2019+ have a hose connected to the stock intake. How does that work? I've been told that you need to get a hose from an earlier model, but I'm not sure about the connections.
MAN!!!! I got to say you missed some major points in this video. The most important part is the air sensor and your should've included how you fit it in the hole with the grommet.
I'd love to have more information that gives some longer term comparisons on these. I'd REALLY like to see something that provides some great look and less like - what we rip out of the car that fosters the "trash can lids and accidental plastic" that plague this engine set. Seems to me on enhanced trims that something far more impressive would come - or that someone would come along and provide GOOD SOLID aftermarket options - that are still missing in action.
Just ordered the kn cold air intake for my charger. Is it really necessary to disconnect battery? I just dont wanna throw codes because i know how these newer cars can be.
I've heard on utube it's not a good idea to put one on as it confuses the sensor being different air intake and causes drive ability problems, id hate to put out the coin then find that out
This one looks more robust, but - what in the way of performance differences are provided when we compare this to say the SR options? Again, my opinion here is that - it looks like more black plastic which I think was one of the largest detractors from the original air intake. Great work and SOLID install sample. Thank you for allowing all of us to get more familiar with our engines/vehicles!
Does it come with sealant for the 5/8" or should I get some of my own, what brand, or is it just preferred to put some on? I just wanna be as prepared with whatever I need in one trip lol.
I have a Dodge Charger GT 21 as well and this comment is right…. So the tube that was connected to his filter box ours is on the side where the sensor is it’s like right beside it…. Is it a way we can contact you for a walk threw or maybe just question on a few cause there’s another one I have on how he bolted the bottom of the K&N filter cover the thread he placed on the bottom does not stay in the way he put it in, I tried mine last night

You should’ve went into detail a little bit on the hoses, mine was on the left side and it your video y’all somehow ran it thru to the right side..
Mine is like yours what did you do to fix it bro ?
Longer hose ?
Where is the direction of the air intake sensor when installing the Antique Sport?

any thing for 2012 Dodge Journey RT 3.6?
What’s the difference between this model and the typhoon model ? I’m having a hard time deciding on which one to buy.
Typhoon is made out of aluminum I assume it would make a better sound than this plastic one
So which on did you get, cuz idk if I should get this one or the typhoon 69 series?
is that the olny difference what it's made out of

@@Cj085-2.0 no clue. I think I bought one and returned it. I have an RT now. Pretty sure you should have everything you’ll need
I got thus kit but mine 3.6 vvt is different. The vacuum hose is right by the sensor towards the throttle body and not by the fender.
Did you solve the problem, i have the same issue with my Charger V.6
@@OmarAbushanab-x4j yes. The kit comes with a longer hose

Is the hole for the sensor predrilled? Sounded like he said he had to drill it.
What I wanna know
It was pre drilled. A bit tricky getting grommet in there but it works
@@crazyscoobydid your check engine turn on?
