I've honestly considered moving to point pleasant to be able to see all the mothman stuff and be able to attend the mothman festival each year.
Can't wait to see more Mothman gameplay. Rad counters are somehow one of the best mechanics made in the past few years.
Im building my mothman deck to just go ham on passive damage, radiation, bloodchief ascension, syr konrad.
Looks like heaps of fun cards, hope you folks come back to these with upgrades!

Greatly enjoy how many games y'all play with each new precon set. It's great to see different cards and strategies from each deck, and to give different decks a chance to particularly shine.
One thing to note with the proliferate is you choose the player so if they have both rad and energy they get an extra of both. Jerry should have been getting extra energy.
Super minor but jim kept not gaining enough life, was going up by 2 instead of 4 when attacking with the modified ian. 2 damage to three targets (ping, self, combat damage) for 6 life, lose 2 since one target is jim for a net of 4
29:32 Jerry could have chosen to resolve the rad counters before the last chapter of his Saga, while pardon skills was still exiled with it, which would have given one less counter each to Alex's Mothman and Mirelurk Queen

All these decks get me so excited! I’ve been thinking about getting back into magic and this is literally the best reason to because the fallout series will always be my favorite gaming series of all time.

This one is a little different because we got the decks right before we had to leave for MagicCon Chicago. We're doing 4 games with no upgrades, and we'll be doing a few more with the decks upgraded but those won't be ready until late march or early april.

Doctor Madison Li should 100% read "whenever a nontoken artifact enters the battlefield under you control" That way it still benefits from the graveyard synergy in the deck, but doesn't break completely with treasures/clues/ect.

I love this edit style, you know whats happening in the board all the time but from time to time breaks the monotony with some talking or whatever. In my opinion this is the best way to make this kind of videos.

I think that dogmeat mill trigger may still be done wrong (only 9 mins on). It is mill 5 then ANY equip or aura from the graveyard. In the other videos the deck players were only doing from the 5.

Easy 3/4 cards per round and same +1/+1 counters on the queen is so good with moth man. Very sneaky card. Love these decks!!

Yall should try out these decks with the alternate commanders next, show off how they can interact with the concept as constructed, plus we might see some different synergies.
I always wanted to see the same group play the precons a few times.
29:15 dogmeat should proc his etb again after leaves the saga
@38:37 Jerry counts out 6 cards, putting the top card on his library on the bottom of the pile to flip. That card was a land and would have caused tension, excitement and drama if it was the first card flipped to his rad counter. Instead, he flipped the 6th card in his library first, which was a non-land. Game wise it didn't matter, content wise it did.
I wanna use the izzet tawnos as a commander for this. Seems like a good color identity and effect.

6:40 Ian does damage equal to its power to you! And to a target! So I guess with basilisk collar it would net Even but just for the what it's worth
It has lifelink, so it nets positive. He should be gaining 4 with each swing. 2 combat damage and 2 to any target. The 2 damage self inflicted is negated with the lifelink.

Great game! Jerry could have gotten rid of the Hardened Scales for good if Jan had chosen to let his Caesar go to exile, since only two of the exiled permanents are returned at chapter three.
I've been playing the precons online and I by far think they're the most fun I've had with just a precon. They feel like most turns I'm doing something, but I'm not like, oppressively taking over the game.
I wonder what if there is two moth man on battlefield, does etb and attack trigger for each mothman rad counter generate effect because it’s ‘whenever the wise mothman’ sentence working with the opponent mothman too?
The mothman deck seems super strong. Dogmeat seems like a fun deck to play.
Just want to point out, you cannot proliferate a rad counter, without also giving extra energy counters to a player with them, as proliferate targets cards or players, and both energy counters and rads are counters on a player. So when that player is targetted you must increase all types of counters they have.

Seems that there's some great cards here, and a LOT of stinkers. Still looking forward to giving these a go. Looks to me Mothman is the only deck that can hold it's own outside of these precons in casual?
If Jim had equipped the basilisk collar and gained some life with his double strike Dogmeat on his last turn he might have lived but then again it might just meant Alex would have to fully swing out at 1 of them and then possibly die to the one left Alive
Im so confused by the Ozolith not being in the Hail Ceasar or Mothman decks. They have so much countrr synergy that gets blown out so often.
mothman seems worded weirdly similar to laelia blade reforged, but because each rad counter is it’s own thing wouldn’t you get a moth man trigger for each non-land milled rather than up to the number of creatures?

Kinda hoping that wizards makes a plane where radiation is a thing, just so they can print more cards with rad counters, I really like them.
Junk tokens are working better than Clue tokens (in decks not built around Clues). Not needing mana to activate is enough of an upside to edge them over Clue tokens, even though they are Sorcery speed.
Hot take for sure. Impulse draw is not as good as draw but in the right deck it can be better (Prosper, Faldorn fi)
It would be nifty if with game 3 with the new precons you might have used the alternate commanders, shown the decks having that breadth and change in playstyle
I mean some if them don't really work with the deck like Mr. house and Preston also seems like somewhat of a downgrade for the pure precon.
When using nipton lottery. Can you get your own creature? As a best possible outcome I guess

I'm curious which will be better, this Jeskai energy deck or the MH3 Jeskai energy deck.
I can guess which one is more expensive and will probably have better cards; but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the better deck. Looking at you commander masters 💸

@@TheSpikeFeeders very ignorant at the time, did a lot of looking around on sites and google, and then realized about a few hours later, this channel was the actual site of the dice, and the only dice I found online like them was here the whole time. But ya I saw they were sold out. What are your timelines for Shipping into Canada? Any "tell" email list for people waiting. I am just starting my first commander deck on the precon mothman deck after 15 years of magic. But with all the counters shenanigans, needed something like these dice to just make things go faster and smoother for my needs.

At 28:50 wasnt jan supposed to make 4 copies? Because it said create that many tokens and he had to exile 4 cards?
One copy per four cards - if this card did make 1 copy per each card exiled, it would be one of the best cards in the game.

Isn't The editors comment at roughly 15:28 inaccurate because he could crew in response to the mothman trigger because the trigger is put onto the stack and you don't need to target the creatures for the ability until it resolves?
Targets are selected as a part of an ability being put onto the stack, same as a spell.
