I just watched ALL ELEVEN parts of your Luke being in love with Lorelai series and was so happy to find this one but omg what always gets me is during the first clip, after Lorelai and Rory walk away, Luke looks outside because HE WAS STAYING OPEN FOR THEM (or at least, that's what I like to think.)
She’s stupid because she tired to ignore her feelings forever-bc of fear of trusting someone and true intimacy. All her boyfriends sure put a show on for. She did that a lot with Luke too, but also truly trusted him to be in her corner and that terrified her.

Like when they had dreams of each other, luke has a dream where lorelai tells him not to marry Nicole and lorelai has a dream that they are married. I don’t think they showed them dreaming of someone else ever.
Sookis Yes I do think that is crazy 😂😂 she really was an amazing character, I’m sad the writers completely sidelined her and Lorelei’s friendship as series progressed. I mean sooki was always there but there weren’t really stories about their friendship she was just always smashed in there for crazy laughs
It's great how much more like casual they are in season 1 about almost revealing their feelings and then go into like total denial mode for a couple years after. There's just so many good shipper moment in season 1.
The firsts episodes of the first season they flirted very openly. Then the creators stopped them and gave them more of a platonic friendship vibe to have a slow will they/won’t they
God I love that hospital scene... it is soo good. I remember watching that the first time I was ever watching the show and getting all into their chemistry and hook-up suspense, thinking 'those two are totally going to hook up'. Luke is delicious here and I love his confident, flirty smile

Except for most of Season 7, for understandable reasons. And then the blue cap makes a return, and Lorelai allows it to make her mind think again.
