- The Tennessee Titans will be taking on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2 and it is the perfect opportunity for Ryan Tannehill to get revenge after a bad Week 1 and getting injured against the Chargers last season. Next, the Titans offensive line was more impressive than it first seemed led by rookie Peter Skoronski who looked like one of the best in the NFL. Finally, the Titans pass rush will need to replicate some of their dominance from Week 1 against the Saints when they play the explosive Chargers offense.

I really want to see Kelly set Tannehill up to succeed. It’ll tell us he’s self aware and will be good for a young struggling qb. He needs to put Tannehill in quick easy read easy throw situations early against a weak chargers secondary. Get Tannehill’s confidence back in the first half and build a upon that and use the run game to keep the chains moving. I want this game to be the game we know Kelly is the guy for the next franchise qb by showing he can put a struggling vet in a situation to rally back from a slump.

Anyone see Josh Allen press conference after the loss to the Jets..? He threw 3 picks and took 100% of the blame for the loss. He didn't say it doesn't matter... He was visibly disappointed in his lousy performance. He said he lost the game for his team.
Allen was a bit too hard on himself, but hard not to respect a QB that doesn't downplay his role in a bad performance.

When other teams in the division got their quarterbacks. I have more confidence in Trevor Lawrence than Ryan Tannehill. The question is how long does Mike Vrabel wait before he makes a quarterback change.
@@tylernelson3343they do not have their guys. Richardson is a bust and stroud will be a bust due to circumstances. Lawrence is good but not elite yet and very beatable but of course you have more faith in a generational first over all pick that’s 23. I mean what a weird thing to say.

If you watched film bosa and Mack had free rushes towards Tua but he got rid of the ball and stepped up in the pocket and Quarterbacked really really well.

Coming from a Chargers Fan perspective, you guys have a looney guy for your Locked on podcast. Comparing the Dolphins crazy explosive offense to the titans and thinking they're gonna do just as well as they did 😂. Ryan is not scoring over 30 points, which is what it's gonna take to beat the Chargers this year. Ryan is gonna have a few picks and sacks on him. Can't wait to come back and hear how he tries to defend lousy QB play.
Even the defense is not what it was, those two big seasons with Harold Landry and Bud Dupree on the edge and Jeffery Simmons and D'Amico archery causing havoc in the middle, they don't have that anymore. They have a strong defensive line but the guys on explosive off the edge anymore The edge guys are wrestling to break through and the defensive line also, I know Jeffery Simmons got a sack and a couple other players, but remember the defense that went up against the Rams, and the bills, and the Chiefs, in the past few years that was explosive and we won those games except for the Kansas City maybe. Every snap that defense was all over the quarterback, now we just kind of bring pressure. And the offense is as worse as it's ever been, so the Titans give no reason for optimism.

Not sure I agree with the age talk with Tanne, as if he's over the hill and that's why his performance was bad. Maybe that's not the reality, or at least not in totality.
He looked like he was shook in the pocket. Granted 2022 could do that to a guy, and this OL started out bad early on, but then they got their ish together....but Tanne was still feeling phantom pressure and not maneuvering well in the pocket. He often didn't set his feet properly, he was rushing things, and that can make your arm look weak. He also maybe didn't just have a good feel for how to move in the pocket....I'm not sure that was just the fault of old legs.
I'm guessing it was more mental than physical against the Saints. I'd certainly need more evidence to think he's physically over the hill, although it very well could be part of the issues.
Tannehills revenge? From what we know about the Chargers from week one is that they can put up points. They may give up a lot of points but they can put up points. If the Titans fall down 14 points early. I don't see them coming back and winning. Believe me I want the Titans to win but they got to show people that they really mean business.

Nobody is bashing Tannehill we all loved him we he first took over and we went on a good run. The NFL stands for Not For Long, it is a what can you do for me now league. Man just to start off, Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, what are we talkin about. Man I just saw Anthony Richardson and the Jacksonville jaguars, the Titans reign over the AFC South is over. Jacksonville is better than us, and Anthony Richardson, looks like Cam Newton but better. And we're over here talkin about a thirty-six-year-old tannehill. The only hope the Titans have is Malik Willis, and he's not even comparable, but he's the only quarterback on the Titans roster with the type of talents to get us over a edge. But Ryan tannehill and will Levis, the days of quarterbacks like them are over.
Will Levis is mobile in his college career he had 5k passing yards and like 750 rushing yards and like 17 yds on the ground

Our offense is one of the most simplistic offenses in the NFL because of Tannehill. The NFL has figured it out because Tannehill can't run a complex system. That is why our pass game is garbage.

@@bridgelaurie9490 I don't care what system you run. Just because you run a certain system doesn't mean what you are using from that system is complex. AJ Brown pretty much gave the Eagles the blue print to our offense last year. We didn't change anything in our system because Tannehill obviously can't run a more complex system. The NFL clearly has the Blue print for Tannehill.

I don't know how to feel. Tannehill is my QB and I have to cheer for him. On the other hand, he has let me down more than not. But the NFL isn't easy. There are grown men on the other side of the ball actively trying to stop him. It is also a team game. But he isn't really that good.
