    It's been a while and just wanted to see how you all are doing with your Joroto? I've been using mine and the sensors are still working great. The bike has been solid with no issues whatsoever. Very glad I bought this!! Let me know how your bike is working you in the comments 👍🏾

      Had mine for about a week. Left a review on amazon. IMHO, the only (best) choice. Added Wahoo (PSA: that's a bad word up here in Canada 😔)cadence/speed sensors. Resistance gage from Mike on esty. So far, crazy happy. Can't complain. Even have the belt cover on and am sighting down the belt for misalignment/premature wear. All good so far. PM me if you have any questions. Hardware, accesories, devices and OS compatibility etc etc/ And no, I'm not employed in any, or, kind/type of related field. Trust me heeh. Always wondered why people left reviews.

    Thanks for this! I stuck my wahoo sensors on a "Sunny" spin bike which has no speedometer, but the default was definitely way off. I'll give 1209 a try and see how that goes. For what it's worth, I stuck my wheel sensor on with Scotch Extreme Fasteners, it's basically industrial velcro. Makes it easier to remove and replace the battery

    If you have a Samsung when you pair it to SHealth go to Accessories then the cog icon Settings. Set Bike type to OTHER and set wheel size to 1250mm. Accurate to a tenth.

    Same with the Sunny Health Synergy bike. Seems to depend on where on the flywheel you attach the sensor as to what your number, in custom field, will be.

    Thanks for the video. I'm about to order an x2. Question: On Wahoo's website it says when using their cadence sensor with the Peloton digital app you must use ISO only (no android). You say it works with the speed sensor but does the cadence sensor also work with the Peloton App using your x2? ? Ie is Wahoo wrong on their website? I'd like to use the x2 for Peloton workouts pairing an android phone casting to a tv. Thoughts . . .??

    Could I enquire if the speed sensor details distance (i.e. mileage) as personally not interested in speed info, but would like to know distance covered on spin bike,
    Does distance show on the Wahoo app ?

    Have you changed the scotch tape out yet? I just got an X2 also.

    • @cjitty
      @cjitty  3 роки тому +5

      Lol..actually no. Since I have to change the batteries on the sensor once a year I think, I figured it's easy to just use the tape method instead of something that makes it harder to get the battery door off. I cleaned it up and just put one piece of 3M wide clear packing tape and it's holding fine

  • @ankz360

    My readings jump massively. When at 15kph it matches the bike computer but when i double that to 30kph the wahoo speed sensor shows 60kph on the app. I’ve also tried different circumferences with no difference. Im thinking i might have to move the sensor closer to the edge of the flywheel

    • @cjitty
      @cjitty  Рік тому

      Yes it has to be as close to the center as possible but it's hard with the uneven surface unless you do some thick 3m tape

    just a question, if your monitor shows your speed anyway why did you feel the need to then by a speed sensor? i get buying a cadence sensor, but it seems a waste of time getting the speed one, if the monitor already shows you that

    Curious why you wanted to use a speed sensor if the bike tracks speed as well..?

    • @Scrottobaggns

      If you're connecting to external apps like Zwift, the sensors send that data to the app. The bikes speed sensor cannot be sent externally to another app.

    So the 1209 mm I presume is supposed to be the circumference of your wheel? Can you,please accurately measure the diameter of your flywheel? I can’t seem to find an calibration tutorial that doesn’t involve a bike computer to compare against.

    • @cjitty
      @cjitty  3 роки тому +1

      I googled and found this
      The diameter is approx 19 inches. Circumference is approx 59.66 (19x3.14).

    I got the same bike I thought the little computer they give you gives you speed distance calories and time why do you want another speed sensor? I’d like something that monitors the tension that I’m placing on the fly wheel like what level resistance..If anybody knows how to do that can you hit me back

    • @cjitty
      @cjitty  3 роки тому

      This is discussed in the comments. You'd have to use the passive device mentioned in the replies. Nothing I know of to measure resistance electronically for this device. And I explain in the video why you would use the sensors..for the various apps
