People in the halo community really need to appreciate blitz for being the voice for us, honestly I lost hope in inf but everytime I see blitz use his platform it’s like he’s doing our work for us. Thank you blitz.
They need to add multiple people emotes like Helldivers 2. Imagine doing some 4 person emotes that take a while to initiate, so the risk is high for the reward.
They should make them work kinda like glory kills in doom. When you perform an assassination successfully it instantly fully recharges your shields and health.
i agree with keeping a toggle for turning em off but what i would love to see is the customizable assassinations like 5 had but let us favorite a few and randomize which one we do based off those few
I thought it was such a wasted opportunity, since you could equip knives, throwing knives, machetes, a kukri, Tantos, cyber sword, wrist blades, and a Katana and yet you couldn't assassinate people. How awesome would it have been to have different animations depending on what blade your spartan had? Heck maybe even having multiple equiped could allow multiple possible animations. Such a waste.
I'm fine with missing out on assassinations, but I do think it's a letdown to not have them going forwards, especially for those who enjoy them. Although I'd rather not have them at all at this rate, because I know they're going to charge us for access to them.
The crazy thing is that Assassinations are also VERY monetizable. So not it not only hurts the fans, but also hurts their bottom line. Just a lose lose to not have them.
@@Spendingryan Makes sense. It's obvious by now that the game was rushed out the door and that there were tons of management and hiring issues (plus COVID restrictions). I have an understanding why it wasn’t in halo infinite, the hellish development caused 343 industries to cut so much, and unfortunately assassinations was one of them, if 343 has enough time to cook the next halo game in the oven, I think that assassinations could make a return!
The amount of unecessary deaths going for assassinations and each was so worth it It’s a tough play to assassinate someone when we all have proximity radar but yes “competitive reasons”
I like what they did in Halo 5, where the assassinations exist but you can disable them in settings so that you aren't necessarily locked into the animation if you just want to get the kill fast and move on, which is important for more chaotic battles in both multiplayer and campaign alike, not to mention speedrunning.
Halo 4-5 the Spartans had Hidden Blade like knifes bc they extended from the wrist into the hand/swivel to the hand In Reach sometimes it was the same and sometimes they would grab the knife off their Chest
I put in 100s of hours into Halo multiplayer every iteration, but I still consider myself more of a casual multiplayer guy. Absolutely love assassinations. One of my biggest gripes with Infinite.
What I'd really like to see with the return of assassinations is the ability to select any number of them from a list that can be used. Halo 5 allowed us to choose any style but only one at a time. I want to either be able to use all of them or exclude certain ones. If I dress my spartan as an ODST, I'd want assassinations that would fit that style. Same if we get elites back as well.
Assassinations were one of the few new additions I actually liked in Reach, and they were a bit of a highlight in Halo 5, so I have no idea why they would get rid of the feature. Even if you want to argue that Infinite was 343 trying to go back to basics, and make a more classic Halo experience, I don't think classic fans are against the idea of assassinations in general, even if the classic games didn't have them. Really hope the next Halo game has assassinations, among other things like custom colors, playable Elites, etc.
I would love to see it return. If they add it, I would like the option to disable it in the gametype. I wouldn't want to accidentally do it during grifball.

People in the halo community really need to appreciate blitz for being the voice for us, honestly I lost hope in inf but everytime I see blitz use his platform it’s like he’s doing our work for us. Thank you blitz.
I didn't want them. I always preferred back smacks.
to people talking about a toggle, it has always been holding melee to assassinate and tapping to back smack
Halo infinite had the potential to add, playable elites, assassinations, plasma rifle, and the covenant carbine. Am I forgetting anything else?
They need to add multiple people emotes like Helldivers 2. Imagine doing some 4 person emotes that take a while to initiate, so the risk is high for the reward.
They should make them work kinda like glory kills in doom. When you perform an assassination successfully it instantly fully recharges your shields and health.
we live in a world where cod has assassinations and halo does not
I recognize the animation in the thumbnail.
🤤
i agree with keeping a toggle for turning em off but what i would love to see is the customizable assassinations like 5 had but let us favorite a few and randomize which one we do based off those few
Now I like assassinations, but I think 343 sidnt add them to Infinite to make a Halo 3 esq playstyle
I've said this a couple of times but they probably disbanded the animation team, assasinations need an animation team to exist
@@Spendingryan Makes sense. It's obvious by now that the game was rushed out the door and that there were tons of management and hiring issues (plus COVID restrictions). Maybe they'll be in the next game and I'm hoping that the lack of Bonnie Ross and changing of all the other execs means that we'll have good run going forward.
@@MillionaireHoyOriginal for sure
I have an understanding why it wasn’t in halo infinite, the hellish development caused 343 industries to cut so much, and unfortunately assassinations was one of them, if 343 has enough time to cook the next halo game in the oven, I think that assassinations could make a return!
The amount of unecessary deaths going for assassinations and each was so worth it
It’s a tough play to assassinate someone when we all have proximity radar but yes “competitive reasons”
I had assassinations disabled in H5, slowed down gameplay and left me open to being shot
I like what they did in Halo 5, where the assassinations exist but you can disable them in settings so that you aren't necessarily locked into the animation if you just want to get the kill fast and move on, which is important for more chaotic battles in both multiplayer and campaign alike, not to mention speedrunning.
Lol I totally thought that was my clip from reach at first with the double assassination hahaha. I used to do that on that tower so much
if someone assassinated me in a match, i would do anything i could to get them back, and throw in a tactical crouch for good measure
It is time to hand over the keys to the engine for the community now to take on and see if they can extend the game's capabilities.
Halo 5 Assassinations were so good man
343 really dropped the ball with not including them in Infinite
the option to turn them off was nice in ranked because the animation hindered you taking you out of the fight or delaying you from reaching an obj.
Halo 4-5 the Spartans had Hidden Blade like knifes bc they extended from the wrist into the hand/swivel to the hand In Reach sometimes it was the same and sometimes they would grab the knife off their Chest
Loved the Assassinations
I swear, if halo 5 had infinites art design, that multiplayer would have been much more popular...
H5 PC when? (No im not counting forge)
The actual question is why did 343 remove split screen from halo mcc on pc. Im probly late but I just built my pc.
Was that a recent thing?
@Cyborg647 idk bro I just tried doing it with my nephew on pc because I wanted to play modded halo and it didn't work
Assasinations, just like vehicle hijacking, dual wielding, and armor customization is another novel additive that enhances everything.
I put in 100s of hours into Halo multiplayer every iteration, but I still consider myself more of a casual multiplayer guy. Absolutely love assassinations. One of my biggest gripes with Infinite.
"343 removed this from halo and people aren't happy" Mint, do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down.
Playing a ton of Space Marine 2 lately has made me realize how much I miss assassinations in Halo. Bring back assassinations please 343 and Microsoft.
Yeah.. about the next game. . They can't even develop Infinite properly. Why think they can do something they never could before.
I thought they didn’t do assassinations in Halo Infinite because they wanted to keep that teen rating.
H5 had assassinations and it was a T rated game
If assassination’s are going to be in the next halo game they have to balance them in a way that your assassination wont be stolen from a teammate
Getting the rare Brute assassinations were so satisfying
I was really disappointed when they said they would be added and weren't just in Infinite. Then they never came in. They are such an awesome addition
I would love to see it return. If they add it, I would like the option to disable it in the gametype. I wouldn't want to accidentally do it during grifball.
Mint knows what makes a great thumbnail
