The island bed - Lots of araliaceae

A look around one of the island bards in our garden, this area got hammered in the winter of 22/23 but has bounced back, mostly due to me putting a bit more thought into the planting as I probably got it wrong first time round (wrong plants & small plants)
The combination of plants has created a canopy of foliage which I really like and it can only get better

Thanks, it’s still got a lawn, but the beds are really wide, so that probably helps
Two dogs and lots of grandkids saved the lawn!

@@montongarden Haha yes its always good to have a lawn. I have chipped away at it a little, but not to the extreme! tbf I reckon the dog and kids would love it all as jungle 🙂
