i am doing another run after stopping for an year right at the start of the dlc, i am after zorah magdaros, but ill still ask u the question, what do you do after finishing main story?
After the main story, grind your MR a bit. Do quests to unlock a few more quest lines to where you end up unlocking the fights for Stygian Zinogre, SafiJiiva, Furious Rajang, Raging Brachydios, Alatreon, and then finally Fatalis. Once you beat Fatalis, thats pretty much it. All thats left are personal checklists whether you want to 100% all quests, get X number of kills/caps on a monster, get all size crowns for all monsters that can, make every weapon, etc. At that point, its up to you what you want to do after the main story. Just have fun with it!
