Awesome video... and love your guitar! Nice chords and sweet sounding reverbe! :) I want to install a Bigsby on my Gibson Less Paul... haven't searched yet but I assume I'll be able to find a Vibramate suitable for a Less Paul? Thanks again!
I want a vibrato system on my chibson 335. Do you or anyone know of any knock off trem systems to buy? I think it's a waste and a sin to put a bigsby on it lol.
Teemo league The Bigsby B700 is supposed to be the cheaper Chinese version but I think the difference is not that much. Also, check out the Duesenberg Les Trem II. That’s a good cheaper alternative. I’ve seen a lot of other cheap knockoffs too but I won’t recommend them since they might make your guitar unplayable.
Do you really need a roller bridge for the 335 style guitars? Since the break angles are less for 335 style guitars they stay in tune/pitch better right? Most pictures of vintage ES-335 with bigsbys don’t seem to be equipped with a roller bridge and wondered why wouldn’t they put one if bigsbys will make the guitar change in pitch/tone. I ask this because I’m thinking about investing in a Bigsby (with the Vibramate) for a future Epiphone 335 and don’t wanna spend too much on this project.
I’m not exactly sure if it makes a huge difference but the tuning with my roller bridge is remarkably stable. (I haven’t tested with the stock bridge). You can always try it with the stock bridge to save money then just switch it out if you encounter issues. Mine came with my Bigsby + Vibramate kit but the AllParts roller bridge is relatively inexpensive if you want to add it later.
Alex Liu I read the roller saddles maintain tuning stability better than the stock since there’s less friction. I can say my tuning has been rock steady so far and my Bigsby experience with my 335 has been awesome.
Christian Mendez I think the Epiphone Dot has the same dimensions as this Epi ES-335 so yes. Make sure you get the E-series Vibramate so it’ll fit perfectly (the G-series is for Gibsons which are half a inch longer)
Sounds great! I’m thinking of doing this to my Epiphone 335 Pro. Thanks Man!
Great Job...😅
Thanks for the video, can you add a link to the kit. I can't seem to find that kit for my region.

I did the same thing, however, I added a roller bridge for smother vibrato and strings stay in tune!
I he did add a roller bridge
Does it stay in Tune with the roller bridge?
What is the part number for the roller bridge. Having trouble finding the right one for my Epiphone Dot.

@@TelevatorMuzak thank you for pointing me in a good direction. I will research the issues with those and see which one will work.

Nice video! Does the saddle matter a lot for the system?

How’s the tuning been since installing?
Tuning has been surprisingly stable so far. The roller saddles help a lot
Do you think this system will work for my Epiphone Dot Deluxe?

Francis Kiko Navarro (TelevatorMuzak) thank you!!
It's not DIY, you bought a Vibramate 🤷🙄
