click the audio symbol on the host bar & it will turn off direct monitoring for host without muting your mic or computer play back. Now in any software you want to route mic audio into select host mic + guest mic. I also recommend giving the user guide a good read :)
Hey, first video I have watched of yours and it was really helpful. I ended up getting both the SM7B & Vocaster. I have a (silly) question. I am trying to use it in a voice over setting through Logic Pro X or Adobe Audition. If I set the enhanced feature in the Vocaster Hub, does this effect transfer into the software?
That's a great question! The effect will only affect the way the mic sounds in your recording, but it won't change any of the actual software settings in Logic or Audition. If you're working in either of those programs, it might be worth leaving the mic as "neutral" as possible and then adding in your adjustments/creating presets in whichever app you're using.
I was originally planning on buying the SM7B, but after some more research, it was as you said, there's more to buy than just the mic itself. Then, I saw a few of your videos maybe few years back recommending the PodMic i'd say more than the SM7B, and now instead of the SM7B and some normal mixer, I changed plans to buying the PodMic and the Rodecaster, but I can't help but wondering, are you still using the PodMics ? I mean, in the recently uploaded videos, I see that you've been using the SM7B which If I remember correctly you didn't own in the previous years, have your preference changed ? Been really enjoying your videos, love how you're thoughtful to the audience, keep up the splendid productions
This is a great question! The PodMic was my first "real" mic, and for $99 it's a tough one to argue against. As time went on though, I started to dislike the way it sounded on my voice specifically (leans more towards the high end and lacks some of the lows). What I learned is that the PodMic really does best with EQ. If you're willing to spend some time finding the perfect settings, you can get some stellar results. That being said, there are other mics out there that more easily sound great on a wide variety of voices (the SM7B being one of them). I'd also recommend checking out the Earthworks ETHOS and Lewitt LCT240 Pro as some other options within that price range.
@@tombuck Thanks for the recommendations and clarification, but I think I'll just stick with the PodMic and the Rodecaster for now cause I feel like (according to your reviews) it's well suited for each other and not that much difference in audio quality than the SM7B (at least for me as a beginner) and also I can make a 4-person podcast to start with instead of 2 if with the SM7B.
@@tombuck Thank you very much. Does it matter what kind of cable, or can you send me a link for the type of cable? Again, thank you very much and have a wonderful day.
Maybe I could try one and play around with it, Although I just want to use it for my recording audio onto Audacity. (No stereo separation on this thing unfortunately, Just a pure mono audio) It looks quite simple like you got a 70db gain built in, No crazy features like a Rodecaster II, By the overall. It's looks good and simplistic.
Hey Tom, I have a question. I produce podcasts using the rodecaster pro, however since I like some episodes to be shorter, I then use adobe audition and cut some silences using a plugin that does it, but still, it’s long, specially since my episodes are an hour long, the audience has said they love it thst way and it’s true crime and conspiracy stuff so a lot of material to cover. Do you have any advice if maybe other softwares can shorter those silences and make it faster to work? According to your experience do you know maybe the combination of a software and a hardware that could help to edit those silences faster and accurately? Thanks Tom, love your channel!
That's a great question! It definitely takes time to remove those silences, but I do think that the "human touch" of doing it manually will ultimately give the best results. If you want to try out some software though, have you ever used Descript? It's pretty awesome and quite powerful. I use it for all of my video captions, but it does have options for removing silence and filler words. It might not be perfect, but maybe it could take care of a lot of the big stuff and then you can go through and just polish things up?
Just wanted to know, how to use rodcaster pro 2 for using as an audio interface for zoom as well taking all the mic inputs and zoom output to an amplifier? Please help
@@tombuck after connecting it as an audio interface, can i take the entire thing to an amplifier where i can hear both mics inputs and computer outputs?
I am a voice over artist and I need an interface or mixer just to record clearly my voice or two voices on that device away from my computer! so which one should I chose and what is the best model should I go for?
I was looking at purchasing the bundle. Do you know if their microphone and headphone quality? We are about to start a podcast and this seems the easiest.
I haven't used the mic bundle myself, so I can't really say. All the Focusrite stuff I've used has been great, but I don't know about their mics. The bundle I'm seeing costs $399, and I think that's a bit high. You could get a great dynamic mic like the SM58 or PodMic or a condenser mic like the Lewitt LCt240 or Rode NT1 Signature and some headphones for quite a bit less.
