- This video shows me making a semi-custom magnetic tablet mount for a 2015 GMC sierra. Using vehicle specific hardware mounts and adding magnets purchased from amazon. This concept can work on any vehicle.

I’m using my iPad but without all those extra work. Simply use 2 mobile holder magnets and stick that using double side tape, and use old case to stick metal piece. It’s simple and looks clean.
Whatever works for you! I personally don't trust the tape over an extended period of time. Especially with an expensive tablet hanging on it.
Thank i been looking to do the same without jacking up my dash. And i don’t want to put a aftermarket radio like i did in my car. Don’t want that missing.

magnet dont' work because it can drop from rough road so velcro tape (best) is better magnet

I bet velcro would hold pretty good but the magnets work for me because I like the ease of popping it off for access to the reverse camera
I know this is old, but the tablet went dark because there are magnet sensors in it to detect a closed case.
Thanks! I didn't think of that, moved the magnets since then and the problem hasn't come back

Is the table a wifi only? I have a Samsung table wifi only & couldn't connect to the truck via Bluetooth.
Hey! Yes the tablet is wifi only. That shouldn't interfere with the Bluetooth connection as they are separate. I use the mobile hotspot on my phone for Internet access.

How do you have the large icons on the lock screen and can you do it on apple?
I used an Android app called "large icons widget". If there's a way to do it on apple I'm not aware of it.
