    How often do you gotta be replacing the bronze be trunion bushings i hurd alot people say they wear quick 🤔???

    • @bought2build
      @bought2build  8 місяців тому +1

      CHE uses a full floating design I haven’t had any issue with them. I have seen issues with the press in style bronze.

      @bought2build I seen those I just don't want have to be replacing them often my car a weekend warrior but I do be reving high at random times you know when in need for speed 😆 just want as much as info as I can to make my needless decision in cage or the bronze

      @@RESTLESSOFFICIAL yeah I hear ya I mean these are definitely a strong design for high rpm personally I wouldn’t worry about them but do some research and see what you think could even reach out and call CHE and see if they have any type of recommendation on a service life of them or anything good luck 🤟🤟👍👍👍👍

    I just did these on my ls. I couldn't tell which side of the clips were round or squared edge. Even looking under a zoom on my phone.

      it was hard to see and my vision isn't the best as I have 1 eye with zero vision but I could tell bassed off of feel I would rub them on my thumb basically and I could feel the sharper/squared side pretty distinctly hope this helps 🤟

    Question.
    I'm about to do this on my ls7.
    Do you need to get the rockers on the lowest point on the cam,or can they all be changle and torqued down?

    • @bought2build
      @bought2build  Рік тому +1

      So some people will say that you can just take them all off and do them all at once put it back together and torque it up but personally I just do it how I did in the video I’ll go to the “lowest point” so the rockers have no tension on them they actually have just a little bit of free play so you can feel them wiggle then I will do those and re torque them down and move on to the next
      You could take them all off at once and then as you put them back on and torque them go through and rotate the engine and torque them at their lowest point but like I said I just do them as I go and then come back and rotate the engine and check/re torque all of them again I also use some loctite hope this helps! 👍🤟🤟

      Thank you! 🙏🏻 and so far they have been great! Install was super smooth and easy, they seem like a way better setup than stock’s for sure! I’ve got a pretty healthy cam in it with some pretty stout springs reving it decently high with the procharger setup and they have been great! The whole valve train is damn near silent! I would definitely recommend!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟

      @@Gooftroop45 I’ve got the chromoly ones from BTR 7.350 long 5/16” diameter .080 Wall did the full BTR kit they offer went with the stage 3 blower cam and Johnson lifters as I was originally planning to go LSA but it seems to be working great with this setup we also did LS3 heads which dropped the compression ratio a little bit because when I had them gone through I didn’t have them milled so that will probably affect the lengths 🤟🤟🤟

      Agree, Amsoil is junk, And as for using blue loctite on these bolts is a No-No and if/when you do use loctite on anything your to assemble the item as in tightening it right away as Loctite dries when there's no air/oxygen present