I love how small and portable it is in case you have multiple recording spots. Just curious. Where did you get the colored wind screen for your sm7b? I’ve been trying to find a green one and can’t seem to
Anyone that has this running MacOS Ventura? I just received mine today and can’t get the hub software to recognize my Vocaster. I have the white light and my Mac can see the Vocaster just fine but the software cannot. I’ve reached out to focusrite support but haven’t heard back yet.
Update. Focusrite got back to me. I had an older version of the focusrite control installed bc I also own a Scarlett solo. Once I uninstalled that the hub worked.

Thank you! 🙏
I just bought vocaster one studio but I don't know how to add it in obs in the right way because on vocaster when I'm monitoring my voice I hear my voice very clear but on obs the mic quality and the volume is low and the enhance thing is not working on obs also
love your videos. I am at the point where Im considering Rodecaster Pro because I have the Scarlett and I don't feel it does enough.
Really helpful, and appreciate how you explain it across different levels of use.
Thanks for sharing! It does look like a good on-the-go option!
Yeah, super duper portable!
The original FetHead is my favorite booster when I need one, but it's not necessary when using the RCP2 or Vocaster 👍
Thanks a lot for the informative video!
Can you please make a review of the Audient Evo 4? Is an affordable audio interface and I would like to hear your thoughts about it, love your videos!
Oh wow, I haven't heard of the Eva 4 before, but the specs seem really impressive, especially for the price!
Yes, both the Vocaster and Scarlett are plug and play 👍
The Q2u sounds amazing
(At least, last I checked.)
So basically people buying the Vocaster Two Studio Bundle who want a second mic for their setup for the guest input won't be able to get the same mic they have in the bundle. Which seems counterintuitive for a bunch of reasons.
Edited to add: The Vocaster broadcast dynamic mic that comes with the Vocaster Two studio bundle is now available to buy individually (or bundled with the Vocaster headphones).
Yeah, I saw that there were a lot of different bundles. Definitely strange that the Two doesn't come with TWO mics 🤔
Hello, if I close the hub the presets will still work? Let's say I choose the radio or bright preset.
Yes 👍
That is cool
Just got mine yesterday , interested in seeing how I can use w my Android phone on the go .
Oh that'll be super interesting! I've been able to connect it to a USB C iPad, so it should work with your phone.
If I wasn't absolutely in love with my minifuse 1 I would buy the vocaster in a heart beat its easy to use and unlike the scarlet 2 interface I actually like the red coloring on it
Hey Jess! Definitely a step up from the Scarlett. I really am super impressed with it!
Could you maybe do a review on the Maonocaster AM-100. I’m curious your thoughts on that interface/mixer.
I've never used the Maonocaster myself, but if I ever come across one or get the chance to test one I definitely will 👍
I love the features & simplicity of this interface - and it's new price: $149. 😳 But I must have gotten a bad one because the noise floor on it was horrible. Also the built-in effects didn't make hardly any difference at all. So back it went. Would have considered trying a 2nd unit to see if the first was indeed defective - but Rode announced their new gear - and Rode it is! 😎
Hey, what is the booster you used with the SM7B? Can I get a link for it please?
It's the FetHead: geni.us/dNus7
I really love this one because, depending on the interface, you can connect it directly to the XLR input without a second patch cable.
Thanks!
The Enhance button will work without the app, but it will default to whichever settings it had when last used with the app. Hope that makes sense?
@@tombuck ah that's all i needed to know. Thanks Tom!
Oh my heart, you talked about Discord without screwing up your nose 😆💙
They added forums. I can breathe easy 😁
So to be clear, you are using the Vocaster to create an audio file that you then use a video editor to sync the video and audio files. I that correct? Oh sorry, I did not wait long enough. You explained it all.
Haha, yep, that's exactly it. Although, as shown in the video, the camera output from the Vocaster works exceptionally well.
@@tombuck Thanks for the reply. Happy holidays.
Tom, between this device and the Rodecaster Pro, which would you prefer?
They serve difference purposes. If you just need a way to connect a mic or two, then the Vocaster is the way to go. If you want more mics, effects/EQ, and on board recording, then the RCP is a better fit. 👍
One question bro… where I can buy that BLUE ANTIPOP for your Mic Shure ?
reporterstore.com 👍
@@tombuck thanks I have already order for 🇲🇽 Mexico .
How would use Loopback in Windows?
