It is just me or does anyone realise how Luke keeps the same baseball cap Lorelei gave him for Christmas in season one for every season even Gilmore girl year in a life which takes around 10 years after the ending of the original Gilmore girls. Like even breaking up he still had hope that one day they would find their way back to each other and they did even through the hardest of times
More importantly, how he actually cycles through like 3-4 different hats in the first ten episodes before eternally living in the single one from Lorelai thereafter!!
He ends up with 2 black hats after there 2nd break up , he puts her blue hat back on and that’s what starts her turn around to him and the gesture , then you see Zac give him back one of his black hats that he lost in the dinner
@@lauriecarson6483 he has the paler blue American flag hat with the buckle strap in pilot, then a tan/beige hat with darker strap and metal buckle piece in s1e2 and a sort of army green one with plain strap starting s1e6 interchangeably until the iconic blue hat
I love how he treats her like royalty like he would do absolutely anything for her and he proves that over and over and over again he always wants her happy❤️
And the best part is, he’s always done it just before they started dating. He’d be a little more grumpy, but he still always do it, and I think he was always going to do it
And she treats him like shit, cheats on him, takes advantage of him emotionally and financially.. I wonder if luke was as person how resentful he would end up after being her doormat all these years.. And she doesn't marry him till the fking reunion. It's one hell of an abusive relationship but women will fawn coz the guy is on the receiving end
the fact that even after THIS we had to suffer through another Lorelai x Chris romance will never cease to make me angry haha I just wish they would've made Lorelai & Luke work through the April issue :(
In some ways I’m glad they finally closed the door on him. I hated the April thing, but I was a huge Christopher fan and I needed them to close the door totally for me to get over it.
I hated the April plot! I mean I get that they needed another problem/plot twist but they should’ve done something different like maybe Lorelai getting pregnant…
yeah, i decided a long time ago that tv does that waay too much. my few dream guys are bloody tv characters ! ones who have unfolded and evolved over many seasons, thus being the way you get swept off your feet. aaahhh!?

did anyone notice that there is half a grapefruit on the table in front of rory? I have just been bingeing these videos, and in a previous one Lorelai demanded half a grapefruit from Luke to appease her father and he even though he didn't serve them on the menu, he went and got one for her. so I thought it was funny that years later he seemed to have added it to the menu!

Almost all the "good" parts of the sequel were callbacks to the series.
