- Finally took my Bmw out for the first time was able get 111 miles in today it was a great day had slot of fun kinda pushed it a little harder then I wanted but the bike is fast

Isn't that against the run in period ?
Soumendra Jena it is but it’s not going hurt it as long as ur change up your revs and switching gears not staying at one speed for long distances ur going be ok 👍

MrBarrow100 thanks man 👍 and it’s the last time I take it out for a while it took me 3 hrs to clean off all that shit from the roads they were bad ... but I got to say it was so much fun to ride again

Movistar Racing are you planning on doing any track days with the RR. if so where at. There's not any twisty roads that I know about. So I'm trying to find somewhere to go this yr.
MrBarrow100 I might will see if I have the time I’d love to do it ... there are a few places that have some twisty they are short but it’s something Rochester rd by lakeville mi and out by Stockbridge mi
I'm looking at this bike now. Same year different color. It's priced favorably well over the 2023 with low miles. Do u still have this bike? If so are u still enjoying it or has reliability been an issue?
Love this bike. Do you Know how to desactivate the rev limiter. It's the only reason why it reached 129mph.
Hopefully, your buddy's alive? He doesn't look so comfortable attempting to do what he's doing at those speeds. If he is in fact still alive, I hope he uses just a little more caution in the future. Speaking from experience, you only get a very few chances (sometimes only one) to screw-up on the road at those speeds. Better to live to ride another day than to waste it all doing stupid shit that you already know you shouldn't be doing in the first place. Ride on and be careful.
do you have any issue when putting a quick disconnect leads to the battery, it wont start the engine/battery drained after a break from riding? or any common issues of parasitic drain that i should know about on the 2018 s1000rr? and sometimes after an hour of riding (w/o the quick disconnect leads on the battery) and got home and shut the bike off i try to try to turn the bike on again just to see how the battery is doing and it sounded like its kinda having trouble for sec to fire the engine up. any idea what could cause any battery problems. i actually bought a higher spec lithium battery just to see if that solves the problem, still waiting for it to arrive though.. hopefully it does solve the problem but i still feel like the battery is draining during riding for some reason. thanks for the reply in advance

bradheemma today was the first time i took it out for a ride and put 111 miles on it and yes it feels really good very easy to ride and not as harsh like my r1 I recommend this bike . Plus it’s fast 💨

@@Eaglefirearms im jealous.. we cant put on full exhaust on the street where im from.. too noisy they said or else we get pulled over.. i do have the full system akra gp exhaust and it freaking sound amazing and freaking loud makes my ears itch with helmet on when i ride with it.. i love it! but its just to loud for our street though so back with the cat slip on system for now