So no multi channel recording?! How does this compare to the Zoom podtrak p4?!
As far as I'm aware it's just a single stereo output, so the P4 wins in that one. 👍
Nice! Really cool device and seems well thought out. I have the Scarlett 2i2, which does what I need... for now ;)
The 2i2 is awesome, but I love the all-in-one simplicity of this, especially with something like the Shure.
Hey Jonathan! Since the NT-2 is a condenser mic, and interface should be able to power it just fine 👍
I like your style bro!
I appreciate that, thank you!
Hey Tom, great as usual, what audio interface/mixer would you recommend for an RE20 that has at least 60db of gain?
The Vocaster is good if you want to keep it simple. The Rodecaster Duo is good if you want to take things up a notch 👍
@@tombuck decided on the Rodecaster Duo. Thanks again.
Thanks Tom,
Vocaster Two - Audio problem - Any ideas?
@@tombuck best for podcast video?
Tom, what are you using to mount the RCP2 to the desk?
It's just a generic VESA monitor arm. Nothing special, but it works great!
It's likely that a big reason the SM7B doesn't feel quiet is because the RCP is designed to really push mics like it to sound their best 👍
@@tombuck I bought both the Rodecaster 2 and Smb7 on your reviews. It was more money than I hoped to spend but in the end worth every penny.
Tom is worth a million Buck s 😅 I love your channel even if it’s a niche too advanced for me.
Aww shucks, a million bucks? Sometimes people say one Buck is too many 😉
Does the Vocaster allow for dual monitoring through the headphone jack on it?
Hi, Do you think the Vocaster One is enough to get the best clear sound out of the Shure SM7B?
I came here for the Dad jokes...
Stayed for the content!!! :D
What do you think vocaster 2 or 2i2 4th gen? I have a little UA-cam channel with just me talking 😊
@@tombuck Very much appreciated sir!
The Audient Evo 4 (and 8) is only missing Bluetooth (& ~20 dB of gain), otherwise seems to offer similar features for much less money.
Hi Tom! Many thanks for the info about the Vocaster2. Do you think it can be used with the Atem Mini Pro?
Yes definitely! You can run that camera output into the ATEM 👍
@@tombuck Thanks Tom! 💪🏻
@@tombuck as I do not find the way to monitor de audio through the Atem Mini Pro ISO the Vocaster2 seems to be a good solution.
Yes, the two separate USB connectors will make that possible.
Some reviews on amazon say that you cannot turn off direct monitoring without muting everything with this interface. Is that true? The vocaster would be perfect for my needs but this would be an absolute dealbreaker. I don't want to hear myself all the time. -_-
As far as I know there's not a way to NOT hear yourself, but I could be wrong.
Like your videos. I need help buying some speakers for it.
And the cable accessories
You can run the 1/4” monitor outputs into the speakers of your choice 👍
@@tombuck Thank you very much. Does it matter what kind of cable, or can you send me a link for the type of cable? Again, thank you very much and have a wonderful day.
Will this be a good route to go to use the Bluetooth feature to play some music during breaks on a teams call ?
How can I make my mic to sound louder outside or without my headphones
Maybe I could try one and play around with it, Although I just want to use it for my recording audio onto Audacity. (No stereo separation on this thing unfortunately, Just a pure mono audio)
It looks quite simple like you got a 70db gain built in, No crazy features like a Rodecaster II, By the overall. It's looks good and simplistic.
It's really fun overall- wonder if a stereo option could be added in an update?
@@tombuck If it becomes true, It would be a pan-stereo left and right option or something else better.
I'm hoping that for the future of this thing.
Please help
Once it's connected to your computer, you'll be able to select it as an Input/Output source in Zoom (or any other application) 👍
@@tombuck after connecting it as an audio interface, can i take the entire thing to an amplifier where i can hear both mics inputs and computer outputs?
You App-solutely done a great job as usual Mista Buck! 🎤😂 and 6:17 🤣💀
I am a voice over artist and I need an interface or mixer just to record clearly my voice or two voices on that device away from my computer! so which one should I chose and what is the best model should I go for?
I haven't updated yet, but I'm hopeful that you'll hear back from them soon!
Update. Focusrite got back to me. I had an older version of the focusrite control installed bc I also own a Scarlett solo. Once I uninstalled that the hub worked.
Tom - You didn't turn on Phantom power. When you were showing the software, 48V is off.
The SM7B doesn't need phantom power 👍
